Platooning management device, system including the same, and method thereof
A platooning management device, a vehicle system including the same, and a method thereof are provided. The platooning management device includes a processor that calculates driving costs of vehicles in a platooning line, and compares the driving costs of the vehicles to determine whether it is necessary to change a location of a leading vehicle in the platooning line. When it is necessary to change the location, the processor performs location change control. A storage stores driving costs obtained by the processor and information received from the vehicles in the platooning line.
Location-based automatic compilation of charges accrued for venue provided goods/services
Technology is disclosed for automatically building an expandable invoice for incurred charges based on recognition of charge-incurring activities by persons whose specific identities are not known via the activity recognition process. A separate process detects location of sourcing and time for a Patron-presence and Patron-identifying Advertising radio Signal (P/PAS) repeatedly broadcast by a P/PAS emitter possessed by each participating patron. Records from the two processes are matched and combined based on substantial proximity in time and space for the activity recognition and the presence detection. Payment on a pay-go-whenever-ready (PGWeR) basis is enabled with use of the built invoice. A patron can pay and leave whenever ready to do so without need for intervention by an on premise staff member.
System for managing utility and waste services
A system is disclosed for managing services at a customer location. The system may have at least one offboard utility meter, a communication device, and a controller in communication with the at least one offboard utility meter via the communication device. The controller may be configured to receive information from the at least one offboard utility meter during a waste service activity at the customer location by a waste service vehicle and to determine based on the information from the at least one offboard utility meter a fee associated with at least one utility service provided at the customer location. The controller may also be configured to generate at least one invoice for the waste service activity and for the fee associated with the at least one utility service.
HIGH ACCURACY GEO-LOCATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MOBILE PAYMENT
Location polygons are defined along traffic lanes and parking spaces to facilitate determination of the location of a vehicle relative to features associated with the location polygons. The location polygons are used, in one application, to identity entrance and exit of a special toll lane along a roadway, and to ensure that the vehicle properly enters and exits the tolling lane. The location polygons define geofenced regions, and each definition for a geofenced region can include one or more rules that are used to evaluate location information reported by a user’s equipment. The rules dictate whether an action it taken or inhibited, such as charging a toll or not charging a toll, based on other location information reported by the user’s equipment.
System and method for ordering and facilitating payment of a print product including a digital image
A computer-implemented method programmed for execution in a computing environment for ordering and facilitating payment of a print product. The method comprises storing a digital image in a memory of the computing system; allowing for the selection of a print product using a user interface to establish a print order, wherein the print product includes the digital image, and wherein the print order includes an identification of the selected print product and an order cost; generating a unique payment link by the processor that corresponds to the print order and provides a user computing device with access to communicate payment information to a remote payment processing system; providing access to the unique payment link to the user computing device; receiving a payment notification at the processor from the remote payment processing system; and allowing for the fulfillment of at least a portion of the print order using a printing device.
Parking guidance system of parking lot provided with charging device for vehicle and parking guidance method using the same
A parking guidance system of a parking lot includes: a first license plate number recognizing device recognizing a license plate number of a vehicle entering or exiting from a parking lot; and a server classifying a priority of the vehicle and distinguishing whether the vehicle is a parking or charging use vehicle based on the license plate number, assigning a parking or charging spot based on at least one of the classified priority, information on whether the vehicle is the parking use vehicle or the charging use vehicle, or information on remaining parking spots and remaining charging spots, providing a guidance on a position of the assigned parking spot or charging spot to the vehicle until the vehicle arrives at the position, and determining a parking fee or a charging fee of the vehicle and providing a guidance on the fee when the vehicle exits the parking lot.
TELEHEALTH INTERACTION TRACKING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A method for tracking duration of a remote telehealth encounter between a user computing device and a provider computing device via one or more computer networks is provided. The method includes receiving, at a telehealth control system, a signal from at least one of the user computing device or the provider computing device to initiate the remote telehealth encounter via the one or more networks, and tracking a duration of the remote telehealth encounter while both the user computing device and the provider computing device are connected to each other via the first encounter modality. The method also includes determining whether the remote telehealth encounter has ended, ending tracking of the duration of the remote telehealth encounter responsive to determining that the remote telehealth encounter has ended, and identifying a billing code based on the duration of the remote telehealth encounter.
SYSTEM FOR COLLECTING WEEKLY PAYMENTS FROM A CUSTOMER, HOLDING THOSE WEEKLY PAYMENTS IN ESCROW, AND THEN MAKING MONTHLY LOAN PAYMENTS TOWARD THE CUSTOMER'S AUTO LOAN USING THE ESCROWED PAYMENTS
The Max AllowanceⓇ system is an on-line system that connects customers seeking to sell/trade an automobile with auto-dealers seeking to purchase used automobiles. By utilizing the “retail-down, considerate cash offer” approach of the on-line system, auto-dealers are able to formulate an offer for the customers’ automobile(s) that serves to entice them to contact the auto-dealers because said offer is more considered than offers generated using the common “wholesale-up” approach. The MAX AllowanceⓇ system gives auto-dealers confidence that they will be able to compare online disclosure against in-person vehicle inspection condition and improve their percentage of vehicle acquisitions while maintaining a desired amount of profit upon resale of the acquired vehicles. Depending on how a customer has entered into the system, multiple auto-dealers may provide offers to the customer, enhancing the customer’s confidence that the offers received are fair, further enticing the customer to contact the auto-dealers that provided the offers.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF CROSS-UTILITY CREDITING
Implementations of the disclosed subject matter may provide systems and methods of providing energy from a community solar energy generating system to a customer. The customer may have an account with a first energy utility, and the community solar energy generating system may be associated with a second energy utility. The first energy utility may be located in a first geographic area and both the community solar energy generating system and the second energy utility are located in a second geographic area. An allocation of energy produced by a community solar energy generating system may be determined for the customer based on energy usage based on the received utility account information, an energy output of the community solar energy generating system, and a credit rate. Information about the determined energy allocation and the credit rates may be shared between the second energy utility and the first energy utility.
