A system, method, and apparatus for decentralized e-commerce and related transactions are provided. A computing system is configured to generate buyer and seller digital wallets on a distributed ledger, receive listings for products sales from a seller electronic device, display listings for sale, and receive requests to purchase any of the listings from a buyer electronic device. A computing system is configured to chain a new block of data to a previous block of related data each time an inquiry, transaction, or other interaction with data contained with a digital wallet, such as currency or product or service listings, are received. The computing system is further operative to authenticate, display, and even translate communications transmitted and received by and between buyer/seller user electronic devices.

A system and method for providing a customized bookstore for a school including creating an online bookstore associated with a school based on a catalog including book identifiers; customizing a look and feel of the online bookstore to identify the school; populating lists wherein each list of the lists includes a category, a donation flag and a booklist including a subset of book identifiers, where the lists include a school booklist and a donation booklist; receiving an order including a shipping address, a selected category and at least one book identifier from the booklist associated with the selected list identifier; and shipping an order confirmation indicating, for each of the books associated with the least one book identifier, a respective category.

Systems and methods for that allow for the creation and management of a centralized gift registry are described. Gifts are added to the centralized gift registry from retailer-specific registries. A gift registrant may select one or more retailers. The centralized gift registry system may automatically submit a request for the creation of retailer-specific registries at each of the retailers selected by the gift registrant, based in part on information provided to the centralized gift registry by the gift registrant. This creation may involve the use of APIs at the centralized gift registry or the retailer-specific registries. A gift list is created and displayed. Gift givers may select a gift from the centralized gift registry.

Aspects of the disclosure relate to computing platforms that utilize improved mitigation analysis and policy management techniques to improve onboarding security. A computing platform may determine that a predetermined period of time has elapsed since finalizing an onboarding process. The computing platform may receive spot check verification inputs indicative of a user identity and may direct a mitigation analysis and output generation platform to analyze the spot check verification inputs. The computing platform may receive an indication of a correlation between the spot check verification inputs and expected spot check verification inputs. In response to determining that the correlation exceeds a predetermined threshold, the computing platform may determine that an additional verification test should be conducted, and may direct the mobile device to display an interface that prompts for additional onboarding verification inputs.

In an example implementation, a smart cart system may include a cart including a frame and an item holder supported by the frame and configured to transition between an open position and a storage position that is more compact than the open position. The smart cart system may include a motivator configured to provide a motive force to the cart, a power source coupled with the motivator, and a charging interface attached to the frame of the cart and that interacts with a cart charging system of a cart storage rack to charge the power source. The smart cart system may also include a user interface device, a computing device, and a smart cart controller operable on the computing device to receive information describing an attribute of an item and provide information describing the attribute of the item for presentation by the user interface device.

A user in the environment takes audio or visual recordings of an environmental element and uploads the recordings to the server. The server determines the appropriate consumer service associated with the recorded environmental element and provides the user with a reference to the service. Accordingly, any space, such as a bus stop, subway or train terminal, movie theater, or airport, may be turned into a virtual store.

This disclosure describes techniques for identifying users that are enrolled for use of a user-recognition system. To be identified using the user-recognition system, a user may first enroll in the system by stating an utterance at a first device having a first microphone. In response, the first microphone may generate first audio data. Later, when the user would like to be identified by the system, the user may state the utterance again, although this time to a second device having a second microphone. This second microphone may accordingly generate second audio data. Because the acoustic response of the first microphone may differ from the acoustic response of the second microphone, however, this disclosure describes techniques to apply a relative transfer function to one or both of the first or second audio data prior to comparing these data so as to increase the recognition accuracy of the system.

Systems and methods for facilitating the provision of goods using automated stores are provided. The automated stores are distributed across a geographical area and are remotely controlled to create an on-line marketplace. Users of the system can access the marketplace using an interactive portal to purchase items. Buyers can create purchase orders for items stocked in the marketplace and collect the items at one or more automated stores. The items are consigned to the buyers in real time at the automated store.
