GPU accelerated image segmentation
11605166 · 2023-03-14 · ·

Data gathered from a continual data source is converted into an image and represented by a rectilinear grid defining a grid of pixels. Each pixel in each axis unit of one axis is examined in parallel using a graphic processor unit (GPU) to determine whether any pixels exceed a predefined threshold. Those pixels that exceed the threshold are identified as positive return pixels. Within each axis unit groups of positive return pixels are identified based on a first axis epsilon. Adjacent groups of positive return pixels are assembled by merging the axis units based on a second axis epsilon. Groups of positive return pixels grouped together according to the first axis epsilon and the second axis epsilon are classified and reported as a signal.

Enhancing documents portrayed in digital images

The present disclosure is directed toward systems and methods that efficiently and effectively generate an enhanced document image of a displayed document in an image frame captured from a live image feed. For example, systems and methods described herein apply a document enhancement process to a displayed document in an image frame that result in an enhanced document image that is cropped, rectified, un-shadowed, and with dark text against a mostly white background. Additionally, systems and method described herein determine whether a stored digital content item includes a displayed document. In response to determining that a stored digital content item does include a displayed document, systems and methods described herein generate an enhanced document image of a displayed document included in the stored digital content item.

Systems, methods, and apparatus for detecting UAVs in an RF environment are disclosed. An apparatus is constructed and configured for network communication with at least one camera. The at least one camera captures images of the RF environment and transmits video data to the apparatus. The apparatus receives RF data and generates FFT data based on the RF data, identifies at least one signal based on a first derivative and a second derivative of the FFT data, measures a direction from which the at least one signal is transmitted, analyzes the video data. The apparatus then identifies at least one UAV to which the at least one signal is related based on the analyzed video data, the RF data, and the direction from which the at least one signal is transmitted, and controls the at least one camera based on the analyzed video data.

Attenuation estimation using ultrasound

Systems and methods for attenuation measuring using ultrasound. In various embodiments, echo data corresponding to a detection of echoes of one or more ultrasound signals transmitted into tissue are received. The echoes can be received from a range of depths of the tissue. Spectral measurements across the range of depths of the tissue are obtained using the echo data. Attenuation characteristics of the tissue across the range of depths of the tissue can be estimated using the spectral measurements across the range of depths of the tissue. Specifically, the attenuation characteristics of the tissue can be estimated using the spectral measurements and known spectral characteristics of the one or more ultrasound signals transmitted into the tissue.

A method of detecting a flame in an image comprising the step of acquiring a series of infrared images from an infrared imager. Image flow vectors are calculated for each of the series of infrared images and stored in a corresponding 2D vector array. At least one 3D image flow data set is generated from the corresponding 2D vector arrays. A 2D pixel intensity array is generated for each of the series of infrared images. A 3D pixel intensity data set is generated from the 2D pixel intensity arrays. A Fourier Transform and infrared metrics are calculated. The infrared metrics are compared to an infrared threshold criteria. A corresponding 2D threshold array for each of the series of infrared images is generated. A 3D threshold data set is generated from the 2D threshold arrays. A flame status is determined based on the 3D threshold data set.

FOURIER NEURAL OPERATOR NETWORKS WITH SUB-SAMPLED NON-LINEAR TRANSFORMATIONS

In a numerical simulation, input data expressed in at least a first domain is received. The input data is transformed to generate frequency modes of the input data in frequency domain. The transformed data is down-sampled to retain a subset of the frequency modes in the frequency domain. The down-sampled data is successively processed with one or more stages of a neural network to generate a down-sampled output in the frequency domain. The processing includes applying, in each stage of the one or more stages, a non-linear transformation to the subset of the frequency modes. The down-sampled output is then up-sampled to generate an up-sampled output corresponding to the frequency modes in the frequency domain, and the up-sampled output is transformed from the frequency domain to the at least the first domain to generate a result of the numerical simulation.
