HEATING / COOLING BODY TREATMENT THERAPY PAD SYSTEM
A heating/cooling therapy treatment pad system incorporates a plurality of therapy pads that can be coupled together by connectors and attachments to form an integrated therapy pad assembly. The thermal pads have pouches for receiving thermal inserts that may be heated or chilled. The thermal inserts may be cylindrical in shape and there may be thermal insert gaps, or spaces between the pouches to enable better conformability of the therapy pad to a person's body, such as around the neck. The heating/cooling therapy treatment pad system may include a neck therapy pad, spine therapy pad, head and face therapy pads, shoulder therapy pad, lumbar therapy pad, armpit thermal therapy pad and a thermal therapy pad vest. The system of pads interconnect to provide tailored thermal therapy to multiple areas of a user's body and may be used to effectuate rapid cooling and in particular for those suffering from heat exhaustion.
COOLING CAP ASSEMBLY AND COOLING UNIT
Devices, systems, and methods herein relate to cooling a head of a patient. These systems and methods may comprise a cooling cap assembly comprising a heat exchanger configured to be wrapped around a head of a patient and a compression assembly releasably coupled to the heat exchanger. The compression assembly may comprise an enclosure and an inflatable member coupled to an internal surface of the enclosure. When coupled, the inflatable member may be positioned between the enclosure and the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger may be separate from and moveable relative to the inflatable member.
Headwear for removing heat from a person's scalp in order to prevent hair loss
Headwear (2) for removing heat from a person's scalp in order to prevent hair loss, comprising a body portion (4) for fitting over the scalp, an inlet (6) and an outlet (8), and fastener means (10) the headwear (2) being such that it opens to a flat condition when it is not in use on the person's head (12), and the body portion (4) comprises a plurality of internal walls (14) which define a passageway (18) through the body portion (4) from the inlet (6) to the outlet (8) whereby the cold fluid is able to circulate through the body portion (4), and the passageways (16) being such that they are expanded by the cold fluid and press against the person's scalp with a pressure which causes contact with the person's scalp and thereby to facilitate maximum cold transfer.
ARRANGEMENT APPLIED TO A CAP FOR COOLING THE SCALP
Refers to equipment (E), the objective of which is to take extremely cold air to a cap (1) comprised by a cylindrical duct (2), located in the upper part of the cylindrical structure (3) of the cap (1) which is coated by a thermal foam (ESP) and any given material (M), wherein the cylindrical duct (2) overlaps a sprinkler (ASP), which is located in the inner part (I) of the cylindrical structure (3) of the cap (1), further, the cap (1) comprises fins (4) which form an angle of 90 in relation to the inner walls (I) of the cylindrical structure (3) of the cap (1), which finally also has reinforcement ribs (5) and a circular support (6) endowed with a central hollow (7) circular and/or oval coated by a thermal foam (ESP) throughout its perimeter.
Protective Clothing And Apparel For Pets And Animals And Method Of Use
Protective clothing and apparel for pets and animals, and method of using same, structured as a shirt and/or hat made of an ultraviolet protective rash guard material with at least on portion having cooling crystals integrated therein. In a first embodiment the clothing is directed to a pet shirt constructed having a top portion, bottom portion, and side portions arranged to form a generally tubular member having an opened torso end, two leg members, and a collar member. In a second embodiment the clothing is directed to a pet hat constructed having a top portion, side portions and a front portion having a visor member attached thereto, the side portions having a lower rim. Two ear members and securement means are integrated within the lower rim of the side portions. At least a portion of the shirt/hat comprises ultraviolet properties. Additionally, at least a portion of the shirt/hat comprises a cooling zone formed of a plurality of cooling crystals. Owing to the ultraviolet material and cooling crystals the pet clothing shields pets/dogs from harmful ultraviolet rays while keeping them cool and comfortable and mitigating heat exhaustion.
