Comprehensive system and method of universal real-time linking of real objects to a machine, network, internet, or software service
A system for detecting placement or misplacement of an object includes a wireless tag; a first electronic device (“FED”) associated with the tag to automatically detect signals from the tag, determine a position of the FED, transmit the position and status to an external electronic device or network (“EED”) in response to the status indicating that the tag and the FED are within a predetermined range, and transmit the position and status to the EED in response to the status indicating that the tag and the FED are outside of the predetermined range; and a second electronic device (“SED”) that is unassociated with the tag to automatically detect signals from the tag, determine a position of the SED, determine an identifier for the tag using the signals, and transmit the position of the SED and the identifier to the EED.
Systems and methods for cryptographic authentication of contactless cards
Example embodiments of systems and methods for data transmission between a contactless card, a client application, and a server are provided. The memory of the contactless card may include a first card number table storing a first plurality of card numbers, each card number associated with a user account. A first applet may cycle through the first card number table and transmit each of the first plurality of card numbers to a second applet. In response to detection of one or more gestures by the card, the client application may read one or more of the first plurality of card numbers from the second applet and transmit a verification request associated with the one or more read card numbers to the server, which may compare the one or more read card numbers to a number from a second card number table and transmit a verification determination to authenticate the card.
MULTIPURPOSE RFID TRANSPONDER AND A SYSTEM FOR READING IT
A magnetic field induction coupled RFID system for scanning and reading at least one object having an RFID tag or inlay label device attached or embedded therein to impart a unique identity to each of the objects. The RFID tag has two distinct modes of air interface protocol operation, such that the tag is capable of being read at close proximity range by a device utilizing a command-and-control protocol, such as an NFC-protocol compatible smartphone or similarly functioning device, and alternatively by an RFID reader utilizing a different protocol capable of supporting efficient high-speed anti-collision features for enabling fast inventorying at item level of retail store items, warehousing, customs and logistics operations over considerably greater interrogation distances, where both protocols utilize substantially the same carrier frequency.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR IDENTIFYING UNDERUSED PROPERTIES AND UTILIZING UNDERUSED PROPERTIES BY LEVERAGING MOBILE UNITS
In one embodiment, a system includes a controller. The controller is configured to perform operations including obtaining data about an area related to a user, determining vacancy information about the area based on the data, determining at least one of an accessibility and a usability of the area, determining that the area is available for occupancy by one or more mobile units based on the vacancy information and at least one of the accessibility and the usability of the area, and updating a map including the area with an indication that the area is available for occupancy by one or more mobile units.
Method, system and computer program product for tracking of a finite amount of liquid volume which is individualized in volume units
An invention relating to a method, a system, a container and a computer program product concerned with tracking a finite amount of liquid volume which is individualized into volume units. Each volume unit (Vu) comprises a define subset of volume from the finite amount of liquid volume (V). The liquid volume (V) is moved as volume units (Vu) and/or volume unit batch along a series of blocks in a network. The method comprises the steps of generating an identification representative of the specific liquid volume upon generation of that volume, storing that identification on a wirelessly readable communication unit applied on a single volume unit and/or single volume unit batch of the liquid volume, reading that identification by means of at least one first data acquisition unit upon movement of the single volume unit into a specific block in the network and enriching the identification with a specific block identification to form a first block identification and storing that first block identification on a distributed ledger. That last step can be repeated for each movement of the single unit from a parent block into a child block and thereby storing a numbering of subsequent block identification on the distributed ledger for each block the movement into is performed. Finally, an access to the volume unit in any one of the blocks in a network is recorded by means of the wirelessly readable communication unit and reflected in a subsequent reading of the identification.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SORTATION OF PRODUCTS USING A CONVEYER ASSEMBLY
In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to the sortation of products using a conveyor assembly. In some embodiments, there is provided a system for receiving and sorting products shipped to a shopping facility including: a delivery location at a shopping facility configured to receive a shipment of products; a conveyor assembly comprising: a product identification module configured to read identification data from an identification label disposed on a product; a plurality of sortation modules configured to move the product to one of a predetermined plurality of sortation destination areas; a control circuit operatively coupled to the product identification module and to each of the sortation modules, the control circuit configured to: receive the identification data from the product identification module; determine the sortation destination area for the product based at least on one of shopping facility data and shipping data regarding the product as sortation criteria; and cooperate with the plurality of sortation modules to move the product to the determined sortation destination area.
DEVICE FOR LAUNCHING MULTIPLE PEER TO PEER CASHLESS PAYMENT APPLICATIONS ON MOBILE DEVICES
A device includes one or more NFC chips that are preprogrammed to provide a payee's identification and information for launching any of several P2P cashless payment applications to which the payee is subscribed, to a mobile phone of a payor. When a mobile device of a payor is brought to the vicinity of an NFC chip of the device, the mobile device launches a corresponding P2P cashless payment application. The P2P cashless payment application shows the payee's information and the payor may proceed to make a payment to the payee. The device may include an NFC chip that is preprogrammed to provide the payee's identification and the information for launching a single application on the mobile device of the payor to display the P2P cashless payment applications to which the payee is subscribed. The payor may then proceed to make a payment to the payee using the payor's mobile device.
SMART TRIGGER INITIATED OR EXTENDED COLLABORATION PLATFORM
A real-time-communication (RTC) collaboration platform allows for customer-initiated and/or agent-initiated RTC collaboration sessions that may include rich media (voice, video, screen shares, annotations, drawings, document sharing and editing, etc.). The collaboration session may be initiated in various embodiments, by a smart trigger including one or more links that may be selected as a trigger. When the link(s) are selected session information may be transmitted or otherwise elected to target the session. In some embodiments, a combination of smart trigger devices may provide additional benefits, such as restricting the initiation of a session to a location where the NFC tag is present. Although individual examples provided herein describe the smart trigger as a QR code, an NFC tag, and/or a link on a web page, smart triggers of any type may be used to initiate a communication session as described herein. A smart trigger may also be used to extend the collaboration session to a new device.
