VARIABLE PATTERN SHIELD PROTECTION SYSTEM FOR A TAMPER-EVIDENT CONTAINER
20200320903 · 2020-10-08 ·

The disclosed embodiments provide a method for tamper-evident shipment or storage of goods. An Electrical Shield pattern is embedded in or printed on a substrate with other electrical, optical, and electronic components, communication components, semiconductors, which are attached or printed on a substrate to form a shipment bag used as a shipping container. The shield pattern can be made variable between different bags by using algorithms entered into a printer control system. The shipment bag with its components can then be assigned a unique signature which differentiates each bag. Application of encryption methods serves to guarantee the shipped goods are authentic and that were not tampered with during shipment. Digital signal processing is used to generate pedigree information, which may include items such as shipping location, serial numbers, sensor information, and lot numbers for the goods. The information related to the history of tampering attempts and other sensor status can be placed in encrypted form in an RFID tags or control or monitoring electronics which can be read by a mobile phone application or sent to a remote cloud-based server.

CONTAINER TAMPER-PROOF PROTECTION BY USE OF PRINTED FIBER OPTICS MANUFACTURING AND INTEGRATED SENSORS

The disclosed embodiments provide a method for tamper-proof protection of containers used for shipment of goods. An optical fiber is embedded in an Optical Shield Wallpaper which lines all interior surfaces of any size of a shipping container, package, box, barrel or other shaped container. Wallpaper is manufactured using large scale rollers that press fibers with encapsulated adhesives onto an appropriate medium. Small medicine containers are protected with a fiber optic shield and sensors manufactured using ink jet printing techniques. Light is applied to the optical fiber and a measurement of optical fiber characteristics is performed. Digital signal processing is used to generate pedigree information, which may include items such as shipping location, serial numbers and lot numbers for the goods. The status of the autonomous anti-tampering system is monitored real-time for unauthorized intrusions. Intrusions detected are relayed to an authorized recipient via a variety of communication channels.

INDICATOR TAGS THAT EXHIBIT COLOR TRANSITION

An indicator tag and a method for fabricating the same are disclosed. For example, the indicator tag includes a three-dimensional mesh comprising a plurality of pores, wherein the three-dimensional mesh is printed with a water soluble and ultra-violet (UV) light curable ink, a container enclosing the three-dimensional mesh, a membrane coupled to the three-dimensional mesh, and a dye dispensed on top of the membrane, wherein the three-dimensional mesh interacts with the dye when in contact with the dye to provide an indication.

Deposition Process Based on Stencil Mask and Application to the Fabrication of Tags Supporting Multi-Functional Traceable Codes
20200190661 · 2020-06-18 ·

A chemical gas phase deposition process comprises steps of providing a high vacuum chamber, and inside the high vacuum chamber: positioning a substrate surface; positioning a mask parallel to the substrate surface, whereby the mask comprises one or more openings; adjusting a gap of determined dimension between the substrate surface and the mask; and orienting a plurality of chemical precursor beams of at least one precursor species towards the mask with line of sight propagation, each of the plurality of chemical precursor beams being emitted from an independent punctual source, and molecules of the chemical precursor pass through the one or more mask openings to impinge onto the substrate surface for deposition thereon. At least a part of the chemical precursor molecules decompose on the substrate surface at a decomposition temperature. The process further comprises adjusting a temperature of the substrate surface greater or equal to the chemical precursor molecule decomposition temperature, thereby remaining greater than a mask temperature, and maintaining the mask temperature below the decomposition temperature, thereby causing a decomposition of the chemical precursor and a growth of a film on the substrate surface, but not on the mask; and heating the substrate surface using a heating device.

Tamper indicating seal

A system and method for detecting tampering with a seal is provided. A loop seal tamper indicating device includes a seal wire that may be passed through a secured item or container to form a loop with the free ends of the seal wire passing through a seal housing. A plunger body including an adhesive-filled cavity is inserted into the seal housing, such that a piston expresses the adhesive into the space between the seal housing and the plunger body. The adhesive may contain reflective particles and is cured to fix the particles and the adhesive in place. A reference image may be taken to record the unique identifier and reflective signature of the adhesive. Future validation images may be compared to the reference image to determine whether the reflective signature has changed, thus indicating that the seal has been tampered with.

TAMPER-EVIDENT MATERIALS, ADHESIVES, SEALS, AND CONTAINERS

Described herein are tamper-evident adhesive seals for sealing articles, containers, and other enclosure in which a covert tamper evidencing agent is included in an adhesive sealing material. The presence of the covert tamper evidencing agent reveals evidence of tampering when exposed to UV light.

ELECTRONIC LABEL WITH BURGLARPROOF FUNCTION FOR GOODS

The present invention relates to an electronic label with a burglarproof function for goods which includes a coupling structure having a ring form directly hung on a product and in which another coupling structure having the ring form is used in place of the coupling structure even when the coupling structure having the ring form is damaged.

SMART SEAL ASSEMBLY

A security seal identification that may be matched with an identification of a utility measuring meter. This matching may be done, for instance, by a code which is imprinted on the seal and then matched to a meter number in a database, or by a code such as an encryption of the number assigned to the meter. An encryption may be read by an app on a smartphone or checked offline to determine whether the seal belongs to the meter or if it was altered or changed. A mismatch of numbers or symbols may generally indicate a change or manipulation and warrant an investigation.

REUSABLE BOLT ELECTRONIC SEAL MODULE WITH GPS/CELLULAR PHONE COMMUNICATIONS & TRACKING SYSTEM

An electronic security bolt seal for locking a hasp includes an electronic module that has a circuit board disposed at an interior cavity of a housing. The housing includes apertures aligned with each other, such that a bolt is configured to be inserted through the apertures and through the interior cavity to engage the circuit board and complete an electronics circuit. When the bolt is inserted through the apertures of the housing, a locking device engages a tip region of the bolt that protrudes from the housing to secure the electronic module to the bolt. Responsive to a determination of breaking the electronics circuit, the circuit board is operable to generate a seal tamper signal. The locking element can be unlocked by a user to disengage the locking device from the bolt to permit the bolt to be removed from the electronic module and disengaged from the hasp.

TAMPER PROOF TAG FOR WATCHES
20200095808 · 2020-03-26 ·

Disclosed is a tamper proof tag and accompanying method for verifying that a watch is authentic and has not been tampered with. The tamper proof tag, when affixed to the watch, ensures that the watch is authentic and prevents a user from tampering with the watch. The tamper proof tag also allows the watch to be worn while the tamper proof tag is affixed to watch and is minimally obstructive to the aesthetics of the watch. This provides a purchasing user with confidence that the watch is authentic, while also allowing the user to try on the watch without having to remove the tamper proof tag. The tamper proof tag also protects the seller from a user that may attempt to tamper with the watch after purchase. For example, the seller may condition returns for a sold watch on the tamper proof tag remaining affixed to the watch.
