TRANSACTION PROCESSING USING OPTICALLY ENCODED INFORMATION
A computer-implemented method for providing payment account information in a user account by receiving payment card information by a card reader at a point of sale. An account can be created when the payment card information is read by the card reader. Optionally, a gift card can be scanned prior to the creation of the account, and the gift card information can be combined with the payment card information. The gift card can be an electronic gift card which can be personalized with textual, visual, video, and/or audio portions.
Kiosk gift card system and method
A gift card system and method for purchasing gift cards at a kiosk is disclosed. The system/method includes a gift card distribution kiosk located at a retail establishment that provides a user with access to a multitude of different forms of gift cards that may be purchased and printed onto a customizable card with a personalized message. The kiosk includes a kiosk processor interface, a gift card dispenser, a card reader and gift card management server connected to a network. The gift card management server, through the kiosk processor interface, provides vendor options to users to select and pay via the card reader. In another embodiment, the kiosk is used to redeem unused user gift cards for a reduced value user selected gift card, reduced cash value, full value store card, rewards points, bank debit, and/or electronic code user towards online purchases.
MODIFYING A USER INTERFACE TO MAKE A CARD ASSOCIATED WITH AN ENTITY AVAILABLE AT A RELEVANT TIME
In some implementations, a device may detect that the web page is associated with an exchange associated with an entity. The device may transmit, to a server, web page information that identifies at least one of the entity associated with the web page, or an amount of the exchange associated with the entity. The device may receive, from the server, presentation information that identifies card information for one or more cards that are associated with the entity. Card information may identify information associated with resources associated with the card. The device may modify the document used to generate the web page based on the presentation information to cause the card information for the one or more cards to be provided for display via the web page. The device may display the web page based on modifying the document used to generate the web page.
Using transaction data from first transaction for second transaction
A computer-implemented method for providing payment account information in a user account by receiving payment card information by a card reader at a point of sale. An account can be created when the payment card information is read by the card reader. Optionally, a gift card can be scanned prior to the creation of the account, and the gift card information can be combined with the payment card information. The gift card can be an electronic gift card which can be personalized with textual, visual, video, and/or audio portions.
Systems and methods for point-of-sale-based offer redemption
Systems and methods for issuance of individualized promotional offers that can only be redeemed for purchase of specified items are disclosed. The promotional offers are only valid when they are used to purchase certain items. If an attempt to use the promotional offer is made and an authorized product is not part of the purchase transaction, the promotional offer will not be useable. Instead, the operator of the point-of-sale device that receives the promotional offer will not be able to validate the promotional offer. The validation of the promotional offer (when a correct item is part of the purchase) or lack thereof (when a correct item is not part of the purchase) occurs entirely at the point of sale, without requiring a point-of-sale device to communicate externally with any systems or devices to receive instructions relating to which products are authorized for use with the promotional offers.
COMPUTER-BASED SYSTEMS AND DEVICE CONFIGURED FOR TEMPORARY ELECTRONIC ACCOUNT LINKING TO DISPOSABLE TAGS AND METHODS THEREOF
Systems and methods of the present disclosure processors and devices for providing disposable account cards using a contactless reader and contactless communication tag. A processor receives, via an antenna module from the contactless reader, radio signal data of a radio signal emitted by a contactless tag, where the radio signal data includes encoded tag data including a tag identifier. The processor determines that the contactless tag is a new contactless tag based on the tag identifier being unlinked to any account, and generates a disposable account card identifier in a user account including a unique disposable account number. The processor generates an account link that links the tag identifier to the disposable account card identifier such that the tag identifier refers to the unique disposable account number for performing contactless electronic requests to the user account in place of a user account card.
Angle adjustable coulter wheel assembly
An angle adjustable coulter wheel assembly includes a rotatable shank having a longitudinal axis defined by an upper portion of the shank. The longitudinal axis is oriented neither vertically or horizontally with respect to the ground when the assembly is mounted on a tillage apparatus. A coulter wheel rotatably mounted on the shank proximate a lower portion of the shank. An actuator rotates the upper portion of the shank about the longitudinal axis to cause the face of the coulter wheel to rotate about three orthogonal axes thereby changing orientation of the face of the coulter wheel with respect to the ground when the assembly is on the tillage apparatus. The coulter wheel assembly permits adjusting the angle of the coulter wheel in at least two planes permitting greater control over how much soil the coulter wheel disturbs during tilling.
Enablement of enhanced authorization decisions of purchases including stored value products
A method and system include identifying at least one stored value product is included in a purchase transaction; calculating an amount of stored value on the stored value product; receiving, by a computer from a merchant device, a payment authorization request for the purchase transaction via a payment card product; transmitting information associated with the stored value product to an issuer of the payment card product. Numerous other aspects are provided.
SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR ENHANCED AUTHORIZATION OF PREPAID CARDS
A computer-implemented method for enhancing authorization of prepaid payment cards is provided. The method is implemented using an interchange network and an authorization computing device in communication with a memory. The method includes routing communications between a plurality of merchants and a plurality of issuing banks, providing transaction data for transactions by a plurality of prepaid payment cards, storing a plurality of transaction histories associated with the plurality of prepaid payment cards, receiving, over the interchange network, an authorization request for a payment transaction between a cardholder and an originating merchant initiated using a prepaid payment card, determining a likelihood of a second amount for a related payment transaction from the originating merchant, determining a transaction history associated with the prepaid payment card, determining whether there are sufficient funds associated with the prepaid payment card for the first and second amounts, and notifying the originating merchant of the determination.
