Thermo-Sensitive Payment Card
Technology is described for providing and using a thermo-sensitive payment card. An example payment card comprises a card substrate and a personalization layer overlaying the card substrate. The personalization layer includes a first region and a second region surrounding the first region. The first region includes an account number associated with an account of a user, and the account of the user is maintained by a payment service system that issues the payment card. At least one of the first region or the second region comprises a thermochromic ink such that application of heat to the first region or the second region having the thermochromic ink causes a change in color of the personalization layer so as to reveal the account number.
MEDICAL TEST RESULTS AND IDENTITY AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system and method that enables users to provide authenticated medical records (e.g., vaccination records, viral anti-body test results, etc.) to a third-party (e.g., a venue) to gain access to the third-party is provided. In this way, the third party may confirm that the user is sufficiently immune to a particular disease (e.g., COVID-19) and may thereby minimize the threat of the user introducing the contagious disease to the third party. The system includes a biometric data recognition system that authenticates the identity of a user, a medical records acquisition system that acquires the medical records of the authenticated user, and a system for the displaying or otherwise providing the medical records to the third-party for review. The system also includes a system identification card that includes the user's contact information, alphanumeric characters associated with the user's driver's license number, medical records of the user, and other elements.
SYSTEM, METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIA FOR PROVIDING REFERRALS
Systems, methods, and computer products for providing referrals are disclosed. A user accesses a referral service website or application and creates a user account. The user is verified to provide referrals. The verification is sent to a communications unit, which sends a message to the user requesting the user complete a single step to provide a new referral for a business for a category of goods or services wherein the single step comprises providing a response selected from not more than two available response options. The user account is updated to include the new referral.
COMPUTER-BASED SYSTEMS AND METHODS INVOLVING BIOMETRIC AUTHENTICATION ASPECTS FOR HANDLING EXCEPTIONS, ENABLING DEACTIVATION AND/OR PERFORMING OTHER FUNCTIONALITY
Systems and methods involving biometric authentication of transaction cards including aspects of exception handling, deactivation and other features are disclosed. In one embodiment, an exemplary implementation may involve generating a first user interface having one or more interactive UI elements that enable a card owner to manage a plurality of features associated with a transaction card, and determining, if a biometric-activated control is enabled and the vendor is not excluded from the biometric-activated control, whether the transaction card is biometrically-active. Further, the interactive UI elements may include elements such as a first UI element that is configured to allow the card owner to enable a biometric-activated control of the transaction card, and/or a second UI element that is configured to allow the card owner to exclude one or more vendors from the biometric-activated control.
APPLETS FOR CONTACTLESS CARD ACTIVATION
Contactless cards, apparatuses, computer-readable media, and methods for activating a contactless card. A contactless card may communicate, to a client device via a wireless communications interface, a network address associated with a web page. The contactless card may generate a cryptogram responsive to a request from the web page on the client device. The contactless card may communicate the cryptogram to the web page via the wireless communications interface. The contactless card may receive, from the web page, an instruction to activate a payment applet of the contactless card. The contactless card may activate the payment applet based on the instruction.
SERVER-SIDE CONTACTLESS CARD ACTIVATION
Systems, apparatuses, computer-readable media, and methods for activating a contactless card. A server may transmit, to a web browser on a client device, a web page. The server may receive, from the web browser, a request to activate a contactless card, the request including a cryptogram. The server may decrypt the cryptogram based on a key associated with the contactless card. The server may transition, based on the decryption of the cryptogram, the contactless card from an inactive payment state to an active payment state. The server may transmit, to the web page and based on the transition of the contactless card from the inactivated payment state to the activated payment state, an indication to activate a payment applet of the contactless card.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANAGING VIRTUAL ELECTRONIC CARD, SECURE CHIP, TERMINAL AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A method for managing a virtual electronic card is applicable to a secure chip installed in a first terminal, and the method includes: receiving a management request from a trusted mobile application on the first terminal, the management request being used to manage a target virtual electronic card on the secure chip, and permissions of the virtual electronic card being configured by a chip operating system of the secure chip; determining, from the secure chip, a target card management program corresponding to the target virtual electronic card, the different virtual electronic cards corresponding to the different card management programs; sending the management request to the target card management program; and calling, through the target card management program, a card management command corresponding to the management request in a card management system on the secure chip, to manage the target virtual electronic card.
Web-based activation of contactless cards
Systems, methods, articles of manufacture, and computer-readable media. A computing device may wirelessly receive a network address for a resource from a contactless card that is in an inactivated payment state. A web browser executing on the computing device may access the resource at the network address. The resource in the web browser may operate a card reader of the computing device to receive a cryptogram from the contactless card. The resource in the web browser may transmit the cryptogram to a server. The resource in the web browser may receive, from the server, a response specifying that the contactless card has been transitioned from the inactivated payment state to an activated payment state.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SECONDARY MERCHANT CARD DELIVERY
A computing system for secondary merchant card delivery is provided. The computing system may include a processor coupled to a memory to execute secondary merchant card delivery using a secondary merchant card delivery agent of a mobile unit and a merchant card system of an ATM machine in communication with a networked server node. The processor may be operable to receive a user request using the merchant card agent and to send the user request to a server having a merchant card module. In addition, the processor may be operable to initiate a first security protocol and to generate, in response to verified security approval, a merchant card profile. Further, the processor may be operable to send the merchant card profile to the ATM merchant card system, whereby the processor is operable to generate a signal for initiation of generation of the secondary merchant card and dispense the same to the user.
