DISTRIBUTION DEVICE, KEY INFORMATION SHARING SYSTEM, METHOD OF CONTROLLING DISTRIBUTION DEVICE, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A server comprises circuitry configured to distribute key information to a first portable terminal. The key information includes information indicating whether locking and unlocking of a vehicle, making the vehicle travel, and using a content providing device that provides digital contents in a vehicle cabin are permitted. The key information further includes restricted function information indicating that locking and unlocking of the vehicle and use of the content providing device are permitted but traveling of the vehicle is not permitted. The key information further includes deliverable information making the key information deliverable to another terminal. The deliverable information is excluded from the key information when the key information is sent from the first portable terminal to a second portable terminal.
DISTRIBUTION DEVICE, KEY INFORMATION SHARING SYSTEM, METHOD OF CONTROLLING DISTRIBUTION DEVICE, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A key information sharing system includes a first user terminal carried by a first user of a vehicle, a second user terminal carried by a second user of the vehicle, and a server device configured to distribute key information to the first user terminal. The key information is used for a key system that determines whether to lock and unlock the vehicle, make the vehicle travel, and use a content providing device that provides digital contents in a vehicle cabin of the vehicle. The server device is configured to distribute the key information to which restricted function information is added, to the first user terminal. The restricted function information is information indicating that locking and unlocking of the vehicle and use of the content providing device are permitted but traveling of the vehicle is not permitted. The server device is configured to distribute the to the first user terminal.
Distribution device, key information sharing system, method of controlling distribution device, and recording medium
A distribution device includes a server device configured to distribute key information to a portable terminal. The key information is used for a key system that determines whether or not to lock and unlock a vehicle, to make the vehicle travel, and to use a content providing device that provides digital contents in a vehicle cabin of the vehicle by transmitting the key information from the portable terminal to the vehicle. The server device is configured to distribute the key information to which restricted function information is added, to the portable terminal. The restricted function information is information indicating that locking and unlocking of the vehicle and use of the content providing device are permitted but traveling of the vehicle is not permitted.
Base control module for vehicles
A base control module for vehicles comprises, a controller which includes a housing, a programmable processor, on-board memory, and a plurality of inputs and outputs. The module also comprises, a set of pluggable module interfaces each comprising a standardized connector for any of a plurality of interchangeable pluggable modules, with each pluggable module having a different functionality, and each connector having a plurality of pins. A standardized communication protocol is provided between the base control module and any of the pluggable modules. Adaptable software on the base control module that can assign different configurations for the pins of the connector dependent upon the functionality of the pluggable module for those pins. The same base control module and set of pluggable module interfaces can be used for different pluggable modules.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING A PHYSICAL LAYER RELAY ATTACK
There is provided a method and a system for authorizing a user device to send a request to a vehicle in order to prevent a physical layer relay attack. The system comprises a vehicle comprising an acoustic transducer and an RF transceiver and a user device comprising an acoustic transducer and an RF transceiver. The method relates to a signaling scheme using a combination of acoustic and RF signals for preventing a successful physical layer relay attack.
ACCESS CONTROL AND LOCATION TRACKING SYSTEM
A system for providing controlled access and tracking location of an individual within a restricted area includes access cards, access control devices, location tracking devices, a gateway device, and a server. The access card includes identification data which facilitates the access control devices to provide physical access to the individual into the restricted area. The access cards also transmit beacon signals to facilitate the access control devices and the location tracking devices to track location of the individual within the restricted area. The gateway device is connected to the access control devices and the location tracking devices. The server is connected to the gateway device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PERSONNEL ACCOUNTABILITY AND TRACKING DURING PUBLIC SAFETY INCIDENTS
Systems and methods for managing an incident event by a public safety and security organization. The methods comprise: performing Near Field Communication (NFC) or Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) operations by a Land Mobile Radio (LMR) and a field computing device to check-in a field personnel member into an incident event; communicating check-in information to a remote computing device from the field computing device via a packet switched LMR infrastructure or a public network; and using the check-in information by the remote computing device to facilitate management of the incident event by the by public safety and security organization.

REMOTE CONTROL BUTTON ACTUATION SYSTEM WITH PROXY REMOTE
An actuation system used to actuate one or more buttons on a remote control device, such as a key fob, based upon commands that are generated from a mobile device. The actuation system includes a key fob enclosure located remotely from the vehicle. When a command is received on the mobile device, the command is relayed to a controller within the key fob enclosure, causing a button on the key fob to be depressed. The RF signal from the key fob is translated into a digital message which is relayed to a proxy remote located within the vehicle. The proxy remote, in turn, translates the digital message to an RF signal which is transmitted and received by systems within the vehicle. In this manner, the proxy remote is able to communicate using RF signals with the vehicle without requiring the key fob to be located near the vehicle.
Computer vision to enable services
This application describes techniques for providing computer vision for manual services. In some instances, a remote system may determine that a current time is within a threshold period of time of a scheduled service and, based on the determination, send a first message requesting image data to a camera apparatus located within an environment. After sending the first message, the remote system may receive image data associated with the environment from the camera apparatus and use the image to detect an object within the environment. The remote system can then send a second message to a device of a guest and a third message to a device of a user, where each of the second message and the third message indicates that the object is within the environment. In some instances, the object can include an animal while in some instances, the object can include a person.
