An orthopedic brace featuring a posterior bracing system. The posterior bracing system comprises (i) a posterior panel including a plurality of locking slots and (ii) a first extension panel removably coupled to the posterior panel. The first extension panel includes a plurality of locking protrusions corresponding to and removably coupled to the plurality of locking slots.

BRACEWEAR FOR SPINAL CORRECTION AND SYSTEM FOR POSTURE TRAINING

The present disclosure provides a bracewear for spinal correction and a system for posture training. The system for posture training involves both active and passive corrective forces by using the bracewear and a biofeedback system to address the spinal correction, which can eliminate the adversity of conventional hard braces and reduce the psychological and physiological barriers to treatment.

HUNCHBACK ORTHOSIS
20220023085 · 2022-01-27 ·

The invention provides a wearing assembly for wearing on a user's shoulders, and a reminder device for generating vibrations or sounds to remind the user to adjust his/her current body posture. When the user is in a hunchback posture, the width of the user's back increases to exert enough outward pulling force on the reminder device and triggers vibrations or sounds. The wearing assembly includes two connecting belts and two shoulder wear pieces. The reminder device includes a casing, a fixed fastener, a movable fastener, a first guide member, a second guide member, a first contact end, a counting module, and a microswitch. When the first contact end moves and contacts the microswitch, the microswitch will enter a conductive state, so that the casing will produce vibrations or sounds. The counting module is used to accumulate the number of times the microswitch is contacted within a period of time.

Spine support device for maintaining anatomical alignment and stability

A spine support device includes a support plate having front and rear faces, a central opening, and a pair of stabilizing stirrups formed on the rear face of the support plate in spaced parallel relationship to augment the support provided by the support plate when positioned at its front face in contact with a portion of a person's back surrounding a region of spinal vertebra visible through the central opening in the support plate. The support plate has opposing inner side edge portions at opposing sides of the central opening and opposite peripheral side edge portions spaced outwardly therefrom with the stabilizing stirrups therebetween. The opposing inner side edge portions and the opposite peripheral side edge portions of the support plate have respective alternating peak and valley shapes for accommodating interconnecting facets of the spinal vertebra region visible through the central opening in the support plate.
