Systems and methods for cash-till optimization
To enable customer-facing transactions between merchants and customers that utilize cash designated as bank-owned cash (BOC), a monitoring server monitors quantities of cash within point-of-sale (POS) terminals, such as self-checkout terminals having cash verification systems therein, and monitors levels of cash within those POS terminals designated as BOC and for which the BOC cash is reflected within a financial institution account associated with the merchant. Upon execution of a cash transaction at a POS terminal involving BOC, the monitoring server updates quantities of cash stored within the POS terminal and provides data to a financial institution regarding the cash transaction.

APPARATUS FOR STORING MEDIUMS AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
An apparatus for storing a medium includes a safe having an entrance for replenishment and recovery to which a transit cassette is selectively connected, a reception unit configured to deposit and withdraw a medium by a customer, an identification unit serving to identify whether the medium is a normal banknote or a rejection banknote, a deposit cassette configured to store the medium deposited through the reception unit, a recycle cassette configured to store the medium recognized as the normal banknote, a conveyance path configured to convey the medium, and a control unit configured to control the conveyance path.
MONEY HANDLING APPARATUS
A money handling apparatus performs a money dispensing process, the money handling apparatus including a storage cassette, a plurality of storage units and processing circuitry. The storage cassette is detachably mounted to the money handling apparatus, and the storage cassette to store money for a replenishment process. The plurality of storage units store money. The processing circuitry is configured to receive a designation of a processing time of the replenishment process, and control the replenishment process based on the processing time so that a storage unit of the plurality of storage units is replenished with money fed out from the storage cassette.

Group persona based machine replenishment prediction
A computer implemented method, computer program product, and computer system technique for optimizing automated teller machine (ATM) replenishment schedules to prevent an ATM from having insufficient product and also to prevent the inefficient use of product. The technique involves retrieving unstructured data from the users of the ATM. Then the technique analyzes the unstructured data using a natural language processing (NLP) model. The technique then inputs the results of the natural language processing deep neural network (DNN) trained with structured data. The result of the NLP and DNN analysis is a user persona. The user persona is used to generate the optimized ATM replenishment schedule.
Universal built-in cassette array with cash rebalancing
A cassette housing for rebalancing bills among storage cassettes is disclosed. The cassette housing is fixedly and operably coupled to a transaction device and includes docking apparatus structured to receive a first storage cassette and a second storage cassette, a transport apparatus operatively coupled to the docking apparatuses and a housing computing system. The transport apparatus is structured to facilitate transferring the bills among the storage cassettes. The housing computing system is structured to generate a first storage data packet and a second storage data packet associated with the first storage cassette and the second storage cassette, respectively. A rebalancing instruction may be generated by a remote computing system based on the first storage data packet and the second storage data packet. The cassette housing is structured to cause the transport apparatus to transport bills based on a rebalancing instruction.

Intelligent cash handling
Aspects of the disclosure relate to cash handling devices that provide intelligent monitoring and management of cash cycles. A cash handling device having at least one processor, a communication interface, and memory may receive, from a mobile device, a request to process a pre-staged transaction. Subsequently, the cash handling device may generate and present a graphical identifier based on the mobile device requesting access to the cash handling device. Next, the cash handling device may verify that the mobile device is authorized to perform the pre-staged transaction based on the graphical identifier being scanned by the mobile device and cause a connection to be established between the cash handling device and the mobile device. Thereafter, the cash handling device may identify and process the pre-staged transaction associated with the mobile device. Then, the cash handling device may generate a notification indicating completed processing of the identified pre-staged transaction.
Cash depositing and dispensing machine and a method for accessing a cash depositing and dispensing machine
The disclosure relates to a cash depositing and dispensing machine comprising: a machine body having outer circumferential walls, and an arrangement comprising: a cash input/output unit having an interface for allowing depositing and dispensing of cash, a cash handling unit, and a cash storage unit, wherein said cash input/output unit, said cash handling unit, and said cash storage unit being arranged in relation to each other in relation to said machine body between: a closed position for which the outer circumferential walls of the machine body enclose the cash handling unit and the cash storage unit so as to prevent access thereto, and a service position and a cash access position for which at least the cash handling unit protrudes from the machine body so as to allow access thereto.
