Augmented pre-paid cards, systems and methods
Pre-paid transaction card systems and methods are described. A transaction system can include a transaction database to store transaction objects that represent characteristics of a pre-paid transaction card. A deal engine communicatively coupled with the transaction database can receive an image of a marker-less portion of the transaction card and derive a set of image descriptors from the marker-less portion. The deal engine can also identify transaction characteristics associated with the card from the transaction database using the image descriptors. In addition, the deal engine can construct a deal recommendation based on the transaction characteristics previously identified. The deal recommendation can be transmitted to a user, and in some cases, displayed to the user as an augmented reality image.
EXPRESS CREDENTIAL TRANSACTION SYSTEM
A device implementing an express credential transaction system includes at least one processor configured to receive an indication that a payment applet for a service provider has been provisioned on a secure element of the device with a first attribute indicating that the payment applet can be utilized for a transaction without authentication associated with the transaction. The processor is configured to set the first attribute of the payment applet to indicate that authentication is required to utilize the payment applet when another payment applet for the service provider provisioned on the secure element of the device has an attribute that indicates the other payment applet can be utilized for the transaction without user authentication. The at least one processor is configured to control whether the user authentication is requested when utilizing the payment applet or the other payment applet, respectively, in transactions.
Systems and methods for redeeming rewards for cash at an ATM for credit only customers
The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for redeeming financial rewards for cash at an ATM. A customer inputs financial account credentials into an ATM, and these credentials are relayed to a financial institution computing system. The financial institution computing system then authenticates the customer by determining whether the input credentials match credentials stored in a database associated with the financial institution computing system. Once the customer is authenticated, the financial institution computing system polls the customer database and determines whether the customer has earned any rewards through usage of the financial account. Any available rewards are converted to a cash value and transmitted back to the ATM for view by the customer. Upon receipt of a customer indication that they wish to redeem the reward, the ATM is then configured to dispense the converted reward amount to the customer.
COMPUTING SYSTEM IMPLEMENTING RESERVATION MONITORING AND SHARED FUND TRANSACTION PROCESSING
A computer system can implement a network transaction service through communications with computing devices of users of the service, a reservation store of registered businesses, and point-of-sale terminals of the registered businesses. The computer system can access the reservation store to detect a reservation made by a respective user of the network transaction service with a selected business. The computer system can then receive a request made by the respective user to utilize the network transaction service at a merchant location of the selected business within a predetermined threshold after a reservation time. The computer system can then receive transaction data from a point-of-sale terminal of the selected business, fund the transaction using a shared funding account of the network transaction service, and transfer funds from a customer account of the respective user to the shared funding account in an amount corresponding to the transaction.
SYSTEMS FOR PROVIDING AND PROCESSING SURPRISE CONDITIONAL GIFTS
A method for providing a gift includes receiving gift information comprising data indicative of a gift type, a maximum gift amount, a gift recipient, and a first financial account from a first computing device associated with a gifter and via a software application. The first financial account being associated with the gifter and the gift recipient having preregistered user account with the software application. The method includes identifying one or more recipient financial accounts associated with the gift recipient including at least a second financial account. The method includes identifying a gift-eligible transaction that is associated with the second financial account by monitoring transaction data associated with the one or more recipient financial accounts. The method includes transmitting a gift notification to a second computing device and outputting an instruction to initiate a transfer of a gift amount from the first financial account to the second financial account.
System and method for facilitating virtual gift giving
A system for facilitating virtual gifting of goods or services over a communications network includes: a) a first client module configured for purchasing a virtual gift for a recipient, b) a second client module configured for receiving and viewing the purchased virtual gift from the server, over the communications network; c) a third client module configured for receiving a wireless signal for the recipient from the second client module and viewing the purchased virtual gift, and d) a web server module configured for processing electronic payment for the purchased virtual gift with a payment gateway, transmitting the purchased virtual gift to the second client module, and transmitting a confirmation of payment for the purchased virtual gift to a brick and mortar outlet, wherein the purchased virtual gift is configured for redemption at said brick and mortar outlet.
GIFT CARD CONVERSION AND DIGITAL WALLET
A method and a system convert the value of a gift card for use with a mobile device. The value of the gift card is determined from an issuer of the gift card. The value of the gift card is stored in a digital payment account in a storage device. The digital payment account stores values of gift cards from issuers. A financial transaction corresponding to the issuer of the gift card is performed on the digital payment account. The value of a first gift card from a first issuer of a first digital payment account is exchanged with the value of a second gift card from a second issuer of a second digital payment account.
PLAY MY BILL RETAIL LOTTERY GAME
A computer-implemented method for providing a lottery game including providing a lottery ticket for purchase; processing a purchase of the lottery ticket, wherein the lottery ticket was part of a purchase transaction comprising at least one good or service and the lottery ticket; and communicating a result of a lottery game comprising the lottery ticket.
