AUTHENTICATION OF WEARABLE DEVICES ASSOCIATED WITH A PREMISES SECURITY SYSTEM
In some embodiments, an authentication device is provided. The authentication device configured to determine that the wearable device is authorized to participate in the premises security system, cause transmission of a first security token that is usable to validate that the wearable device is authorized to participate in the premises security system, in response to the status update, request the first security token from the wearable device, validate that the wearable device is authorized to participate in the premises security system based at least in part on the first security token received from the wearable device and in response to validating that the wearable device is authorized to participate in the premises security system, cause transmission of a second security token to the wearable device where the second security token is usable to trigger a premises security system action.
Comprehensive system and method of universal real-time linking of real objects to a machine, network, internet, or software service
A system for detecting placement or misplacement of an object includes a wireless tag; a first electronic device (“FED”) associated with the tag to automatically detect signals from the tag, determine a position of the FED, transmit the position and status to an external electronic device or network (“EED”) in response to the status indicating that the tag and the FED are within a predetermined range, and transmit the position and status to the EED in response to the status indicating that the tag and the FED are outside of the predetermined range; and a second electronic device (“SED”) that is unassociated with the tag to automatically detect signals from the tag, determine a position of the SED, determine an identifier for the tag using the signals, and transmit the position of the SED and the identifier to the EED.
Location identification system and location identification method
A position specifying system can accurately detect, while reducing a power consumption amount of a carried terminal, a position within a watching area where the target person acts every day and can efficiently detect the position even in an emergency where the target person moves out of the watching area. The terminal transmits, at a first time interval, identification information via short-range wireless communication; acquires, at a second time interval, position information with a GPS function; and transmits the identification information and the position information to a server via long-range wireless communication. A terminal for detection transmits the identification information transmitted from the communicable target person terminal. The server specifies the position of the target person terminal based on information transmitted from the terminal for detection and specifies the position of the target person terminal based on the identification information and the position information transmitted from the target person terminal.
Release monitoring through check-in and tethering system
A check-in and tethering system for monitoring persons such as released in court-ordered supervised programs and a method for operating such a system is disclosed. The system includes a tethered mobile device that provides a check-in procedure that requires a response from a user of the tethered mobile device in the form of at least one of a device identifier from a monitored tethered device attached to the user, a biometric response, or a performed action by the user. The tethered mobile device determines whether the response is valid and transmits a notification to a monitoring center in response to the determination.
CREW SAFETY SYSTEM
The current invention relates to a crew safety system for monitoring persons on a ship. The system comprising a plurality of wearables in a two way connection with at least one room module, said room module being in a two way connection with a central module. Said two way connection between each room module and the central module being provided by cabling of a fire safety system. The invention permits the monitoring of the status of a number of crew members and the environment they work in while being advantageously easy and inexpensive to install, run and operate.
SENSORY DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A sensory device for a motor vehicle is a system for automatically preventing the driver of a vehicle from forgetting and leaving an infant in a car seat when exiting the vehicle. The system uses the mirror of a vehicle to house many of the functions for scanning the vehicle and detecting various types of sensitive indicators that a person is still in the vehicle. A transmitter is able to transmit a signal using various methods, to receivers such as smart cell phones to alert the driver and/or other individuals either in the vehicle or otherwise, that an infant was left behind.
LOCATING A LOST DEVICE
An embodiment of the invention may include a method, computer program product and computer system for detecting a device. The embodiment may include a computing device that determines a Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) of a beacon of a second device. The computing device may determine a first location of the first device. The computing device may determine whether the UUID of the beacon of the second device matches a UUID in a list of UUIDs, where each UUID in the list of UUIDs corresponds to a beacon associated with a device. The computing device may transmitting the UUID of the beacon of the second device and the first location to a third device, based on determining the UUID of the beacon of the second device matches an entry in the list.
Conditional separation alert system
A system for detecting and reporting the separation of two entities including where the entities are people or items. In some implementations, the system performs separation checking triggered by movement conditions, or by checking of the state of an entity upon separation, and additionally adapts checking methods according to a condition.
Monitoring of patient supports
A hospital bed is configured to monitor data from a second patient support based on the one or more alarms set by the user. The hospital bed detects whether an alarm triggering event occurred based on the monitored data. In response to a determination that the alarm triggering event occurred, the hospital bed will provide a signal indicative of the alarm triggering event to a nurse call system.
Method and apparatus for detecting when a security system is armed and a mobile device is left inside
A method of detecting when a first mobile device is left in a building including: determining that an alarm system of a building has been armed; detecting positional data of a first mobile device for a selected period of time after the alarm system has been activated; determining a location of the first mobile device after the selected period of time in response to the positional data, the location of the first mobile device being within the building; and activating an alarm in response to the location of the first mobile device being within the building.
