There is provided an information processing apparatus, comprising: a processor, configured to: receive image data from a camera; cause a display to display the image data while the image data is being received from the camera; cause the display to display a first frame to guide a user to place a living face of the user in a first predetermined shooting area of the camera; cause the display to display a second frame to guide a user to place a non-living target object in a second predetermined shooting area of the camera; instruct, in response to a determination that the living face is not placed as guided, the user to place the living face as guided; and instruct, in response to a determination that the target object is not placed as guided, the user to place the target object as guided.

RFID-based item presence detection

An RFID-based item tracking system may use statistical methods to determine whether a tag or tagged item that does not respond when inventoried is present in a particular zone or reader antenna field-of-view. In one embodiment, the item tracking system may determine an observability of an item based on one or more initial trials. Upon not detecting the item in one or more subsequent trials, the item tracking system may estimate whether the item is still present based on the observability.

METHOD FOR NEAR FIELD COMMUNICATION CONNECTION OF CONTINUOUS BLOOD GLUCOSE MONITORING SYSTEM
20220257152 · 2022-08-18 ·

The present disclosure relates to a near field communication connection method of a continuous glucose monitoring system. A near field communication connection method of a continuous glucose monitoring system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include the steps of: acquiring connection information about a body attachment unit, which is attached to a human body and continuously monitors blood glucose, in order to connect communication between the body attachment unit and a communication terminal; using an identifier of the body attachment unit in the connection information to search for and select a body attachment unit matching the identifier of the body attachment unit from a device that can be communicatively connected to the communication terminal; and using an identification number of the body attachment unit in the connection information to connect communication between the selected body attachment unit and the communication terminal. According to the present invention, the body attachment unit of a continuous glucose monitor and a communication terminal are communicatively connected using the Bluetooth communication specification. Here, an image recognition code can be used to input the identification number of the body attachment unit to the communication terminal in order to establish the communicative connection, and thus the present invention has the effect of allowing the communicative connection between the body attachment unit and the communication terminal to be established more intuitively.

Product-as-a-service for connected devices

Methods and systems for a product-as-a-service. One aspect includes a product-as-a-service system comprising a server computing device. The server computing device stores information associated with a connected device, the information including at least a claim code, and upon receipt of the claim code and an application identifier of an application to be associated with the connected device, associates the connected device with the application and facilitates interactions between the connected device and the application. The server computing device includes a server operating environment that provides one or more Internet of Things (IoT) services for interacting with the connected devices, and subscriber access to the one or more IoT services. The product-as-a-service system can be decoupled from the subscriber access to the one or more IoT services. The product-as-a-service system can be instantiated with a single action. The product-as-a-service system can also be instantiated using a structured template.

Apparatus and methods for remote controlled cold storage of digital assets using near field communication tags

An air-gapped system enables the secure transfer and control of digital assets, such as those associated with crypto-currency. The system includes an Integration Server for receiving requests from an application interface, a Central Control Center for verifying the requests received and authorizing the requests using digital signatures, and multiple Distributed Data Centers, each including a cold Data Center Hardware Security Module (DC HSM). These DC HSMs securely store and manage cryptographic keys. Each Data Center also includes an offline Processing Unit coupling its DC HSM to a dedicated Remote Controlled Server. The Remote Controlled Server receives requests from the Integration Server and forwards them to the Processing Unit of a DC HSM using a Near-Field Communication (NFC) Interface between the two. Preferably, the NFC interface is physically shielded to resist side channel attacks.
