Method and apparatus of a self-managed portable hypothermia system
A non-user assisted, portable, entirely self-managed capable hypothermia device to eliminate hair loss caused by the side effects of certain chemotherapy treatments or to reduce the metabolic rate of ischemic tissue along with the severity of swelling is disclosed. The device consists of a conformal cap system, a thermally conductive liquid located between the body part to be cooled and the cap system, thermal transfer fluids, phase change materials, thermally insulated cooler, physical measuring devices, mechanical and electrical components, a smart user interface device, a battery, and an uninterruptible power controller.
Method and device for improving brain function
Methods and therapeutic devices with noninvasive means for improving brain function and treating senile dementia including Alzheimer's disease are described. The non-invasive means is selected from electrical stimulation, heat stimulation, IR (infrared) radiation or their combinations. In some embodiments, the method and device utilize electrical current passed through acupuncture sites on the human head to achieve desired therapeutical effects.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING A COSMETIC HAIR CONDITION
A system for improving a hair condition is provided in various embodiments. The system can have a sensor device having at least one sensor for detecting a hair condition parameter and a treatment device. The treatment device can have an illumination device for illuminating a scalp of a user with light and
an electronic circuit device coupled to the sensor device for receiving the detected hair condition parameter and/or a treatment parameter determined from the hair condition parameter by employing the sensor device, wherein the electronic circuit device can be configured to control an illumination of the scalp of the user using light by employing the illumination device based on the received detected hair condition parameter and/or the treatment parameter.
Protective clothing and apparel for pets and animals and method of use
Protective clothing and apparel for pets and animals, and method of using same, structured as a shirt and/or hat made of an ultraviolet protective rash guard material with at least on portion having cooling crystals integrated therein. In a first embodiment the clothing is directed to a pet shirt constructed having a top portion, bottom portion, and side portions arranged to form a generally tubular member having an opened torso end, two leg members, and a collar member. In a second embodiment the clothing is directed to a pet hat constructed having a top portion, side portions and a front portion having a visor member attached thereto, the side portions having a lower rim. Two ear members and securement means are integrated within the lower rim of the side portions. At least a portion of the shirt/hat comprises ultraviolet properties. Additionally, at least a portion of the shirt/hat comprises a cooling zone formed of a plurality of cooling crystals. Owing to the ultraviolet material and cooling crystals the pet clothing shields pets/dogs from harmful ultraviolet rays while keeping them cool and comfortable and mitigating heat exhaustion.
Scalp Cooling Apparatus, Method, and System
A scalp cooling apparatus, method, and system that may include an inner scalp cap, an intermediate scalp covering, and an outer scalp cap. The inner scalp cap may be fluidly coupled to a cooling device, that would allow a cooling fluid to traverse the fluid chambers within a set of sections of the inner scalp cap. The inner scalp covering can be constructed of a thermally conductive material. The intermediate scalp covering can be constructed of a thermally neutral material. The outer scalp covering can be constructed of a thermally resistant material. The outer scalp covering may have a first securing mechanism, and a second securing mechanism, that allow the outer scalp covering to be dynamically adjusted and secured against a patient's scalp via the first securing mechanism and the second securing mechanism. The inner scalp cap may be created from a scan of a patient's head, that can then be utilized as an interpolated parametric model may be utilized to generate an output file.
Thermal Safety Helmet
A pliable padded thermal safety helmet that conforms to a patient's head. The helmet has an exterior layer that protects a patient from impact injuries, and has an interior surface that secures removable thermal packs that provide hot or cold therapy depending on the treatment intended for an injury, infection, etc. The thermal packs are removably attached to the inside surface of the thermal safety helmet, via hook and loop material, at any desired location inside the thermal safety helmet to provide heat or cold to specific areas of a patient's head.
Ventilated modular dual shelled helmet system
A modular helmet is described herein. The module helmet includes an inner shell adapted to be positioned onto a user's head and an outer shell coupled to the inner shell. The outer shell is spaced a distance radially outward from the inner shell to define a climatic zone between the inner shell and the outer shell. A cooling assembly is positioned within the climatic zone between the inner shell and the outer shell. The cooling assembly includes a plurality of cooling packets that are coupled to the outer shell.
HEAD TRAUMA BANDAGE CAP AND METHOD
An emergency trauma stretch bandage cap shaped as a skull cap with roll able edges capable of holding hot or cold packs, which is placed on the cranium to cover the crown, forehead, back of the head, ears, sides of the head around the ears, and the temples of an injured patient with minimal movement of the neck and spine made of two or more layers of a stretchable warp knit fabric cut and sewn to form a form-fitting head bandage shape to apply sufficient pressure to suppress bleeding.
SMART THERMOELECTRIC BRAIN HYPOTHERMIA THERMOHIPOTHERM AND BRAIN THERMOGRAPHY DEVICE
A smart thermoelectric brain hypothermia thermohipoetherm and brain thermography device cools or heats the human brain from the outside quickly with temperature control by converting the electrical energy received from the vehicle battery or the electrical network directly into cold or heat through a flexible thermoelectric helmet consisting of N and P-type semiconductors without using any intermediates. The device is equipped with smart software, easily portable, and flexible, and has a fluid circulation system to perform brain thermography to the patient's brain from the outside in a short period of time and without harming the patient and the environment, such as the harmful effects from radiation and magnetic fields. The device can perform a treatment that can keep the brain at a temperature of 28 C.-30 C. At the same time, this device can diagnose all kinds of diseases by taking brain thermography.
