SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING GIFTS
Disclosed are systems and methods for processing gift transactions. An example method includes receiving an identification of a first merchant from a giver at a first time, wherein a gift from the giver to a recipient is redeemable at the first merchant. The method can include generating a policy comprising the first merchant. The policy can be at least in part giver-defined and linked to the recipient payment account. The method can then include transmitting an electronic notice to a recipient device, receiving a selection from the recipient of a second merchant at which to redeem the gift from the giver, updating the policy to apply to the second merchant selected by the recipient to yield an updated policy and, upon receiving an indication of a triggering event caused by use of the recipient payment account as defined by the updated policy, applying an amount of money to the gift.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANAGING THE DISTRIBUTION OF AID OR BENEFITS INVOLVING MULTIPLE PARTNERS SHARING AN INFRASTRUCTURE
A method for managing programs associated with multiple entities on a payment card includes: storing lease profiles, each lease profile including a lease identifier, managing identifier, transaction account numbers, and one or more tenant identifiers; receiving a management request, the management request including a specific lease identifier, specific managing identifier, and requesting tenant identifier; identifying a specific lease profile that includes the specific lease identifier; verifying that the specific managing identifier corresponds to the managing identifier included in the specific lease profile; inserting the requesting tenant identifier into the specific lease profile; receiving a program request, the request including the specific lease identifier, the requesting tenant identifier, and program data; and transmitting the program data to a payment card corresponding to one of the transaction account numbers included in the specific lease profile.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TRACKING OF NON-WAGERING ACCOUNT ASSOCIATED WITH GAMING ENVIRONMENT
Systems and methods are disclosed for associating a player identifier with a financial account. The financial account can holds funds that are accessible through the player's use of a payment vehicle. Information associated with transactions using the payment vehicle can be used for player relationship purposes.
Peer-to-peer prepaid card management system
A method for peer-to-peer prepaid card accounts can create a prepaid card that can receive donations through a QR code disposed on the physical card. Restrictions can also be placed on the card to control where or how the funds may be used. The method can, in response to receiving a request at a card management service to create an account, obtain account information, wherein the account information comprises a user name, an account number, a QR code image, and optionally a biometric data. The account information can be stored as a card account for the user, which is funded by receiving a payment from a second party using the QR code. Then, when a card holder uses the card for a transaction, the card management service can function as an issuer to authorize its use.
Substituted pyrazines as inhibitors of BTK, and mutants thereof
The disclosure includes compounds of Formula (I) ##STR00001## wherein Q.sub.1, Q.sub.2, Q.sub.3, W, X, Y, Z.sub.1, m, n, Warhead, R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, and R.sub.5, are defined herein. Also disclosed is a method for treating a neoplastic disease, autoimmune disease, and inflammatory disorder with these compounds.
BATTERYLESS PAYMENT DEVICE WITH WIRELESSLY POWERED TOKEN PROVISIONING
A batteryless payment device is disclosed. According to certain embodiments, the batteryless payment device may include a first communication system and a second communication system, the second communication system being a near-field-communication (NFC) system. The batteryless payment device may also include a power receiver coupled to the first communication system and configured to wirelessly receive power from an external device for powering the first communication system. The batteryless payment device may further include a controller configured to: when the first communication system is powered, establish, via the first communication system, a first wireless connection with a user device; receive, through the first wireless communication, a token from the user device; establish, via the second communication system, a second wireless connection with a payment terminal; and transmit, through the second wireless connection, the token to the payment terminal.
System and method for remote production of financial instruments
Financial instruments are produced at a remote location by a 3D printer. In one embodiment, a request is made for a financial instrument, such as a prepaid gift instrument, by user system(s) at the remote location(s). The user system(s) may be at one or more of a retailer location, a money transfer agent location, or an instrument holder or recipient location (such as at an instrument holder/recipient's residence). An instrument issuer may transmit a print file to a user system which may in turn provide the print file to the 3D printer in order to produce the instrument. At least of a portion of the print file may be rendered unusable at the user system after being provided to or used by the 3D printer, in order to prevent use of the print file to produce unauthorized copies of the instrument.
Universal transponder
An account is managed using information read from a dual frequency transponder. Information stored on the dual frequency transponder can be read by a NFC-enabled device and by a UHF RFID reader. The information links, corresponds, or otherwise provides access to account information stored at a remote server. For example, a NFC-enabled device can read the information from the dual frequency transponder and use that information to enable instant and on-the-spot recharging of a toll account. In addition, a UHF RFID toll reader can scan information from the dual frequency transponder and use that information to debit toll charges from the correct toll account. The dual frequency transponder can be embedded in a license plate and read using a reader placed in the road. Additionally, the transponder can be configured to function at the correct frequency only when a valid vehicle registration sticker is applied to the license plate.
Apparatus and Methods for Generating Account Creation Information
In an embodiment, an apparatus for generating account creation information is provided. The apparatus comprises: a computer processor and a data storage device, the data storage device having a look-up module; a value determination module; and an account creation information generation module comprising non-transitory instructions operative by the processor to: receive an indication of a travel document of a passenger; look up passenger details of the passenger, in a passenger information database coupled to the apparatus, using the indication of the travel document of the passenger; receive an indication of a currency deposit by the passenger; determine a value from the indication of the currency deposit; and generate account creation information, the account creation information comprising an indication of the passenger details of the passenger and an indication of the value.
