Graphical user interface for making payment to selected place on map or selected place in list
Various embodiments of a system, methods, server, client, and graphical user interface to enabling user to access selected place on map to associated payment graphical user interface to make payment from user selected payment account to place associated identified merchant associated account. In another embodiment enabling user to access selected or pre-set location nearby list of places and enable to select particular place from list and access associated payment graphical user interface to to make payment from user selected payment account to place associated identified merchant associated account.
MEASUREMENT INFORMATION PROCESSING MODE SWITCHING SYSTEM
Systems and methods of automatically switching measurement information processing modes related to a self-checkout kiosk. In one exemplary embodiment, a method is performed by an electronic device that includes processing circuitry. The method may include detecting, using object recognition, at least one object present in real-time captured imagery. The method may further include, responsive to detecting the at least one object present in the real-time captured imagery, switching measurement information processing modes from a first measurement information processing mode to a second measurement information processing mode.
MERCHANDISE PROCESSING DEVICE AND METHOD THEREFOR
A merchandise processing device includes an identification unit, a detection unit, and a control unit. The identification unit identifies a merchandise. The detection unit detects, based on a captured image of the merchandise, a privilege medium in which privilege information is recorded. The control unit causes a display device to display the image, on which the privilege medium is detected, in association with information related to the merchandise identified by the identification unit.
Checkout apparatus
A checkout apparatus includes a memory that stores first information about one or more commodities registered in a registration process, a first interface configured to acquire an image of a predetermined region where registered commodities are to be placed, and a processor configured to identify commodities in the image acquired via the first interface by object recognition, determine whether each of the identified commodities is in the first information stored in the memory, and if one of the identified commodities is not in the first information, output an error signal.
System and method for determining a liquid level in a vessel
A system and method for determining a liquid level in a vessel is described. Embodiments of the system can include a liquid level measuring assembly, a user device, and a vessel. The liquid level measuring assembly can include an ultrasonic sensor assembly, a control module, and a mount body configured to place the ultrasonic sensor assembly proximate a bottom of a vessel. Typically, the system can be implemented with a vessel having a substantially cylindrical shape and including a chime. The mount body can be adapted to removably couple to the inside of the chime of the vessel.
CAMERA CONTROL DEVICE AND METHOD TO PROCESS CAPTURED IMAGE USING AT LEAST ONE CAMERA
According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for processing an image photographed by using at least one camera comprises the following steps of: receiving a first image photographed to have a first image quality through at least one camera; detecting a human object from the first image; generating an event signal when it is detected that a product object is picked up by the human object after the human object is detected in the first image; and acquiring a second image including the human object by controlling the at least one camera to photograph to have a second image quality higher than the first image quality in response to the event signal.
Self-checkout method and apparatus
A point-of-sale self-checkout terminal includes a code reader device for automated entry of a product identification code present on items for purchase and a customer input device for receipt of data from a customer. A customer can initiate a purchase of a non-scannable item and, in response, a database is queried to identify items based on a prediction of purchase of the items, and the identified items are displayed for selection by the customer to purchase the item. Image processing and voice processing, can also be implemented to assist customers with the purchase of non-scannable items.
ELECTRONIC ARTICLE SURVEILLANCE (EAS) ASSEMBLY INSTALLABLE IN PRODUCT PROCESSING WORKSTATION, AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION
An electronic article surveillance (EAS) assembly is installable in a workstation that processes products associated with targets to be electro-optically read. The assembly includes a radio frequency (RF) antenna having a pair of RF feed lines and a conductive loop for generating an electromagnetic field to deactivate EAS tags associated with the products to be processed, and a protective carrier for supporting and protecting the antenna during the installation in a predetermined position in the workstation.
Log-in control apparatus, control method of log-in control apparatus, and information terminal
In one embodiment, a log-in control apparatus has a processor which controls an operation for log-in to an information terminal moving along with a carrier for carrying a commodity to be purchased. The processor detects a state in which the commodity is placed on the carrier, in cooperation with a sensor attached to the carrier. The processor detects the operation for log-in to the information terminal, in cooperation with an input device included in the information terminal. When the processor detects the operation for log-in, in a case in which the processor detects the state in which the commodity is placed on the carrier, the processor judges that the operation for log-in is ineffective.
PAYMENT REGISTER SYSTEM AND METHOD OF OPERATING A PLURALITY OF PAYMENT REGISTERS
Described is a payment register system that can be used for accepting payment for one or more restricted items in a retail store. The payment register system includes one or more local payment registers and a remote monitor and control unit in electrical communication with each of the local payment registers. Each of the local payment registers is either operated by a local cashier, who may be under the age required to sell restricted items, or, one or more of the local payment registers may be “self-checkout” payment registers that do not have an assigned cashier. The remote monitor and control unit is used by a remote cashier to operate the local payment register, and authorize and ring up sales of restricted items that the local cashier may not be authorized to handle.
