Methods, systems and computer program products for identity authentication for payment card based payment transactions
The invention provides methods, systems and computer program products for identity authentication for payment card based payment transactions. A payment card may be configured for payor identity authentication for the purpose of an electronic payment transaction(s), and may comprise (i) sensors to measure card handling parameters, (ii) an authentication signature generator, configured to generate and store a biometric identity signature associated with an authorized cardholder—which signature is based on a first set of card handling parameter data received from the sensors, (iii) a card handling data comparator configured to receive a second set of card handling parameter data from the sensors, retrieve the biometric identity signature associated with the authorized cardholder, and compare the second set of card handling parameter data with data extracted from the retrieved biometric identity signature, and (iv) an authentication decision generator configured to generate an identity authentication decision based on the comparison.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USING INTELLIGENT CODES TO ADD A STORED-VALUE CARD TO AN ELECTRONIC WALLET
A method comprises receiving a request to add a stored-value card to an electronic wallet via interpreting an intelligent code which directs a user to a URL for an electronic wallet website; prompting a user for credentials to enter the electronic wallet website; determining whether the stored-value card already exists in the electronic wallet; and adding the stored-value card to the electronic wallet. A system comprises a computer device to receive a request to add a stored-value card to an electronic wallet via interpreting an intelligent code which directs a user to a URL for an electronic wallet website; to prompt a user for credentials to enter the electronic wallet website, to determine possession of the stored-value card, to determine whether the stored-value card already exists in the electronic wallet, and to add the stored-value card to the electronic wallet.
CARD-PERSONALIZATION SYSTEM
A personalized card may be generated using a card-personalization system accessible via multiple access points on a network. In some aspects, the personalized card may include a physical card having an image selected by a user in a card-personalization process. The user may be assigned a code that may both authenticate the user to access the card-personalization system and identify a position of the user in the card-personalization process. The card-personalization process may include a selection process for selecting an image, an approval process for approving the image, and a creation process for generating the personalized card including the image.
SINGLE PAYMENT DEVICE FOR MULTIPLE PAYMENT ACCOUNTS
A payment device including a medium is disclosed. A first programmable chip and a first magnetic stripe are disposed on the medium. The first programmable chip and the first magnetic stripe are associated with a first payment account. A second programmable chip and a second magnetic stripe are disposed on the medium. The second programmable chip and the second magnetic stripe are associated with a second payment account. The first and second programmable chips are programmed separately for each of the first and second payment accounts.
System and method for universal card acceptance
A method, electronic device, and non-transitory computer readable medium for transmitting information is provided. The method includes creating a card network account for each card network of a plurality of card networks. The method also includes associating with a digital card the created card network accounts and providing to at least one of the card network accounts an account balance of the digital card. Additionally, the method includes receiving, from a mobile device, a selection of the digital card to conduct a transaction at a location. The method also includes providing a suggested card network, determined from the plurality of card networks, to the mobile device, to conduct the transaction. The suggested card network is based in part on which card networks accepted at the location. The method also includes updating the account balance of the digital card on completion of the transaction.
Systems and methods for contact card customization
Systems and methods for contact card customization. More specifically, the systems and methods herein leverage authentication protocols and the branded indicators for message identification (BIMI) protocol to allow organizations to display customized contact card information in their sent messages. As such, the systems and methods provide customizable, dynamic, and secure contact cards that can distinguish between an individual and an organization unlike previously utilized contact card systems and methods.
COMMODITY TRADE VALUE TRANSACTION SYSTEM, AND A COMMODITY TRADE VALUE TRANSACTION METHOD
The present invention discloses a commodity trade value transaction system and a commodity trade value transaction method that provides alternative payments means to customer purchasing goods.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ENCODING IC CHIPS FOR PAYMENT OBJECTS
A system for encoding IC chip modules for inclusion in payment objects is provided. The system includes a flexible substrate supportably interconnected to a plurality of IC chip modules an one or more interfaces for encoding data on the plurality of IC chip modules, wherein the data encoded by the one or more interfaces includes data associated with an issuer payment institution. A positioner is configured to engage with the flexible substrate to position the plurality of IC chip modules relative to the one or more interfaces. At least one controller is configured to provide position control signals to the positioner for positioning the IC chip modules relative to the one or more interfaces and to provide encoding control signals to the one or more interfaces to encode the data on the plurality of IC chip modules.
System, Device and Method for Executing a Digital Wallet Application
The system comprises a user electronic device (200). A processor of the device (200) executes a digital wallet application associated with at least one digitised transaction card. The device (200) obtains user preference information in relation to the digital wallet application (S604); communicates the user preference information to a management server (300, S605); receives, from the management server (300), a notification command for the digital wallet application (S614). The notification command is determined according to the user preference information, and determines the audible and/or haptic feedback to be provided in relation to the digitised transaction card. The user electronic device (200) controls an audio and/or haptic output unit of the device to provide, when the digital wallet application is executed, audible and/or haptic feedback according to the notification command in response to the digitised transaction card being selected and/or used for a transaction.
Dynamic modification of a verification method associated with a transaction card
A device may determine that a verification method associated with a transaction card is to be modified from a first verification method to a second verification method. The first verification method and the second verification method may use different types of verification information. The device may provide a set of instructions to the transaction card after determining that the verification method is to be modified. The set of instructions may cause the transaction card to modify the verification method from the first verification method to the second verification method. The device may provide information identifying a modification to the verification method to a transaction backend device to notify the transaction backend device that the verification method associated with the transaction card has been modified from the first verification method to the second verification method.
