Utilizing a vehicle to determine an identity of a user
There are provided systems and methods for utilizing a vehicle to determine an identity of a user. A user may establish a vehicle as associated with the user, such as a vehicle owned by the user or used by the user. The vehicle may include a vehicle device that may be configured to establish connections with other devices using short range and network communications. In various embodiments, the other devices may be devices at merchant locations. Thus, a merchant at the merchant location may be informed about settings, preferences, and/or parameters for use of the vehicle established by the user. The merchant may receive these parameters even if another user is utilizing the vehicle, thus, establishing rules for use of the vehicle by the other user. In other embodiments, the other devices may be devices in other vehicles, allowing the users to communicate and set waypoints during trips.
DUPLICATED WIRELESS TRANSCEIVERS ASSOCIATED WITH A VEHICLE TO RECEIVE AND SEND SENSITIVE INFORMATION
A vehicle is provided that comprises two or more radio frequency (RF) antennas and two or more RF transceivers to communicate wirelessly sensitive information associated with a user of the vehicle (the two or more RF antennas being at different physical locations on an exterior of the vehicle). The vehicle determines which one of the two or more RF antennas is receiving a strongest signal from a common signal source, selects a first RF transceiver associated with the RF antenna with the strongest signal to send the sensitive information associated with the user to the common signal source, and sends the sensitive information associated with the user to the first RF transceiver for transmission to the common signal source.
MULTIVARIATE RISK ASSESSMENT VIA POISSON SHELVES
Detecting fraudulent activity can be a complex, manual process. In this paper, we adapt statistical properties of count data in a novel algorithm to uncover records exhibiting high risk for fraud. Our method identifies shelves, partitioning data under the counts using a Student's t-distribution. We apply this methodology on a univariate dataset including cumulative results from phone calls to a customer service center. Additionally, we extend this technique to multivariate data, illustrating that the same method is applicable to both univariate and multivariate data.
SYSTEM FOR MEDIATING PERSONAL DATA OF USER
The present invention relates to a system for mediating personal data of a user, and it is an object of the present invention to provide the personal data mediation system which allows information to be more reasonably mediated.
SERVER, SYSTEM, AND CONTROL METHOD
A server comprising an acquisition unit configured to acquire price information that includes a price to be paid for purchasing a battery and that is presented by a first user who desires to reuse the battery, the battery being mounted on a vehicle capable of travelling with an electric motor as a power source, a provision unit configured to provide a second user who owns the vehicle with the price information that is acquired by the acquisition unit, a decision unit configured to decide a business agency that will remove the battery from the vehicle, in a case where the second user approves selling of the battery at the price included in the price information, and a notification unit configured to notify the second user of business agency information about the business agency that is decided by the decision unit is provided.
VISUAL INDICATOR OF FRICTIONLESS STATUS OF SHOPPERS
A system for determining whether shoppers are eligible for frictionless checkout is disclosed. The system has a processor that obtains image data captured using image sensors positioned in a retail store. The processor analyzes the image data to identify at least one shopper at one or more locations of the retail store. The processor detects, based on the analysis of the image data, at least one product interaction event associated with an action of the at least one shopper at the one or more locations of the retail store. Further, based on the detected at least one product interaction event, the processor determines whether the at least one shopper is eligible for frictionless checkout. In response to a determination that the at least one shopper is ineligible for frictionless checkout, the processor causes delivery of an indicator that the at least one shopper is ineligible for frictionless checkout.
CUSTOMER RECOGNITION SYSTEM
A method implements a customer recognition system. A request with an identifier of an unidentified user is received. Sparse data is generated from string information corresponding to the identifier. Preexisting identifiers are filtered to generate a list of candidate identifiers using the sparse data. The plurality of preexisting identifiers correspond to a plurality of preexisting users. A core identifier is selected by determining a match between the identifier and a preexisting identifier from the preexisting identifiers using distance information generated using the list of candidate identifiers. The core identifier is matched to the identifier using the match to identify the unidentified user as a preexisting user from the plurality of preexisting users.
CONTRIBUTION DEGREE CALCULATION SYSTEM AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT
Provided is a contribution degree calculation system and computer program product for calculating the degree of contribution of “displays” serving as means for mediating supply and purchase of a product and/or service between a user who considers purchase of the product and/or service and a supplier that supplies the product and/or service.
The contribution degree calculation system includes a user action history acquisition unit that acquires the user action history, which is the history of actions taken by the user through the displays, a user purchase history acquisition unit that acquires the user purchase history, which is the history of purchase of the product and/or service by the user, a supplier progress history acquisition unit that acquires the supplier progress history, which is the progress history of supply of the product and/or service by the supplier, and a contribution degree calculator that calculates the degree of contribution of each of the displays associated with the actions of the user on the basis of the user action history, user purchase history, and supplier progress history.
Device, method, and program for commercial product reliability evaluation based on image comparison
A product evaluation device includes a receiving means for receiving product specifying information for specifying a product attribute, an acquisition means for acquiring designation in formation corresponding to a product attribute specified by the product specifying information from a storage means storing, for each product attribute, a genuine image showing a characteristic part for evaluating whether a product is a genuine product and designation information designating the characteristic part in association with each other, a request means for requesting a user to take a photograph by designating a characteristic part of the product based on the designation information acquired from the storage means and requesting a photographed image obtained by the photographing, and an output means for outputting an evaluation result obtained based on the photographed image provided in response to the request and the genuine image stored in the storage means.
