Keyless entry message validation
An example operation includes one or more of establishing a security level based on an environment of a transport, determining a minimal radio frequency signal strength needed for a device to communicate with the transport based on the security level of the transport, and performing a command, by the transport, based on the communication when the minimal radio frequency signal strength is achieved.
Smart Welcome System of Vehicle and Controlling Method Thereof
A control method of a smart welcome system of a vehicle includes emitting a low-frequency signal of a first power to search for a smart key in a first search area, emitting a high-frequency signal by the smart key, determining that the smart key is within the first search area, carrying out authentication for the smart key, transmitting a wake-up signal to an AVNT smart connection device, and emitting a low-frequency signal of a second power to search for the smart key in a second search area, executing a booting program, transmitting a high-frequency signal by the authenticated smart key, determining that the authenticated smart key is within the second search area, unfolding a side mirror and outputting a welcome sound output signal to a welcome speaker, and outputting a welcome sound simultaneously with unfolding the side mirror.
Vehicle control system and mobile device used as vehicle key fob
An apparatus includes a vehicle control system (VCS) coupled to a computer of a vehicle via a CAN bus and configured to present selectively appearance of a presence in the vehicle of a smartkey, e.g., by energizing and de-energizing an actual smartkey of the vehicle. The VCS includes a VCS and a Bluetooth® VCS transceiver. The VCS stores VCS software. The apparatus also includes a smartphone with a Bluetooth® transceiver, and storing an app. The mobile device is paired with the VCS to communicate with the VCS via a Bluetooth® link. The app configures the smartphone to receive menu selections from a user, to generate communications that identity smartkey-enabled features of the VCS that correspond to the selections, and to send to the VCS the communications through the link. The VCS software configures the VCS to receive the communications and cause the vehicle to perform actions corresponding to live communications.
ELECTRONIC KEYS FOR ELECTRONIC LOCKS AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates a set of electronic keys for an electronic lock. The set of electronic keys includes at least one passive electronic key having a passive digital key, and at least one active electronic key having an active digital key. Each of passive and active electronic keys includes a communication channel and an electronic key power supply port. The active electronic key includes electrical power source providing electrical power supply to the active electronic key itself, the electronic lock and the passive electronic key through the electronic lock to operate the electronic lock. When both active and passive electronic keys are inserted into respective electronic keyholes of the electronic lock, both active and passive digital keys are transmitted to the electronic lock, the electronic lock can be locked and unlocked only when both active and passive digital keys received match prestored active and passive digital keys respectively.
KEY FOB WITH RSSI
A key fob includes: communicator(s), a battery, memory, and processor(s) configured to: find signal strengths of received polls; determine, based on the signal strengths, that the received polls have: (a) increased, (b) decreased, (c) leveled off; and if (a), issue a poll response; if (c), not issue the poll response.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DYNAMIC IDENTIFICATION FOR VEHICLE ACCESS
A system for providing dynamic access to a vehicle via a plurality of devices. A device and/or a server of an authentication network stored fob data relating to one or more key fobs linked to the vehicle, and device data that includes data relating to one or more devices that are authorized to access the vehicle. The vehicle receives an access request indicating that a new device is requesting access to the vehicle, whereupon a challenge may be transmitted to one or more of the authorized devices. The one or more devices may respond, granting access to vehicle functions. The vehicle and/or authentication network generate a secure fob key based on the response and transmit the secure fob key to the new device. The new device may be authenticated to access vehicle functions based at least in part on the fob key.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VEHICLE ACCESS AND FUNCTION CONTROL UTILIZING A PORTABLE DEVICE
The vehicle and/or authentication network generate a secure fob key and access limitations based on the response and transmit the secure fob key to the new device. The new device may be authenticated to access vehicle functions subject to the limitation based at least in part on the fob key.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DYNAMIC IDENTIFICATION AND KEY MANAGEMENT FOR VEHICLE ACCESS
The vehicle and/or authentication network generate a secure fob key and access limitations based on the response and transmit the secure fob key to the new device. The new device may be authenticated to access vehicle functions subject to the limitation based at least in part on the fob key.
Key fob dongle
The disclosed method uses a dongle to program a replacement key fob transmitter to a vehicle. The dongle mates to the vehicle's on-board electronics through the vehicle's existing data link. A diagnostic circuit in the dongle determines a communications protocol for programming the key fob transmitter to the vehicle. Audio and visual indicators indicate that communications are established and the successful programming of the key fob transmitter to the vehicle.
WIRELESS FOB
A fob includes a housing, a processor positioned within the housing, and a transceiver positioned within the housing and coupled to the processor. The transceiver is configured to send signals to a remote device. The fob also includes a touchpad supported by the housing and coupled to the processor. The touchpad is operable to discern a plurality of different gestures. Each gesture corresponds to a different signal being sent by the transceiver.
