METHOD, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATICALLY SELECTING NFC EMULATION CARD
This application provides a communications system (100) for automatically selecting an NFC emulation card, which includes an NFC card reader (102) and an electronic device (101). The NFC card reader (102) sends third query information which includes first identification information and a service type of an emulation card. The electronic device (101) determines whether a first emulation card exists. When determining that the first emulation card exists, the electronic device (101) determines whether a second emulation card exists. When determining that the second emulation card exists, the electronic device (101) sends fourth response information which carries second identification information. The NFC card reader (102) sends card selection instruction information. The electronic device (101) receives the card selection instruction information, and sends card selection response information. By using the foregoing technical solution, the electronic device (101) can automatically select a corresponding emulation card, thereby improving NFC payment efficiency.
CONCURRENT INFUSION WITH COMMON LINE AUTO FLUSH
An infusion pump system and method provide concurrent infusion with common line auto flush. The infusion pump system has a first reservoir, a second reservoir, a junction, a mixing chamber, a common line having one end in fluid connection with the mixing chamber and having a terminal fluid delivery end, and an infusion pump. The method includes infusing the first fluid at a first rate along a first flow path; determining a common line flush volume value for the common line; switching to a concurrent infusion mode to drive a combination of the first fluid and the second fluid at the first rate along a second flow path including the common line; monitoring a volume of the combination of the first and second fluids driven at the first rate; and driving the combination of the first and second fluids at a combined rate along the second flow path when the monitored volume is equal to or greater than the common line flush volume value.
ELECTRONIC LOCK, SYSTEM, AND TAKE OVER LOCK MODULE, AND METHOD OF MANAGING THE SAME
A lock module for use with an electronic lock configured to selectively lock a lockable structure includes a communication subsystem configured to be communicatively coupled to a gateway and configured to be communicatively coupled to an electronic lock, wherein the communication subsystem is further configured to send an unlock signal to the electronic lock.
AMBIENT TRANSACTION SYSTEM
An ambient transaction system is described for facilitating various transactions types between a management system and a connected device over a transaction platform. Based on a variety of different triggering conditions, the transaction platform may establish an integrated session among the transaction platform, the management system, and the connected device. The transaction platform includes integrated logic of the management system such that a presentment layer provided to the connected device by the transaction platform via the integrated session includes features of the management system associated with the transaction type. When the transaction is a payment transaction, the features may include a payment feature through which checkout options may be selected for payment via the connected device. Upon receiving a payment selection from the connected device, the transaction platform may transmit the payment information to a payment processing system, and provide payment confirmation to at least the management system.
Mobile Inventory Systems and Methods
A system having a handheld device configured for activating a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag, a server communicatively coupled to the handheld device, and a processor that loads a database based on input from a user, the processor scans one or more RFID EPCs or corresponding label barcodes with the handheld device, determines whether each RFIG EPC and corresponding label barcode are in the database, and displays a list of inventory assets that were found in the database, not found in the database, or found in the inventory as extra.
TRANSPARENT HOUSING WITH AN EMBEDDED KEEPSAKE
A wearable device with an embedded keepsake, said apparatus comprising at least a transparent enclosure forming a keepsake housing; said housing filled with a pulverized expression of the keepsake for display via the transparent housing; and the filled keepsake housing embedded within any portion of the wearable device.
WEARABLE DATA STORAGE AND TRANSMISSION DEVICE FOR PROCESSING SENSOR DATA
An attachable data system for tracking items includes a microprocessor; a power supply configured to supply power to the microprocessor; a memory communicatively connected to the microprocessor; a Bluetooth communications module; and an NFC module. The NFC module performs operations including establishing an NFC field with an NFC initiator device in response to receiving an NFC signal from the NFC initiator device via the NFC antenna; extracting identifying information from the NFC signal; and storing the identifying information in the NFC memory. The microprocessor is configured to perform microprocessor operations including accessing the identifying information stored in the NFC memory; and causing a transmission of the identifying information using the Bluetooth communications module.
INTERACTIVE DATA SYSTEM
An interactive data system in which a user, scanning a tag such as a QR-code, is directed to a destination (which may be one of a number of different destinations) which is determined by a profile of the user, which profile is established beforehand. Optionally access to a destination is also determined by an access permission which may be granted to the user. In one example a user, scanning a menu of food and beverage offerings, is directed to a choice of food and beverage which is dependent on the user's likes and dislikes, and dietary and similar factors.
Precision dispenser for liquids, comprising a device for remote control and monitoring
There is described a precision dispenser for liquids, in particular medications, which allows the remote control of all operations associated with dispensing the medication to the patient so as to avoid abuses.
Hand sanitation compliance enforcement systems and methods
An electronic processor is operatively connected with at least one video camera, or additionally or alternatively a non-camera-based sensor, and at least one annunciator to process real time video acquired by the at least one video camera in real time to perform a hand hygiene compliance enforcement method for encouraging use of a hand sanitation station. The real time video is analyzed to determine an occupancy time interval over which a sanitation zone imaged by the real time video is occupied. Whether a hand sanitation event occurs is determined based on images of a wash station zone extracted from the real time video acquired during the occupancy time interval. The at least one annunciator is controlled to annunciate a hand hygiene compliance status based on the determination of whether a hand sanitation event occurs.
