Keyboard instrument and method performed by computer of keyboard instrument
A keyboard instrument includes at least one processor that determines a first pattern of intonation to be applied to a first time segment of a voice data on the basis of a first user operation on a first operation element, causes a first singing voice for the first time segment to be digitally synthesized from the first segment data in accordance with the determined first pattern of intonation, determines a second pattern of intonation to be applied to the second time segment of the voice data on the basis of a second user operation on a second operation element, and causes a second singing voice for the second time segment to be digitally synthesized from the second segment data in accordance with the determined second pattern of intonation.
System and method for automatic drumming
A system and method for automatic drumming. A MIDI decoder (1) receives MIDI serial data in real-time, decodes said MIDI serial data to obtain playing instructions, and signals at least one actuator (2) to strike at least one drum according to said decoded playing instructions. User inputs for selecting the MIDI channel and assigning MIDI notes to drums may be provided. The intensity of percussion may be controlled by the MIDI velocity and may be overridden by the user at the MIDI decoder. The at least one actuator may employ a solenoid and comprises features to mitigate latency between the MIDI serial data received and the drum hit. The at least one actuator may comprise a clamping or securement means enabling fast and convenient repositioning thereof. The at least one actuator may comprise means for substitution of a percussion implement, such as a drumstick, brush, or mallet.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, APPARATUSES, AND DEVICES FOR FACILITATING THE INTERACTIVE CREATION OF LIVE MUSIC BY MULTIPLE USERS
Disclosed herein is a method for facilitating creating of music in real time by multiple users, in accordance with some embodiments. Accordingly, the method comprises receiving first music segment selections from a first user device, receiving second music segment selections from a second user device, transmitting the first music segment selections to the second user device, and transmitting the second music segment selections to the first user device. Further, each of the first user device and the second user device is configured for retrieving the first music segments, retrieving the second music segments, determining a universal time, synchronizing the second music segments with the first music segments to a common musical beat based on the universal time, mixing the second music segments with the first music segments based on the synchronizing, and generating a mixed music comprising the first music segments and the second music segments based on the mixing.
System and method for AI controlled song construction
According to an embodiment, there is provided a system and method for automatically generating a complete music work from a partially completed work provided by a user. One approach uses an artificial intelligence (AI) engine that is trained by creating incomplete works from a database of complete works and then instructing the AI to complete the incomplete works. A comparison is made between the completed works and the originals to determine the effectiveness of the training process. After the AI is trained, it is applied to the user's incomplete work to produce a final music item.
Emulation of at least one sound of a drum-type percussion instrument
The present invention relates to a removable electronic device for emulating at least one sound of a drum-type percussion instrument, said device being intended to instrumentalise a striking element. A defining means defines a striking area on a tangible support. An allocating means allocates a drum element associated with a predetermined sound to the striking area, in a database. At least one sensor generates a stroke signal having at least one piece of stroke information on a stroke of a user with the striking element in the striking area. A computer processing means implements a processing algorithm configured to process the stroke signal to spatially locate said stroke in order to detect the area struck and to determine the drum element corresponding to this area struck. A generating means is configured to generate a sound signal comprising information on the sound virtually generated by said stroke of the striking element in said area struck.
SYNTHESIZED PERCUSSION PEDAL AND LOOPING STATION
An apparatus for facilitating control of midi-sequence generation is disclosed. The apparatus may include a midi-sequence module configured to store a plurality of main midi sequences, store a plurality of fill midi sequences, and playback a plurality of main midi sequences and the plurality of fill midi sequences. The apparatus can also include a first foot-operable switch configured to operate the midi-sequence module, an instrument input, and a looping means configured to record a plurality of signals received from the instrument input, generate a plurality of recorded loops associated with the plurality of recorded signals, store the plurality of recorded loops, and playback each of the plurality of recorded loops. The apparatus can also include a second foot-operable switch configured to operate the looping means.

Pace-aware music player
An electronic device may comprise audio processing circuitry, pace tracking circuitry, and positioning circuitry. The pace tracking circuitry may be operable to selects a tempo of songs for playback, by the audio processing circuitry based on position data generated by the positioning circuitry, a desired tempo, and whether the songs are stored locally or network-accessible. The position data may indicate the pace of a runner during a preceding, determined time interval. The pace tracking circuitry may control the song selection and/or time stretching based on a runner profile data stored in memory of the music device. The profile data may include runner's distance-per-stride data. The electronic device may include sensors operable to function as a pedometer. The pace tracking circuitry may update the distance-per-stride data based on the position data and based on data output by the one or more sensors.
