Exterior applique changeable stealth badging
An apparatus, according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a vehicle body member and at least one badge that identifies at least one service provider. The badge comprises an applique that is mounted to the vehicle body member. A control activates and deactivates illumination of the badge based on at least one of a driver or user input. A method according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, mounting at least one badge to a vehicle body member, the badge comprising an applique that includes one or more identification logos, and illuminating at least one identification logo based on at least one of a driver or user input.
REMOTE VEHICLE HAZARD AND COMMUNICATION BEACON
A hazard beacon has an interface to a vehicle wiring harness configured to detect that vehicle emergency indicators have been deployed, a plurality of separately strobe capable light segments forming a hazard symbol, and a microcontroller controlling operation of the plurality of separately strobe capable light segments.
Decorative decal device with light
A decal assembly includes a film, a power source including a positive contact and a negative contact, a light having a positive terminal and a negative terminal, and a layer of electrically conductive ink applied to the film, the layer of electrically conductive ink forming a line to connect the positive contact of the power source to the positive terminal of the light, and to connect the negative contact of the power source to the negative terminal of the light.
SIGN POST FLASHER ASSEMBLY
Various examples are directed to apparatus and methods for providing a sign post flasher assembly. An apparatus includes an elongated assembly having one or more channels, and one or more light sources configured to be placed within the one or more channels. The apparatus also includes an electrically conductive material configured to electrically connect the one or more light sources, and a covering material configured to cover the electrically conductive material to provide a waterproof seal. The elongated assembly is configured to be affixed to and align with a front of a sign post along a length of the sign post, and the electrically conductive material is configured to be connected to a controller to control flashing of the one or more light sources.
ILLUMINATED SIGNAGE
An illuminated signage has a housing that carries a plurality of signage panels having a photoluminescent area carrying indicia for the signage. The signage panels are carried in a channel extending across a front face of the housing. An electrical circuit controls a plurality of light emitters that are configured to illuminate when the photoluminescent area has been depleted and is no longer producing enough luminescence to illuminate the indicia. The electrical circuit may also be configured to illuminate the LEDs on demand.
Etched illuminated display
An etched illuminated display includes a mirrored first surface having etched indicia thereon. A second and a third surface are disposed along a first and a second outer edge of the mirrored first surface. An illumination source is positioned behind the first surface. When activated the illumination source produces illumination emanating from the etched indicia.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING DISPLAY CONDITION WHICH IS PRE-WRITTEN INTO PASSIVE LIGHT BOARD BY MOBILE DEVICE
Disclosed are a method and system for controlling a display condition which is pre-written into a passive light board by a mobile device. A display status is pre-written into a passive light board which is not powered by electricity before, and a control application program loaded into the mobile device is provided for a user to input a brightness parameter and a color temperature parameter. The light board which is not powered by electricity before can carry out the presetting of the display condition, and related manufacturers can set the light boards quickly and easily after the light boards exit the factory, and the light boards can display according to the conditions in compliance with the brightness parameter and the color temperature parameter after the light boards are powered on.
AREA LIGHT DECORATIVE ELEMENT WITH OPTICALLY ACTIVABLE SYMBOL BODY
The invention relates to an area light decorative element (1) comprising an optically activatable symbol body (2) at least partially formed of a transparent optically activatable first material (9) and configured to emit visible light in response to the optically activatable symbol body (2) being excited with electromagnetic radiation in a predetermined first frequency range, a light element (3) consisting of a transparent material, wherein the optically activatable symbol body (2) is arranged in the light element (3), a touch-sensitive surface (4) disposed in a first area (5) of a surface of the light element (3) above the optically activatable symbol body (2) for detecting a touch of a user in the first area (5), and an illumination unit (6) which is arranged to emit visible light in a predetermined visible frequency range (22) into the light element (3) and, together with the visible light, also to emit electromagnetic radiation in the predetermined first frequency range into the light element (3).
LIGHTING SYSTEMS INCORPORATING CONNECTIONS FOR SIGNAL AND POWER TRANSMISSION
In accordance with various embodiments, lighting systems features multiple inter-connectable light panels each having multiple light-emitting elements thereon. One or more of the light panels features one or more connectors, and associated conductors, for the transmission of power, communication signals, and/or control signals.
