Systems and methods for selecting among different driving modes for autonomous driving of a vehicle
Systems and methods for selecting among different driving modes for autonomous driving of a vehicle may: generate output signals; determine the vehicle proximity information that indicates whether one or more vehicles are within the particular proximity of the vehicle; determine the internal passenger presence information that indicates whether one or more passengers are present in the vehicle; select a first driving mode or a second driving mode based on one or more determinations; and control the vehicle autonomously in accordance with the selection of either the first driving mode or the second driving mode.
System and method for providing rear seat monitoring within a vehicle
A system and method for providing rear seat monitoring within a vehicle that include activating a vehicle camera system to capture images of at least one rear seat of the vehicle. The system and method also include determining if at least one rear seat passenger is located within the at least one rear seat of the vehicle and storing a detection indication data when the at least one rear seat passenger is determined to be located within the at least one rear seat of the vehicle. The system and method further include providing at least one type of alert based on analyzing the detection indication data and determining the location of the at least one rear seat passenger included within the detection indication data.
DRIVER LOGIN SYSTEM
A driver login device includes: a network communication unit in communication with the server via a network; an image pickup device capturing a target to obtain a login data; an image processing unit electrically coupled to the image pickup unit, and receiving and processing the login data to obtain a digital data; and a central processing unit electrically coupled to the network communication unit, the image pickup device and the image processing unit. The central processing unit, by way of the network communication unit, receives the data of the driver from the server via the network, controls the image pickup device to capture the target, comparing the digital data with the data of the driver to generate a comparing result, and by way of the network communication unit, transmitting the comparing result back to the server via the network.
Vehicle Security Alarm Assembly
A vehicle security alarm assembly includes a plurality of window sensors coupled to windows of a vehicle and plurality of handle sensors coupled to door handles of the vehicle. A motion sensing array is coupled to the vehicle to detect motion proximate the vehicle. Each of the window sensors, the handle sensors and the motion sensing array is in communication with the alarm system of the vehicle to selectively trigger the alarm system. A surveillance unit is mounted to a rear view mirror of the vehicle thereby facilitating the surveillance unit to surveil a back seat of the vehicle. A personal electronic device is included that is in communication with the alarm system for alerting an owner of the vehicle when the alarm system is triggered.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DISTINGUISHING AND COUNTING PERSONS AND OBJECTS
The invention relates to a method for distinguishing, detecting and counting persons and/or objects in vehicles for conveying persons and/or goods, with the method steps: emitting radiation from a radiation source, deflecting the radiation with an element for deflecting the radiation, generating a light pattern in a detection region with a beam density ρ.sub.s of 5*10.sup.2/4*πsr.sup.−1≤ρ.sub.s≤10.sup.6/4*πsr.sup.−1, and detecting the radiation backscattered by persons and/or objects situated in the detection region in a radiation detector, as well as a corresponding person and/or object counting device.
Occupant monitoring device for vehicle and occupant protection system for vehicle
An occupant monitoring device for a vehicle is configured to monitor an occupant sitting on a seat provided in a vehicle and includes a light projector, an imaging device, and a processor. The light projector is configured to project light toward the occupant sitting on the seat. The imaging device is configured to capture an image of the occupant sitting on the seat. The processor is configured to control the light projector and the imaging device to capture the image of the occupant sitting on the seat. In a case where a collision of the vehicle is predicted, the imaging device captures the image at a higher speed than in a normal case where a collision of the vehicle is not predicted.
Child safety lock
An apparatus including a capture device and a processor. The capture device may be configured to generate a plurality of video frames corresponding to an interior view of a vehicle. The processor may be configured to perform operations on the video frames to detect objects in the video frames, detect an occupant of the vehicle and a seat of the vehicle based on the objects detected in the video frames, determine a status of the occupant based on characteristics of the occupant detected in the video frames and generate a signal in response to a comparison of the status of the occupant to a threshold. The characteristics may be determined by performing the operations on the occupant in the video frames. The signal may be configured to control a door lock. The door lock controlled by the signal may correspond to the seat used by the occupant.
VOICE PICKUP METHOD FOR INTELLIGENT REARVIEW MIRROR,ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
It is disclosed a voice pickup method and apparatus for an intelligent rearview mirror, an electronic device and a computer readable storage medium which relates to the technical field of vehicle-mounted equipment, and may be used in the field of automatic driving technologies. A voice pickup implementation of the intelligent rearview mirror according to some embodiments includes: acquiring an image of the interior of the vehicle; determining the position of a person in the vehicle with the image of the interior of the vehicle; and adjusting a beamforming direction of a microphone array according to the position of the person in the vehicle.
ENTRY SUPPORT SYSTEM, ENTRY SUPPORT METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An entry support system includes: an externally located person reporting unit which executes predetermined reporting by a reporting unit used by an internal user when an externally located person is recognized by an externally located person recognition unit in a state where the internal user is recognized by an internal user recognition unit; and an entry permission unit which executes entry permission processing for enabling entry to a vehicle when a permission operation of the entry to the vehicle is performed to an operation unit used by the internal user after the predetermined reporting is executed.
VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM AND VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD
In a vehicle control system, when a vehicle peripheral condition recognizing unit recognizes a person outside a vehicle and the vehicle peripheral condition recognizing unit recognizes an in-vehicle user, a notification control unit performs notification processing on outside of the vehicle, based on personal information which is predetermined information relating to the in-vehicle user or an action taken by at least one of the person outside the vehicle and the in-vehicle user.
