A method is described for determining a position of a user device in relation to a vehicle, the vehicle including first and second receivers. The method includes transmitting a positioning signal by the transmitter of the user device, receiving the positioning signal by the first receiver and by the second receiver arranged at a distance from the first receiver, in at least one of the first and second receivers, receiving and identifying a reflected positioning signal reflected at a ground surface before reaching the first and second receivers, performing time synchronization between the transmitter and the first and second receiver, determining a position of the user device in a three-dimensional coordinate system based on a time-of-flight of the positioning signal received in the first and second receivers and on a time-of-flight of at least one reflected positioning signal received by at least one of the first and second receivers.

The mobile terminal sends the unlocking verification code attached with the preset key data to the intelligent lock. The intelligent lock performs an unlocking operation based on the unlocking verification code attached with the preset key data.

Individuals in possession of electronic programmable keys can be provided opening codes to activate their keys while in the field, and to enable the keys to access one or more electronic locks located at the remote sites. Usage information associated with the utilization of the electronic programmable keys at the remote sites is stored on the electronic programmable keys. A lock attendance code is generated by the keys to verify attendance at the remote locations. The lock attendance codes are then transmitted to the network operations center where they are decoded to verify servicing of the remote sites.

A distribution device includes a server device configured to distribute key information to a portable terminal. The server device is configured to distribute the key information to which restricted function information is added, to the portable terminal. The restricted function information is information indicating that locking and unlocking of the vehicle and use of the content providing device are permitted but traveling of the vehicle is not permitted.
