Tamper-Evident Indicator Wraps
Systems and methods include tamper-evident indicators applied to a band comprising a strap that forms a closed loop. Tamper-evident sections of the indicators provide increased security against accidental and intentional removal of the indicators. Indicators are provided with adhesives and bare areas devoid of adhesive allowing easy and secure application of indicators to bands while they are being worn and with greater ease. Indicators can be further provided with liners protecting the adhesives allowing the indicators to be easily applied by gloved hands, reducing contamination risks. Contamination and wear risks can be further reduced by supplying indicators with antimicrobial surfaces and overprint varnishing.
LABELLING MATERIAL
Labeling material includes a labeling region to be printed using a printing device and/or for handwritten labeling. The labeling material includes a carrier layer that is at least partially transparent and can be folded over onto the labeling region to cover or seal the labeling region and can be bonded thereto in portions or over the entire surface. One or more adhesive regions, such as an adhesive layer, adhesive dots, adhesive strips, etc., bond the at least partially transparent carrier layer to the labeling region in portions or over the entire surface. The adhesive region and the labeling region are arranged on the same side of the at least partially transparent carrier layer.

Container for a specimen and method of using same
A container for a specimen includes a container configured to receive a specimen for evaluation, a first label disposed on the container and having identifying information, and a second label disposed on the container so as to entirely cover at least all perimeter edges of the first label. The second label includes a viewing portion that allows for evaluation of the specimen and an identification portion configured to receive identifying information. Methods for using the container for a specimen are also disclosed.
SELF PRIMING, RELEASABLE, WRAP-AROUND LABEL
A label having an imprint layer, a non-opaque layer, and a carrier layer is described. The label allows for printed information to be fixed to the outward-facing imprint layer. It is then removed from the carrier layer and applied to a curved surface so as to wrap completely around the object and overlap and adhere to itself over however many revolutions may be required. The trailing edge of this label can be selectively and non-destructively peeled away, and unwound to reveal the entire length of label and the printed content thereon, with its adhesive still being sufficient to allow the label to be rewound.

UNIVERSAL LABEL
A sandwich-type, steam-sterilizable universal label for sterile products packaging can be used both on soft packaging and hard packaging. The universal label has different adhesives with different adhesive properties which are covered in such a way that they can be exposed selectively individually and separately from each other for their respective adhesive actions.
Adhesive application with intermittent dead zones
A process is provided to create a strip of selectively pressure-sensitive adhesive material. A first roller unwinds a backing and a roller dispenses a series of separated areas of inhibited adhesive material. A second roller applies a continuous layer of adhesive material over the inhibited adhesive material and backing. A facing is applied over the continuous layer of adhesive material. The machine then winds the finished material. A removable backing is coated with non-sticky material and then covered by a continuous sticky layer of material. A face stock material is then applied over the continuous sticky layer.
Biological sample containment system and label
A biological sample containment system and a label for a container that includes a first layer having a first readable information portion and a second layer removably attached to the first layer, the second layer having a second readable information portion, is disclosed. In one embodiment, the first layer and the second layer of the label are both formed of a thermosensitive material. In one embodiment, at least a part of the first readable information portion is identical to at least a part of the second readable information portion. The label of the present disclosure allows a portion of the label having readable information to be removed and adhered to a patient record, for example, while a portion of the label having identical readable information remains on the container.
