SHARED CONTROLLER FOR SYSTEM WITH MULTIPLE NFC READERS
This disclosure relates to systems with multiple NFC front ends and at least one shared controller. One disclosed system includes a first discrete device having a first near field communication (NFC) controller, a second discrete device having a second NFC controller, a communicative connection between the first discrete device and the second discrete device, and a system controller located on the first discrete device. The system controller is communicatively connected to the first NFC controller. The system controller is connected to the second NFC controller via the communicative connection. In specific approaches, the second discrete device can include a display which is also controlled by the system controller, and the system controller is NCI compliant and application aware. In specific approaches, the system controller can control the second NFC controller based on the content concurrently being provided to the display.
RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION CARD MONITOR
An example radio frequency identification card monitor is disclosed herein. An example radio frequency identification card monitor includes an example detector to identify radio frequency identification cards, a card tracker to track the radio frequency identification card with a proximity of the apparatus, and an interface to provide alerts when the radio frequency identification cards are not within the proximity.
Method for querying information in visual smart card and visual smart card
A method for querying information in a visual smart card, comprising: a micro control unit receiving, by means of an input device, a query request inputted by a user (S1); the micro control unit determining information queried by a user request according to a received query request (S2); if first information, the micro control unit reading a first information record which is stored thereby, and parsing the first information record to obtain the first information, the first information being displayed by means of a display device (S3); if second information, the micro control unit sending an application selection instruction to a smart card chip, receiving an application selection response returned by the smart card chip, then sending an information record reading instruction to the smart card chip, receiving a second information record returned by the smart card chip, and parsing the second information record to obtain the second information, the second information being displayed by means of the display device (S4). A visual smart card applicable to said method overcomes the shortcomings in the existing technology wherein the assistance of other devices is required, while carrying out querying by means of operating a smart card directly facilitates a holder of a smart card understanding information in the smart card, improving the ease of use of smart cards.
Controlling an application parameter
An apparatus, method, and computer program product for: receiving an indication of presence of a wireless charging field, detecting a change of orientation of a device during the presence of the wireless charging field and controlling an application parameter based on the detected change.
Type 4 NFC tags as protocol interface
NFC terminal devices and corresponding integrated circuit cards (ICCs) use NFC Type 4 tags as a protocol interface for complex or encrypted communication protocols that are not natively supported by the NFC terminal devices. A smartphone acting as an NFC terminal may block applications and/or protocols other than NFC data exchange formatted (NDEF) messages. An ICC applet supporting an advanced function uses designated memory locations for the transfer of commands normally supported at an application level. Both the terminal side and the ICC applet may check the designated memory locations for updated data in the absence of protocol-level message controls.
Injection vial management system
An injection vial and injection vial management system is disclosed, wherein the injection vial is filled with a liquid medicine and signally connected with a blockchain network. The injection vial includes a bottle body and a chipset disposed within the bottle body. The chipset includes an identification label and a blockchain module. The identification label records a manufacturing process, a logistic process and a use process. The blockchain module signal connects to the blockchain network in order to record the manufacturing process, logistic process and use process in the blockchain network.
Systems and methods for controlling activation of options preloaded on a material handling vehicle
Systems and methods for a material handling vehicle include a controller and a near field communication reader adapted to communicate with the controller. The controller is configured to activate at least one of a software option and a hardware option when a near field communication device encoded with option information is placed within an operable range to the near field communication reader.
SECURITY SYSTEM WITH TEMPERATURE SENSING
An access control system includes an identification unit having an infrared (IR) transmitter that transmits IR radiation, an IR detector that receives the reflected IR radiation from one or more body parts of the user, one or more signal processing components to determine a temperature of the user based on the received reflected IR radiation, and an identification device to receive identification information of the user. The access control system also includes a processor that receives the reading of the user, instructs a door lock controller to unlock a door when the temperature is below the threshold temperature or the temperature is within the temperature range. The processor sends an alert when the temperature is above the threshold temperature or the temperature is outside the temperature range, and sends identification information of the user to one or more network devices.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF PROVIDING A WIRELESS UNLOCKING SYSTEM FOR A GROUP OF BATTERY-POWERED STORAGE DEVICES
A pair of devices includes a first device and a second device that communicate lock control signals. The first device can have both a reader component and a control module that controls both (1) a first operation of the first device (such as a sensor control) and (2) a first locking component of the first device for accessing a first door of the first device. A second device can be in communication with the first device. The second device can have a second locking component for the second device for accessing a second door of the second device. The second device in one aspect does not having a reader component or a control module that independently controls the second locking component.
VEHICLE, CLEANING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM, AND VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD
A vehicle includes a first space configured to store cleaned clothes, a second space separated from the first space, a conveyance apparatus configured to convey the cleaned clothes from the first space to the second space, a reader configured to read RF tag data from an RF tag attached to the cleaned clothes, and a control apparatus configured to control the conveyance apparatus. The control apparatus is configured to identify, based on the RF tag data read by the reader, clothes subject to delivery that are to be delivered at a next delivery location, and cause only the clothes subject to delivery to be conveyed from the first space to the second space.
