SAMPLE IMAGING AND IMAGE DEBLURRING
There is provided an apparatus with a sample holder to hold a sample to be imaged. An image capture device has a field of view and captures an image of the field of view. Also provided is an actuator. A controller controls the actuator to cause relative movement between the sample holder and the image capture device at a given speed and at a given direction during an exposure time of the image capture device such that, in use, the sample moves across at least a portion of the field of view during the exposure time. A processor performs a deblur algorithm to deblur the image using the given speed and the given direction.
MOTION CORRECTION OF IMAGES CORRUPTED BY MULTIPLE MOTION SOURCES
The present disclosure relates to dividing image data obtained from a scan (e.g. MRI) of an object into two or more sets of data corresponding do unique motion patterns and/or motion sources. Each of the two or more sets of data can be corrected using an appropriate correction technique. One appropriate correction techniques includes generating kernels for each divided imaging dataset using center and adjacent slice information to correct for through-plane and in-plane artifacts.
Global movement image stabilization systems and methods
A method of global movement image stabilization may include calculating a global motion group parameter with respect to first and second sequential frames for two or more elementary 2D motion components of a motion group. Each global motion group parameter may be applied to a motion group vector field that corresponds to the elementary 2D motion component to which the respective global motion group parameter applies to generate a global motion group vector field corresponding to each elementary 2D motion component of the motion group. The global motion group vector fields may be summed pointwise to generate a global motion deformation vector field that provides global motion from the second frame to the first frame. The global deformation vector field may be cumulated with a previous cumulative global deformation vector field that provides global movement from the first frame to one or more previous frames to generate a current cumulative global motion deformation vector field. The second frame may be deformed by the current cumulative global motion deformation vector field to generate a stabilized frame having global movement removed.
Image shake correction device, optical apparatus, imaging apparatus, and control method
There is provided with an image shake correction device that controls an image correction unit and corrects an image shake of a captured image. The image shake correction device calculates a first correction amount to be used for correcting the image shake while shooting moving images and a second correction amount to be used for correcting the image shake while shooting still images based on a shake detection signal. The image shake correction device selects the correction amount to be used for correcting the image shake from either the first correction amount or the second correction amount and executes a control that updates an intermediate calculation value of the calculation unit corresponding to the correction amount that has not been selected from either the first calculation unit or the second calculation unit, with a value of the correction amount that has been selected.
Method and apparatus for capturing digital video
A method and apparatus for capturing digital video includes displaying a preview of a field of view of the imaging device in a user interface of the imaging device. A sequence of images is captured. A main subject and a background in the sequence of images is determined, wherein the main subject is different than the background. A sequence of modified images for use in a final video is obtained, wherein each modified image is obtained by combining two or more images of the sequence of images such that the main subject in the modified image is blur free and the background is blurred. The sequence of modified images is combined to obtain the final video, which is stored in a memory of the imaging device, and displayed in the user interface.
IMAGE RESTORATION APPARATUS, CAMERA AND PROGRAM
The present invention provides an image restoration apparatus, a camera and a program which are capable of performing image restoration with simple const ruction. A specific area within a captured image is specified, and a calculation of a point spread function and the image restoration calculation are carried out using an image in the specific area.
Motion Image Compensation Method and Device, Display Device
Disclosed are a motion image compensation method and a device, and a display device. The motion image compensation method comprises: acquiring a first image corresponding to a pre-motion picture and a second image corresponding to a post-motion picture; dividing the first image and the second image respectively into several image blocks; performing computations on any pair of mutually corresponding image blocks in the first image and the second image based on a phase correlation method performing edge detection on the first image and the second image respectively and according to a preset condition, acquiring, from the at least one displacement vector, a displacement vector matched with a transformation between the edge feature patterns within the pair of mutually corresponding image blocks as a displacement vector corresponding to the pair of image blocks during a motion compensation process.
Image processing device, imaging device, image processing method, and program for restoration processing based on a point spread function and a frame after a frame to be processed
Disclosed are an image processing device, an imaging device, an image processing method, and a program capable of acquiring a moving image with excellent image quality while maintaining continuity of a restoration process between frames even if there is a rapid change of a photographing environment in a moving image. An image processing device includes a restoration control processing unit 36 which subjects a moving image including a plurality of frames acquired by photographing using an optical system to a restoration process based on a point spread function of the optical system to acquire recovered image data. The restoration control processing unit 36 controls the restoration process for a frame to be processed among a plurality of frames based on imaging information of a reference frame including a frame after the frame to be processed in a time series.
Method for correcting an acquired image
A method of correcting an image obtained by an image acquisition device includes obtaining successive measurements, G.sub.n, of device movement during exposure of each row of an image. An integration range, idx, is selected in proportion to an exposure time, t.sub.e, for each row of the image. Accumulated measurements, C.sub.n, of device movement for each row of an image are averaged across the integration range to provide successive filtered measurements,
