Device, system and apparatus for female urine collection

A non-invasive female urine collection device comprising a first pipe with an inflatable balloon attached to a first end of the first pipe; and a urine collection member attached to a second end of the first pipe such that, when the first end of the first pipe is inserted into vagina, the urine collection member covers urethra for collecting the urine discharged through the urethra. The urine collection member further comprising a first membrane and a second membrane together forming a urine collection pouch, in that the second membrane is shorter than the first membrane exposing the first membrane around Urethra for collecting the urine discharged through the urethra. The urine collection member further comprising a set of spikes formed on the first membrane in line with the urethra to prevent splashing of urine coming out of urethra.

FLUID REMOVAL DEVICE

A urine removal device includes a pouch with a proximal opening that provides access to an internal compartment of the pouch that is suitable to contain urine. A fluid diverter system is disposed inside of the pouch and extends from the proximal portion of the pouch, where it interfaces via an outlet conduit member to the environment outside of the pouch, to the distal end of the pouch where it draws in urine from the pouch. The pouch has at least one air port to allow air flow through the device to support suction that is applied inside of the pouch. The fluid diverter system has at least one conduit member configured to draw urine from the distal portion of the pouch up to the proximal end of the pouch, and into the outlet conduit member where it exits the fluid collection device.

The present disclosure relates to a device for the measurement of fluids and the prevention of infections caused by probes comprising a module of fluid measurement and a probe infection prevention module. The fluid measurement module comprises an electronic module for the measurement of the body fluids; a disposable container for temporary retention of fluid during measurement; a fluid circulation tube arranged between the probe and the disposable container; and a disposable bag for the final disposal of waste fluids. The probe infection prevention module comprises a sheet equipped with adhesive allowing conformation of a flexible structure to the skin or mucosa of the patient. This module incorporates a gel externally that prevents infections, as well as internal antimicrobial components to inhibit passage of microorganisms through the system. The present invention allows non-invasive measurement of fluids utilizing existing probes while contributing to the reduction of infections in patients.
