SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ERROR CHECKING IN RADIOTHERAPY TREATMENT REPLANNING
A method for adaptive treatment planning is provided. The method may include obtaining a planning image volume of a subject, a treatment image volume of the subject, and a first treatment plan related to the planning image volume of the subject, each of the planning image volume and the treatment image volume including an ROI of the subject. The method may also include registering the planning image volume and the treatment image volume, and determining a first contour of the ROI in the registered planning image volume and a second contour of the ROI in the registered treatment image volume. The method may also include evaluating whether an error exists in at least one of the registration or the contour determination based on the first contour and the second contour, and determining a second treatment plan with respect to the treatment image volume based on the evaluation result.
METHOD FOR SEGMENTING AN OBJECT IN AN IMAGE
A computer-implemented method for segmenting an object in at least one image acquired by a camera including computing an edge probabilities image based on the image, said edge probabilities image comprising, for each pixel of the image, the probability that said pixel is an edge, computing a segmentation probabilities image based on the image (IM), said segmentation probabilities image comprising, for each pixel of the image (IM), the probability that said pixel belongs to the object (OBJ), and computing a binary mask of the object based on the edge probabilities image and based on the segmentation probabilities image.
METHOD AND SYSTEM OF IMAGE SEGMENTATION REFINEMENT FOR IMAGE PROCESSING
A system, article, and method of image segmentation refinement for image processing.
Method and System for Providing Real Time Surgical Site Measurements
A system and method for measuring an area of interest such as a hernia defect within a body cavity, in which real time image data is captured at a treatment site that includes the area of interest. Computer vision is applied to identify the extents of the area of interest within images captured using the camera, and dimensions of the area of interest are measured using the image data. The user is given output, which may include recommendations of hernia mesh shape/size and or positioning, based on the measured dimensions.
Method and apparatus for segmentation and registration of longitudinal images
The described invention provides systems and methods for detecting and segmenting a lesion from longitudinal, time series, or multi-parametric imaging by utilizing spectral embedding-based active contour (SEAC). In addition, the described invention further provides systems and methods for registering time series data by utilizing reduced-dimension eigenvectors derived from spectral embedding (SE) of feature scenes (SERg).

Disclosed are a method for processing a magnetic resonance (MR) image of a dynamic object and an MRI apparatus. The method includes receiving, from the dynamic object, a plurality of MR signals that correspond to a plurality of time sections and a plurality of slices, generating a plurality of MR images by using the plurality of MR signals, performing segmentation of each of the plurality of MR images into a plurality of regions, determining whether a segmentation error occurs in each of the plurality of MR images, and arranging the plurality of MR images to correspond to the respective time sections and the respective slices to display a matrix image, based on a result of the determining.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMAGE-BASED QUANTIFICATION FOR ALLERGEN SKIN REACTION
A method of image-based quantification for allergen skin reaction includes imaging an area of skin that has been subject to a skin-prick test to produce one or more images of the area. The method includes identifying regions of wheal and/or flare in the one or more images of the area and quantifying weal and/or flare indicators based on the regions identified. The method also includes outputting results of the quantified wheal and/or flare indicators indicative of quantified allergen skin reaction.

Methods of utilizing image noise information
Image processing methods and related apparatuses (SEG,UV). The apparatuses (SEG,UV) operate to utilize noise signal information in images (IM). According to one aspect, apparatus (SEG) uses the noise information (FX) to control a model based segmentation. According to a further aspect, apparatus (UV) operates, based on the noise information (FX), to visualize the uncertainty of image information that resides at edge portions of the or an image (IM).
System and method for image intensity bias estimation and tissue segmentation
A system and method for estimating image intensity bias and segmentation tissues is presented. The system and method includes obtaining a first image data set and at least a second image data set, wherein the first and second image data sets are representative of an anatomical region in a subject of interest. Furthermore, the system and method includes generating a baseline bias map by processing the first image data set. The system and method also includes determining a baseline body mask by processing the second image data set. In addition, the system and method includes estimating a bias map corresponding to a sub-region in the anatomical region based on the baseline body mask. Moreover, the system and method includes segmenting one or more tissues in the anatomical region based on the bias map.
