BLENDING STATION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR USING THE SAME
A system for recalculating a formula previously used in preparing a mixture made from adding at least two components. The system includes a control system and salon management software. The control system has a processor, a computer-readable memory, and a display. The memory contains software configured to receive a formula defining instructions for blending a hair dye mixture using one or more blending materials and amounts recommended for the hair dye mixture. The salon management software is stored in the computer-readable memory and executed by the control system. The salon management software is in communication with the control system to exchange information on customers and formulas of hair dye mixtures associated with the customers.
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND DELIVERY THROUGH IMAGE AND DATA INTEGRATION
Methods, computer program products, and systems include a processor(s) obtaining and decoding a signal of decodable indicia. The decoded data identifies an object comprising a plurality of items. The processor(s) obtains from a memory, a visual representation the object and descriptive text characterizing the object, including quantitative inventory data. The processor(s) displays the visual representation as a three-dimensional image and the descriptive text, via a device (e.g., an augmented reality device and a virtual reality device). The processor(s) obtains, via a user interface, a designation of at least one item in the visual representation of the object. The processor(s) execute an action that changes an element of the descriptive text. The processor(s) updates concurrently with the executing, the descriptive text in the visual representation to reflect the changed quantitative or qualitative element. The processor(s) deploys an unmanned aerial device (UAV) to locate the at least one item.
VIRTUAL QUEUE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system in accordance with present embodiments includes a plurality of wearable devices and a virtual queue control system configured to maintain respective virtual queues for respective attractions and in communication with the plurality of virtual queuing attraction stations. The virtual queue control system is configured to receive communications from the plurality of virtual queuing stations and add guests to the respective virtual queues based on the communications.
RETRIEVING PERSONALIZED VISUAL CONTENT ITEMS IN REAL TIME FOR DISPLAY ON DIGITAL-CONTENT-DISPLAY DEVICES WITHIN A PHYSICAL SPACE
This disclosure describes embodiments of methods, systems, and non-transitory-computer readable media that personalize visual content for display on digital signage near a projected location of a person by mapping visual content to physical items selected by the person. In some examples, the disclosed system identifies physical items selected by a person based on signals from the physical items, such as signals emitted by RFID tags affixed to (or other devices associated with) the physical items. The disclosed system analyzes the collection of physical items—as identified by the signals—to tailor digital signage content specific to the person. The disclosed system further tracks the location of the person as the person moves through a physical space and interacts with the physical items. Based on the tracked positions, the disclosed system determines a digital sign in proximity to a predicted location of the person to display the personalized visual content.
SMART CARD WITH ACTIVE DIRECTIONAL INDICIA AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
A smart card includes a plurality of display devices on an outside surface of a housing. Circuitry within the housing includes a processor, and communication circuitry configured to communicate with at least one computing device located within a geographic region around the smart card. The processor is configured to continuously receive a plurality of communication signals from the computing device, to continuously assess a geographic distance from the smart card to the fixed position of the computing device within the geographic region using the plurality of communication signals, to continuously activate or deactivate the plurality of display devices based on the geographic distance from the smart card to the fixed position of the computing device in the geographic region for providing a user with a directional indication, distance indication, or both, to the computing device in the geographic region.
DIGITAL IDENTITY AUTHENTICATION AND VERIFICATION SYSTEM, METHOD, AND DEVICE
This disclosure generally relates to a method for authenticating a user in a digital or physical environment. The method includes receiving an identity verification request based on input provided by a user to be verified, receiving a facial and audio recognition sample from the user, transmitting the facial and audio recognition sample to one or more third party entities with a request to verify that the facial and audio recognition sample represents the user, receiving an indication from at least one of the third party entities that the user is verified, and verifying that the user who provided the facial and audio recognition sample is the person the user purports to be.
ELECTROMAGNETIC STATE SENSING DEVICES
A wireless device can transmit, over a communications network to a server, a request to download an application associated with obtaining information pertaining to a package. The wireless device can receive the requested application from the server, and can execute the application using the one or more processors. The wireless device can transmit one or more electromagnetic pings in a vicinity of the package, receive a first return signal from the first resonance portion, and receive a second return signal from the second resonance portion. The first return signal has a frequency based on the one or more electromagnetic pings and a first resonant frequency of the first resonance portion, and the second return signal has a frequency based on the one or more electromagnetic pings and a second resonant frequency of the second resonance portion.

SECURE COVER WITH TAMPER RESISTANT LANDING AREA
Various aspects of the disclosure generally relate to security for a credit card processing reader. Part of security for a reader is a secure cover having a trace mesh to discourage drilling through the cover. The mesh may be connected to one or more landing areas on the cover. The landing area has electrical pads with trace routing that provides tamper protection for the landing area.
Autonomously identifying and locating electronic equipment modules in a rack
A system is provided that includes a rack including mount positions to accept electronic equipment modules that are rack mountable and equipped with respective RFID tags, and a RFID reader array including RFID readers each of which is associated with a respective mount position, and has a read field that among the mount positions extends into only the respective mount position. Processing circuitry causes an RFID reader to radiate an interrogation signal within its read field, and in response, receive module identifiable information from an RFID tag of an electronic equipment module mounted at the mount position. A signal including the module identifiable information and mount position identifiable information is transmitted to the processing circuitry, and a second signal to a computer configured to identify the electronic equipment module from the module identifiable information, and locate the electronic equipment module at the mount position from the mount position identifiable information.
