Produce wash label
A dissolvable produce washing label includes a dissolvable facestock impregnated with a produce cleanser; an adhesive layer; and a coating to seal and protect from water and humidity. When rubbed and washed with water by the end user the top coating wears and breaks to expose the dissolvable substrate, thereby dissolving the facestock and releasing the produce wash.
Linerless combined mailing label and return label and method of manufacturing same
A combined primary label and secondary label comprises a first piece of paper, a first release coating disposed on a portion of the first piece of paper, a second piece of paper, a second release coating different from the first release coating and disposed on a portion of the second piece of paper. The combined primary and secondary label further comprises an adhesive layer disposed between the first and second pieces of paper such that (i) a primary label can be peeled away with at least some adhesive of the adhesive layer from the second release coating disposed on the portion of the second piece of paper, and (ii) a secondary label can be peeled away with at least some adhesive of the same adhesive layer from the first release coating disposed on the portion of the first piece of paper.
Tamper-evident label
A label is provided with a warning layer coating integrated or applied to a front side of the label. The warning layer coating is not activated by application of heat; rather, the warning layer coating activates upon a directional force (vertical or horizontal puffing) applied to the label after the label was initially adhered to a container, bag, box, and/or object. Upon activation, visible color or a printed warning indicia is visible on a front surface of the label, providing evidence that the label was removed after initial application or providing evidence that the label was attempted to be removed after initial application.
LINERLESS COMBINED MAILING LABEL AND RETURN LABEL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAM
Multi adhesive linerless label media
A linerless label media includes a substrate having a first side, a second side and a longitudinal axis. The first side of the substrate has a release coat. The second side of the substrate has at least one area of a first adhesive having a first thickness, and at least one different area of a second adhesive having a greater thickness than the first thickness of the area of the first adhesive. The greater thickness of the second adhesive reduces a contact between the first adhesive and the release coat when the linerless label media includes a linerless label roll configured for use in a printer. A linerless label roll is also described.
Linerless receipts and labels
A labeling system for use with containers, comprising at least one linerless label, wherein the at least one linerless label is adapted to receive printing thereon; a substrate for receiving the label and to which the label becomes permanently bound after the label has been attached to the substrate; a first adhesive, wherein the first adhesive is a repositionable adhesive; a second adhesive, wherein the second adhesive is a remoistenable adhesive that includes predetermined amounts of polyvinyl alcohol, dextrin, and at least one humectant, and wherein the adhesives are deposited on the label prior to attaching the label to the substrate.
Polyester-melamine coatings and labels including the same
Polyester-melamine coatings that exhibit desirable heat resistance and adhesion to a variety of polyolefin materials and labels including such coatings are provided. The polyester-melamine compounds present within the coatings can be obtained by reacting an etherified melamine and a hydroxylated polyester.
LABELS AND ROLLS WITH ADHESIVES TO STICK TO MOIST AND DRY SURFACES
A label is constructed with multiple separate adhesives or a mixture of a non-moisture activated adhesive and a moisture-activated adhesive and applied in multiple patterns on a backside of the label. The label maintains adhesive bonding characteristic when the backside of the label is affixed to dry, cool, warm, and wet surfaces.
