FINANCIAL CARD WITH DYNAMIC VIEWING ANGLES TO BLOCK CARD INFORMATION
A method and system of making a secure financial card with dynamic viewing angles is provided. The secure financial card includes a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The financial card includes at least a first portion of indicia and a second portion of the indicia indicative of the card information. The first portion of the indicia and the second portion of the indicia are configured with respective viewing angles and printed on one of the first surface and the second surface. The financial card includes a slide device moveable to different positions associated with different portions of indicia. The slide device allows the respective portion of the indicia to be viewable from different viewing angles. An account number of the financial card is read by rotating the financial card and full card information is unable to be captured by an image of the financial card.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FACILITATING PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS
A method for facilitating payment transactions includes receiving a transaction request for a payment transaction initiated at a payment terminal device using a transaction card of a user. A predefined category of the user is identified based on the transaction request and a service application is remotely activated in a first operation mode on a user device of the user such that the first operation mode is associated with the identified predefined category. Payment transaction messages associated with the payment transaction are communicated to the activated service application, which translates the payment transaction messages to a predefined message format. In response to the payment transaction messages, first authentication information is received from the activated service application such that the first authentication information is entered by the user in the predefined message format. The payment transaction is processed based on successful authentication of the user.
Process for managing escrow payments between multiple parties
A distributed project management system especially suited for construction projects and administered by third party Application Service provider (ASP) in communication with a plurality of remote client computers and providing a dashboard to each party including a general contractor dashboard that facilitates development of a smart contract based on a project template. Each party's dashboard is configured to review, negotiate and accept the project template, whereupon the ASP compiles it into a distributed private blockchain transaction ledger that is updated based on communications from the various dashboards. The ASP determines whether transactions meet a condition of the smart contract, and updates and validates the distributed transaction record ledger. All notices, reports, disbursements, and fund transfers necessary to pay all of the subcontractors and contractor are completed electronically. The process is condensed from months into mere days, it eliminates unreliable verbal notifications, and is impervious to fraud and/or mistake.
Computing system implementing a network transaction service
A computer system can determine a set of merchant locations utilizing a network transaction service within a vicinity of a user based on position information from the computing device of the user. The system can generate a user interface to present the set of locations to the user. The system can receive a transaction request from the user and automatically execute a transaction process using a shared funding account of the network transaction service to fulfill the request.
System and method for merchant and personal transactions using mobile identification credential
In an example involving a transaction conducted between a first party using a user mobile-identification-credential device (UMD) and a second party using a relying party system (RPS), RPS receives a request from UMD for transfer of an item, requests identification information of the first party from UMD, receives, based on consent of the first party, some or all user ID information associated with a mobile identification credential (MIC) which UMD received from an authorizing party system (APS), receives verification of the received user ID information, uses the verified user ID information to verify or not verify an identity of the first party, grants the request to transfer the item in exchange for payment or another item to be transferred from the first party to the second party when the identity of the first party is verified, and denies the request when the identity of the first party is not verified.
BANKNOTE WITH PROCESSOR
The invention relates to a banknote (100) having a processor (124) and a memory (120). An identification number (116) of the banknote (100) is stored in the memory (120) of the security element (102) and identifies an anonymous banknote account managed by a central bank (220) issuing the banknote (100) and individually assigned to the corresponding banknote (100). A banknote-specific cryptographic key (118) is stored in a protected memory area (122) of the memory (120). A payment method executed with the banknote (100) comprises: receiving a payment request for a payment with the banknote (100), generating a payment-specific cryptogram for authorising the payment with the banknote (100), wherein the cryptogram is generated from the identification number (116) of the banknote (100) and a payment-specific code as input values using the banknote-specific cryptographic key (118), sending a payment authorisation comprising the payment-specific cryptogram.
Multi-function electronic payment card and device system
Embodiments include multi-function electronic payment card and device systems capable of generating a programmed magnetic field of alternating polarity based on a speed of a card swipe, and methods for constructing the device for the purpose of emulating a standard credit card. An apparatus is described to allow the device to emulate behavior of a credit card when used in electronic credit card readers. Additionally methods are described to allow user control of the device for the purpose of authorizing or controlling use of the device in the application of credit, debit and cash transactions, including cryptocurrency and card-to-card transactions. Methods are also described for generating a limited-duration credit card number when performing a transaction for the purpose of creating a limited-use credit card number, which is limited in scope of use to a predetermined number of authorized transactions. Furthermore the device may interact with other similar devices in proximity for the purpose of funds or credit/debit transfers.
Automatic storage of electronic receipts across merchants and transaction cards
The present technology pertains to storing transaction information for transactions with merchants in association with an identifier of a buyer, and transmitting an electronic receipt, including the transaction information to the buyer. The present technology includes a system and methods for associating a transaction card number with the user identifier of the buyer, such that the transaction information can be associated with the user identifier of the buyer even when the merchant does not receive the transaction card number or the user identifier of the buyer.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USING A TRANSACTION TO COLLECT ADDITIONAL TRANSACTION INFORMATION
Disclosed are systems and methods for using a transaction to collect additional transaction information. The method may include: receiving transaction information indicating that a transaction of one or more products and/or services has been made by a user from a merchant; when the transaction information is received, scanning a user e-mail account to identify a receipt for the transaction within an e-mail of the user e-mail account, wherein the receipt is indicative of a transaction price; when the receipt for the transaction is identified: extracting information of the one or more products and/or services from the receipt; and based on the extracted information, automatically generating and submitting a price adjustment claim for the one or more products and/or services when a price lower than the transaction price is found; and when the receipt for the transaction cannot be identified: automatically submitting information about a missing receipt to a fraud system.
Use of mobile identification credential in merchant and personal transactions
