DATA COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
20220327170 · 2022-10-13 ·

The present invention relates to systems for communicating data. In particular, systems for communicating data to and from mobile devices are described. One system involves the use of a server to store the association between a shortcode and the data. A user device can be used to transmit the shortcode to a second user device. The second user device can then access the association at the server to access the data. The shortcode is transmitted via an audibly unique signal between the two devices. Further devices, systems, and methods for redeeming vouchers, transferring money, unlocking content on a device, and authenticating transactions all using audio are also disclosed. A method for managing data communication on a mobile device is further disclosed. In addition, a system for asynchronous transmission of the data is disclosed by use of reserving a shortcode at a server before the shortcode is associated with data.

Smart Contracts for Assessing Truth on a Blockchain

Disclosed is a system and method for associating endorsers with articles on by querying a smart contract on a blockchain. The invention establishes an assessor account for an assessor in an assessment database. The assessor account includes assessment attributes of an assessor. An article record is established for an article in the smart contract on a blockchain. The article record includes a URI, an article status from said assessor, and an association between the article record and the assessor account. The system responds to a request from an article viewer in which the request includes the URI of the article by querying the smart contract, determining if the URI supplied is associated with an article record, and if so, returning to the article viewer a response that includes the article status.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING DIGITAL COUPONS

A processor is programmed with instructions to receive coupon data from a program creator. The coupon data defines a coupon and/or coupon program. The processor creates a first unique coupon program ID for the coupon data and writes the first unique coupon program ID and the coupon data to a database table. The processor transmits the first unique coupon program ID to the program creator. The processor also receives, from a user computing device, a coupon request message. The coupon request message includes a second unique coupon program ID. The processor extracts the second unique coupon program ID, retrieves the first unique coupon program ID, and matches the second unique coupon program ID to the first unique coupon program ID. Based on the matching, the processor generates a digital coupon token and transmits the digital coupon token to the user computing device via the communications interface.

A rewarding point accumulating method, comprising: receiving a customer id code and transaction information from a vendor device; verifying the received customer id code; updating rewarding point information of a customer according to the customer id code and the transaction information; updating rewarding point information of a vendor according to the transaction information, wherein the vendor is corresponding to the vendor device; and notifying the vendor device with regard to the updating of the rewarding point information of the vendor.

System and method for location-based secured transfer of a service associated with a loyalty point between mobile devices
11625744 · 2023-04-11 · ·

There are provided systems and methods for the location-based secured transfer of a service associated with a loyalty point between mobile devices. A first mobile device submits a services request to a central system, the request identifying a service and inclusive of the position (geographical location) of the first mobile device. The central system identifies service providers capable of fulfilling the request and account owners having sufficient loyalty points to fulfill the request that are in proximity to the first mobile device. Secure communications between the first mobile device and a second mobile device enable negotiations. The central system guides the first mobile device and the second mobile device to a predetermined location to enable secure communication of transaction information, payment information, personal information (needed to procure services), etc. The central system verifies the transaction, ensuring both the first and second mobile devices fulfill the agreed upon terms.

Techniques are described for automatically extracting items from a user's browse history on one or more e-commerce websites, and automatically searching other e-commerce websites and sources for offers (including coupons, deals, and/or promotions) for those items and/or related items and/or stores. Such automated techniques allow users to gain the benefit of online offers from various sources, without having to go through the effort of manually searching for such offers. Instead, the system and method automatically locate such offers based on the user's browse history, without requiring any action to be taken on the part of the user.

System and method for exchanging dynamically priced offer data between a restaurant and a consumer
11645707 · 2023-05-09 ·

A computer-implemented system comprising a processor for an electronic data exchange using Internet to facilitate request for bids from prospective restaurant customers which become binding upon restaurants when the prospective customer honors, in full, his conditional promises to a restaurant. The processor receives offer from the restaurant's system including a minimum dollar amount, a range of time for which the offer is valid, and a customer discount associated with the offer, which are matched with the received RFB from the consumer's device, the RFB including a geographic location of restaurant, a minimum amount of money to spend and a range of time at which the consumer will promise to honor a deal. The processor searches the restaurant offers database to match one or more restaurant offers with the RFB criteria and serves said identified one or more restaurant offers to the consumer for acceptance.

PROXY OBJECTS FOR TRACKING PROCESSING OF ELECTRONIC COUPON CODES
20230206271 · 2023-06-29 ·

Systems/techniques for facilitating proxy objects for tracking processing of electronic coupon codes are provided. In various embodiments, a system can determine that a browser is performing a checkout on a frontend website. In various aspects, the system can cause the frontend website to instruct the web browser to transmit a validation request to a backend server, wherein the validation request identifies a coupon code and requests that the backend server determine whether the coupon code is applicable to the checkout. In various instances, the system can cause the web browser to append a proxy object to the validation request, wherein the proxy object fetches, during execution of the validation request by the backend server, an execution status of the validation request. In various cases, the system can receive, from the proxy object, the execution status and can initiate one or more electronic actions based on the execution status.

Reducing false positives using customer feedback and machine learning

A method of reducing a future amount of electronic fraud alerts includes receiving data detailing a financial transaction, inputting the data into a rules-based engine that generates an electronic fraud alert, transmitting the alert to a mobile device of a customer, and receiving from the mobile device customer feedback indicating that the alert was a false positive or otherwise erroneous. The method also includes inputting the data detailing the financial transaction into a machine learning program trained to (i) determine a reason why the false positive was generated, and (ii) then modify the rules-based engine to account for the reason why the false positive was generated, and to no longer generate electronic fraud alerts based upon (a) fact patterns similar to fact patterns of the financial transaction, or (b) data similar to the data detailing the financial transaction, to facilitate reducing an amount of future false positive fraud alerts.
