An emergency monitoring and, communication system comprises a plurality of exit devices located throughout a building and each locally capable of ascertaining an emergency event in vicinity of its location. The exit devices communicate their locations and emergency events. Each of the plurality of exit devices is equipped with an emergency sensor, a location sensor, a communication module, and a controller. A display screen and a speaker may be included in the exit device to be utilized for providing visual and audible signals, respectively. Each exit devise is, capable of receiving the location coordinates from the other exit devices in the system, ascertaining at least one of a safe pathway and an unsafe pathway, and further communicating them to a hand-held device to be displayed utilizing a programing application included in the hand-held device.

LIGHT FIXTURE SIGN

A light fixture sign includes a sign message structure including letter-shaped structures. The light fixture sign includes an illumination source to generate light to be projected through a front surface of the letter-shaped structures. The light fixture sign includes at least one reflective mirror having a first surface attached over a back surface of the letter-shaped structures and a reflective surface opposite the first surface to reflect light.

Lamp fixture and emergency light comprising the same

A lamp fixture, including a first bracket, a second bracket, a rotary joint, and a lamp. The second bracket includes a first subunit and a second subunit. The second bracket is rotatably connected to the first bracket. The second bracket is connected to the lamp through the rotary joint. The rotary joint is rotatably connected to the second bracket. The first bracket includes an end face opposite to the second bracket. The end face protrudes to form a first connecting block, and the end face includes a plurality of first V-shaped grooves circumferentially disposed around the first connecting block. The second bracket includes an end face opposite to the first bracket. The end face includes a first bulge corresponding to the plurality of first V-shaped grooves. The end face includes a first through hole to receive the first connecting block.

Emergency Door Lock Illumination Apparatus
20200291677 · 2020-09-17 ·

An emergency illumination apparatus is integrated into a door lock mechanism including a manual release member and a latch which is displaceable between an engaged position with the jamb of an associated exit door, and a disengaged position, enabling opening of the door. The apparatus includes an illumination device including a base member mounted to the door lock mechanism or a surface of the associated exit door and a spaced array of discrete illumination elements extending along at least one axis intersecting with or circumventing the manual release member. A sensor operates to detect an emergency condition such as the presence of excessive heat, smoke, carbon monoxide, noxious gas and the like, and generate an alarm signal in response thereto. An independent power supply is disposed within the emergency door lock illumination apparatus. A controller energized by the power supply activates the illumination device in response to the alarm signal.

Front access battery compartment

An emergency lighting device includes a housing containing a high voltage connection. A light emitter is connected to the housing. A compartment in the housing having an opening is separated from the high voltage connection. A battery is positioned in the compartment and accessible through the opening.

Method and apparatus using a combination of quantum dot-containing films with optical filter films for signage and illumination applications

An illuminated sign comprises a source of blue light; a quantum dot-containing film that produces green light when illuminated by the source of blue light; and, a patterned blue cutoff filter in optical communication with the quantum dot-containing film configured to allow a mixture of excess blue light from the source of blue light and green light from the quantum dot-containing film to pass through the pattern. The mixture of blue light and green light produces a pseudo white light. The illuminated sign may thus comprise pseudo white letters and/or graphics on a luminous green background.

Hybrid illuminated indicator sign
