GAS DETECTOR SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING GAS LEAKS FROM BURIED PIPELINES

Gas monitoring network and deployment systems and methods are described for detecting gas leaks (e.g., natural gas leaks) from gas infrastructures (e.g., buried natural gas) within residential, commercial, rural, and industrial areas. A method of deployment involves placing detector systems indoor and outdoor environments in distinct patterns, providing early warning or long-term monitoring of gas leaks via data communication technologies.

EVACUATION SYSTEM

A system includes a first sensor configured to identify information regarding an emergency condition associated with a structure and a second sensor configured to identify an occupancy pattern regarding the structure. The system also includes a processor operatively coupled to the first sensor, the second sensor, and a transceiver. The processor is configured to determine a severity of the emergency condition based at least in part on the information regarding the emergency condition and prioritize rescues within the structure based at least in part on the occupancy pattern. The system also includes the transceiver which is configured to transmit an identification of the emergency condition, a location of the structure, the occupancy pattern, the prioritization of rescues, and the severity of the emergency condition.

Security sharing systems and methods

A method may include receiving an alert and a recorded data set from a first monitoring system and receiving a first set of permissions from the first monitoring system. The method may also include determining a permission associated with sharing of the recorded data set based at least in part on the first set of permissions. The method may also include determining that sharing of at least a portion of the recorded data from the first monitoring system is permitted based at least in part on the permission and sharing the at least a portion of the recorded data set.

A system for issuing a notification responsive to the occurrence of an event affecting a monitored person. The system has a monitoring device that determines occurrence of an event related to the health or safety of the person and produces a first signal when the event occurs. A first communications device issues a second signal upon receiving the first signal and a second communications device issues a notification signal upon receiving the second signal. The notification signal is issued to one or more entities and advises that an event has occurred. The first communications device has a shorter communications range than the second communications device. Also, the second communications device operating at a higher power level or a greater signal bandwidth than the first communications device.

FIRE ALARM BUILDING MANAGEMENT INTEGRATION

A fire alarm system includes an alarm panel, one or more notification appliances, one or more initiating devices, one or more wires, and one or more alternate building systems. The one or more wires couple the alarm panel to the one or more notification appliances and to the one or more initiating devices. The one or more alternate building systems are coupled to the one or more wires. The one or more alternate building systems each include one or more components configured to receive power from the one or more wires.

The present disclosure discloses a data transmission method and apparatus. User equipment (UE) measures and transmits a transmission delay to a group communication service application server (GCS AS), or the GCS AS itself determines a transmission delay, so that the GCS AS may determine, according to the transmission delay, a time of sending a packet on a multicast path or a unicast path. Therefore, a problem of out of order of packets or a loss of a packet due to a transmission delay is resolved, and continuity of a communication service is maintained.
