Programable, refillable medication package with scheduled metered dispensing and med unit sensor
A programmable, refillable medication dispenser with scheduled metered medication unit dispensing, includes a main housing, a powered CPU with countdown timer, a multi-unit medication removable refillable cartridge with a (first) lock, a medication release control gate positioned at a medication outlet and connected to a (second) lock being a gate control mechanism, and an in-chamber medication unit sensor. A pharmacist will insert a medicine cartridge into the main housing, locking it in, and will program the CPU to permit a patient to activate dispensing according to a predetermined schedule, and then only when a medication unit is sensed in the chamber. A patient may receive the dispenser and activate medication dispensing according to the programmed schedule and dispense by the timer schedule, only when a medication unit is sensed in the chamber.
Methods and apparatuses for determining a position of a security tag
Aspects of the present disclosure include methods, systems, and non-transitory computer readable media for receiving a magnetic signal from a magnetic signal transmitter, determining a strength of the magnetic signal at the security tag, receiving a radio frequency identification (RFID) interrogatory signal from a RFID scanner, and transmitting a RFID response signal, to the RFID scanner, indicating the strength of the magnetic signal.
PROTECTIVE MEDICAL DEVICE FACEPLATE
Devices are provided that include a faceplate for a medical device. In embodiments, an identifier chip adapted to be affixed to an exterior portion of a faceplate provides a unique identifier for the faceplate. Accordingly, the identifier chip enables tracking and monitoring of an associated medical device. And, in embodiments, the faceplate includes a visual communication alert indicator to enable the faceplate to provide visual cues a user. As such, the status of the medical device and the faceplate can be easily communicated to the user. Methods to use the faceplate are also provided.
ENCODED INFORMATION READING TERMINAL WITH USER-CONFIGURABLE MULTI-PROTOCOL WIRELESS COMMUNICATION INTERFACE
An apparatus may include a microprocessor and a wireless communication interface configured to perform at least one of receiving a first radio signal or transmitting a second radio signal. The microprocessor may be configured to execute at least one of a base-band encoder software program or a base-band decoder software program. The apparatus may be further configured to execute a wireless communication protocol selector software program that may be configured to optimize a value of a user-defined criterion in order to dynamically select at least one of a wireless communication network, a wireless communication protocol, and a parameter of a wireless communication protocol.
MANAGING AND MONITORING CAR-BATTERY TO EFFECTIVELY AND SAFELY SUPPLY ENERGY TO ELECTRICALLY POWERED VEHICLES
The present invention discloses a system for managing rechargeable batteries to provide power to electrical vehicles. The system comprises a plurality of charging stations each if the intelligent charger includes at least an intelligent battery charger for charging the rechargeable batteries. The intelligent battery chargers further comprises a battery diagnostic detector for detecting and storing data of designated battery health management parameters. The intelligent battery chargers further comprises a transmitter for transmitting the data of the designated battery health management parameters as wireless signals to a networked server in a battery management center.
User-specific dispensing system
The invention provides a system to physically dispense an item, including tangible items and/or services or features, on-site from a dispenser whereby the item to be dispensed is selected by the system based on user-specific or item-specific information. In an embodiment, the system selects the dispensed item based on both user-specific and item-specific information. In another embodiment the invention comprises a system that activates gaming features in a gaming device based on user-specific information. In another embodiment, the invention comprises a system incorporated into an interactive amusement system to activate features of a playfield based on user-specific information.
Scanner-Based Apparatus and Method
A retail shopping facility having at least one public entrance, a customer service area, a product display area, and at least one point-of-sale (POS) station also has at least one scanner configured to remotely and uniquely identify a product previously purchased from the product display area as that product re-enters the retail shopping facility via the public entrance with a customer. That scanner provides corresponding identifying information regarding that returning product to a control circuit that in turn uses that information to automatically process an exchange transaction of the returning product for a substitute product in the product display area such that the exchange transaction occurs without the customer engaging either the customer service area or one of the POS stations.
Independently procurable item compliance information
Systems and methods electronically provide information regarding digital rules related to a potential relationship instance. Users often wish to know which digital rules apply to a specified item before engaging in a relationship instance with a host entity regarding the item. The system and methods described herein allow a computing facility to identify an item and receive resource information related to the item and the digital rules applicable to the item.
Classic Car Restoration Services Systems and Methods
The invention relates to classic car restoration services systems and methods, and, more particularly to classic car restoration services interfacing systems and methods allowing classic car facilities and enthusiasts to document, represent to prospective buyers, acquire classic cars and to facilitate their restorations.
System and method for managing inventory
A system and a method for managing inventory are provided. The system may include: a plurality of weighing devices, at least a memory, and at least a processor. The weighing devices are configured to weight at least an object. The processor is configured to receive data from at least one weighing device relating to the at least one object weighed by the respective weighing device, and to store the received data in the memory. The processor is further configured to determine at least a matching of data received from a first weighing device with data received from a second weighing device.
