Disclosed are systems, devices, and methods for detecting characteristics of an unhatched egg. A set of images of an unhatched egg are obtained, where each of the spectral images is obtained in a particular wavelength range. The set of images is processed to extract image features, where the image features includes an image texture feature. The extracted image features are processed to classify the unhatched egg according to at least one characteristic. The at least one characteristic may include fertility and/or gender.

ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE

On the basis of voxel data for a plurality of voxels constituting a set of ultrasound volume data, a voxel group identifying unit 50 identifies, in said ultrasound volume data, one or more voxel groups formed by a plurality of voxels in which voxel data satisfy a condition of being linked. On the basis of the voxel data for a plurality of voxels corresponding to each voxel group to be displayed, from among the one or more identified voxel groups, an image forming unit 80 forms an ultrasound image in which the voxel groups to be displayed are indicated clearly in a selective manner. It is thus possible for a three-dimensional image to be formed in such a way that one part of the image, such as floating matter in the amniotic fluid, does not interfere with another part of the image, such as a fetus.

Ultrasound with Gender Obfuscation

Sonography systems and methods for performing sonography are provided in which the gender of a fetus is obfuscated. Gender is obfuscated by blurring or otherwise obfuscating the genitalia of the fetus in a sonogram, optionally also by subtly modifying features like dimensions of bones from which gender could otherwise by deduced, and by modifying sonography data so that if copied and removed from the sonography system the gender of the fetus is obfuscated in the copy. Trained neural networks are employed to locate genitalia and to correctly identify gender from features other than the genitalia so that the genitalia can be obfuscated and other features subtly modified to evade gender detection.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATING A MORPHOLOGICAL ATLAS OF AN EMBRYO
20230169662 · 2023-06-01 ·

A method for generating a morphological atlas of an embryo including the steps of receiving a plurality of 3D images of the embryo representative of the morphological process of embryonic cells from a first predetermined cell population to a second predetermined cell population; processing the plurality of 3D images to derive nucleus lineage information associated with each nucleus of the embryonic cells during the morphological process; performing a membrane segmentation procedure to segment the 3D images into membrane segments; and combining the nucleus lineage information and the membrane segments to generate the morphological atlas of the embryo.

EMBRYO EVALUATION BASED ON REAL-TIME VIDEO

System, method and computer readable medium that assess characteristics of an embryo by processing video image data of the embryo. Video is obtained, typically from third parties, of a target embryo. The video has frame speed of two frames per second, or faster and includes image data representing morphokinetic movement of the embryo. The image data is processed using a trained machine learning model that assesses embryo characteristics. The video has a duration of ten minutes or less. The assessment can be a prediction of a likelihood the embryo is viable and/or will produce a pregnancy upon transfer into a recipient. Further, the assessment can predict a likelihood the embryo will: (1) produce offspring having a specific sex; (2) embody a genetic anomaly; (3) perpetuate desired traits in produced offspring and/or (4) produce undesired characteristics in produced offspring.

ULTRASONIC IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE

According to the present invention, when measurement of a distance (fetal head biparietal diameter) on an ultrasonic image is started, a first mobile marker for designating a start point and a standard range display graphic are displayed. The standard range display graphic is a graphic that is centered on the first mobile marker and comprises two circular graphics having radii that are configured to be a lower limit and upper limit of a fetal head biparietal diameter standard range. A user can designate the start point while recognizing, via the standard range display graphic, an end point candidate range. Subsequently, an end point can be designated while recognizing the end point candidate range via a stationary standard range display graphic.

ULTRASONIC IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE

When measurement of a circumference (abdominal circumference of a fetus) on an ultrasonic image is started, a first mobile marker for designating a major axis start point of an ellipse to be measured is displayed. After the major axis start point is designated, a second mobile marker for designating a major axis end point of the ellipse to be measured and a standard range display graphic are displayed. The standard range display graphic comprises two ellipses in which the major axis start point and second mobile marker constitute a major axis or minor axis and the circumferences are configured to be a lower limit and upper limit of the abdominal circumference. A user can designate the major axis end point while recognizing the positional relationship between the standard range display graphic and the outline of an abdominal cross section. Furthermore, a minor axis end of the ellipse to be measured can be designated using the standard range graphic as a guide.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DEFINING CUT LINES TO GENERATE A 3D FETAL REPRESENTATION
20220047241 · 2022-02-17 ·

A plurality of ultrasound frames of a fetus are acquired using an ultrasound scanner, which may be oriented arbitrarily with respect to the fetus during the acquisition. The ultrasound frames are processed against an artificial intelligence model to predict a different cut line on each of the ultrasound frames. Each cut line is predicted to be exterior to an image of the fetus appearing on the ultrasound frame. The different cut lines on the plurality of ultrasound frames are then used to identify ultrasound data in the image frames to generate a 3D representation of the fetus.
