Information processing apparatus, information processing method, and program
Provided is an information processing apparatus including: a locking control unit configured to execute a first process of processes for causing a locking unit to unlock, on the basis of detection of access of a first communication terminal; and a detection unit configured to detect an unlocking request by a user of the first communication terminal. The locking control unit executes a second process of the processes for causing the locking unit to unlock, when the unlocking request is detected and the first process is completed.
Electronic credential reader with facility code filtering
Disclosed embodiments utilize a dual-frequency credential reader along with a dual-frequency access card that outputs two unique facility codes. A first facility code is associated with the legacy, low frequency credential transmission. A second facility code is associated with the secure, high frequency credential transmission. During the transition period, the new access readers are configured to read both low frequency, and high frequency credential data. The new access cards send out a first facility code at the first frequency, and a second facility code at the second frequency. In embodiments, the first facility code and second facility code of the new access cards are different than the facility code of the legacy cards. This allows users with new cards to use doorways at access points that still have legacy credential readers, simplifying the transition from a legacy access control system to a modern, secure access control system.
MULTI-SENSOR PASSIVE KEYLESS FUNCTIONALITY
In selected examples, a vehicle control system (VCS) includes Bluetooth beacons and an app running on a mobile device, such as a smartphone or a key fob equipped with movement sensors and a Bluetooth transceiver. Passive keyless entry capability of the system uses received signal strength indications (RSSIs) together with movement-related indications of the movement sensors to determine when the mobile device moves away from the vehicle beyond a predetermined departure distance, and/or approaches the vehicle to within a predetermined arrival distance. When the user approaches the vehicle, the mobile device automatically transmits an arrival notification to the VCS, which automatically performs arrival actions, e.g., unlocking doors and disarming security features of the VCS/vehicle. When the user moves away from the vehicle, the mobile device automatically transmits a departures notification to the VCS, which performs departure actions, e.g., locking the vehicle and arming the security features of the VCS/vehicle.
WIRELESS LOCK
A network lock system and a method for operating the network lock system. The network lock system includes a lock mechanism and a device adapter for applying a power signal to a lock mechanism in which a bolt and a latch are locked together. The lock mechanism includes an electromagnet and a compressible spring. The power signal provides power to the electromagnet which causes the bolt to be attracted into the electromagnet by an electromagnetic force exceeding a compression force of a spring which causes the bolt to be released from the latch and causes the bolt to be surrounded by the electromagnet. Withdrawing the power signal from the lock mechanism removes the power provided to the lock mechanism which removes the electromagnetic force resulting in the compression force of the spring pushing the bolt into the latch causing the bolt and the latch to be locked together.
Wireless lock
A network lock system and a method for operating the network lock system. The network lock system includes: a battery controller for turning on a microcontroller using power in a battery, in response to a determination by the battery controller that there is enough power in the battery to turn on the microcontroller; the microcontroller after being turned on, for receiving a wireless signal and in response, for generating a lock signal to activate a device adapter; the device adapter for applying a power signal to a lock mechanism, in response to the device adapter having been activated by the lock signal; and the lock mechanism for locking a first lock part to a second lock part together, and for releasing the first lock part locked to the second lock part in response to the lock mechanism having received the power signal from the device adapter.
Authenticating with an authentication server for requesting access to a physical space
According to a first aspect, it is provided a method for requesting access to a physical space secured by a lock. The method is performed in a mobile device of a user and comprises the steps of: authenticating the mobile device with an authentication server, resulting in a token, being a data item, indicating one or more access groups to which the user belongs, wherein the token is cryptographically signed by the authentication server; storing the token in the mobile device; obtain a lock identifier of the lock; and transmitting an access request to an access control device, the access request comprising the token and the lock identifier.
Method and device for authenticating a user to a transportation vehicle
A method for authenticating a user on a transportation vehicle, wherein the transportation vehicle is coupled to an external device storing an authentication secret code and to at least one token storing a token secret code. In the method the token secret code is transmitted to the transportation vehicle when an operator control action performed with the at least one token is sensed. A new secret code is generated from the token secret code and is compared with the authentication secret code. When the new secret code matches the authentication secret code, the user is authenticated on the transportation vehicle. Also disclosed is an apparatus for authenticating a user on a transportation vehicle.
LOCKING AND UNLOCKING SYSTEM
A locking and unlocking system includes a controller. The controller is configured to acquire a state of locking and unlocking, of a vehicle that is locked and unlocked based on locking and unlocking instruction information acquired from a portable terminal, and send a notification to a first device associated with the vehicle, when the vehicle is not locked during a period of time from when the vehicle is unlocked based on the locking and unlocking instruction information acquired from the portable terminal until a first timing.
Dual Card Programming for Access Control System
A method of programming an access control system including presenting an access card and a configuration card to a device; determining a validity of the access card at the device; process the configuration card at the device; decrypting a payload on the configuration card based on information from the access card; using the payload form the configuration card to switch the device to a high security mode of operation.
