SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EMPLOYEE RETENTION
A system and method for employee retention includes determining an employee's happiness level by analysis of their attire from a captured image. Image capture and employee identification is commenced when an employee uses their employer ID to enter a work premises. Captured images are analyzed for attire content. Attire content is categorized and analyzed relative to other fashion images to gage an employee's likes or dislikes, along with their happiness level. Remedial suggestions are generated when a happiness level falls below a set threshold level. Remedial suggestions may include gifts personal to an employee as determined from their attire. Captured images and web data are subject to artificial intelligence and machine learning to continuously improve analysis and recommendations.
Medication tracking
A system and method is described for printing a label with an RFID tag. The system includes an RFID reader that queries a first RFID tag coupled to a first medicinal container that includes a medication. In response, the system receives a first unique identifier and uses the first unique identifier to determine a status of the medication, associate the first medicinal container with a medical provider and print a second label that includes a second RFID tag for a second medicinal container.
ROOFING SHINGLE HAVING UNIQUELY IDENTIFIABLE RADIO FREQUENCY-BASED TAG AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
One or more embodiments of the present disclosure describe an RFID-enabled roofing accessory. The roofing accessory may include a roofing shingle, such as an asphalt roofing shingle. The roofing accessory may include an RFID tag incorporated thereon. The RFID tag may be adhered to the roofing accessories.
Electronic device and method for controlling external electronic device
An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention may include an antenna module configured to sense an electromagnetic (EM) signal generated from an external electronic device, a communication module, a processor operatively connected to the antenna module and the communication module, and a memory storing instructions which, are configured to, when executed, cause the processor to identify the external electronic device based on at least part of the EM signal sensed from the external electronic device via the antenna module, identify whether the identified external electronic device is registered in a designated control application, and provide information related to the external electronic device based on whether the external electronic device is registered. In addition, other various embodiments of the present invention may be possible.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTING POTENTIAL SHRINK EVENTS VIA RFID TECHNOLOGY
Systems and methods for detecting potential shrink events via RFID technology are provided. The systems include a point of sale (POS) system that includes an optical scanner, an RFID transceiver arrangement, a user interface and a controller. The controller is configured to perform example methods disclosed herein. For example, the controller may detect that the optical scanner has decoded a barcode, trigger the RFID transceiver arrangement to write a data string to an RFID tag located within the object scanning area, conduct a detection operation to detect the RFID tag with the data string in the bagging area. Responsive to detecting the RFID tag with the data string, the method involves the user interface performing a first operation. Responsive to not detecting the RFID tag with the data string, the method involves the user interface performing a second operation.
SYSTEM FOR TRACKING AND REPORTING TOLL ROAD USAGE IN REAL TIME
The system for tracking and reporting toll road usage in real time disclosed herein may track tolling points, tolling segments, and toll assessments across multiple technologies to provide a single system that may be used universally. The system for tracking and reporting toll road usage in real time may comprise a plurality of sensors installed in a vehicle, or in a standalone module that may be installed in a vehicle, in combination with a central database for aggregating and processing the sensed information. The various sensors may include, for example, GPS-based location devices, RFID transponders and detectors, short-range wireless technology devices, inertial measurement devices, occupancy sensors, cameras, and lost mode trackers.
System and method for tracking staple fiber throughout a textile supply chain
A system and method for tracking fiber along a textile supply chain aids in product tracking and can verify fiber source/origin. However, verifying the fiber origin and type in a textile product purchased at a retail location back to the bale is complicated by the nature of textile processes along the supply chain. The system as described in the present application addresses complications, such as contamination/cross-contamination, and is used to track fiber from bales of fiber processed into a textile product throughout a sequence of textile operations. The system captures, for each textile operation, a) input information, b) output information, and c) equipment information related to the equipment used in the textile operation. The output information is associated with the input information of a subsequent textile operation, thereby associating the input information and output information, for each textile operation, with the fiber information for the bales of fiber.
Systems and methods for a connector assembly
A connector assembly is provided. The connector assembly includes a connector body, a movable component selectively movable between an uninstalled state and an installed state, a digital tag, and a digital blocker. When the movable component is moved from the uninstalled state to the installed state, the digital blocker is moved relative to the digital tag from a position where the digital tag is blocked by the digital blocker to a position where the digital tag is unblocked by the digital blocker, thereby providing a digital indication of a successful connection between the connector body and the movable component.
Product tracking and rating system using DNA tags
Material in a supply chain is tracked by a method of applying a DNA taggant set to a first batch of the material produced by a first supplier of the material. The DNA taggant set corresponds to a tag string corresponding to the first supplier. The first batch is aggregated with a second batch to create an aggregated lot. A sample is selected from the aggregated lot and tested to determine a DNA taggant set of the sample. After selecting a sample from the aggregated lot, the sample may be labeled with a grade and then placed in a receptacle corresponding to the grade.
Wireless tag communication device and sheet processing apparatus
A wireless tag communication device for communicating with a wireless tag conveyed by a conveyance mechanism, includes radiation regions from which a radio wave is emitted. The radiation regions include a first region extending along a first direction crossing a conveyance direction of the tag and having a first length in the first direction, a second region extending along the first direction and having a second length in the first direction, a third region extending along the conveyance direction and having a third length in the conveyance direction, and a fourth region extending along the conveyance direction and having a fourth length in the conveyance direction. The device further includes a controller configured to cause at least one of the first, second, third and, fourth regions to emit a polarized wave towards the tag. Each of the first and second regions partially overlaps the third and fourth regions.
