In addition, the sponsor can sweeten the deal on a bet by paying the “vig” or house take, improving the odds, matching an amount wagered, and the like. Advertisers may condition these improvements on viewing an ad or engaging with sponsored content. Deals between the sponsor and the offeror of the bet may take the form of affiliate advertising. Advertisers can show bettors how much more they made or how much less they had to wager due to the advertiser's influence. Swag or merchandise may also include coupons.
