In a further aspect, the invention relates to a system comprising the device and a mobile device, wherein the device is configured for a power supply by the mobile device and/or for data exchange with the mobile device and/or for control by the mobile device via an interface.
COUPLABLE PORTABLE DEVICE FOR THE THERMAL MEDICAL TREATMENT OF SKIN
A portable device for the thermal medical treatment of skin allows a treatment attachment to be coupled to a mobile data-processing unit, preferably a smartphone or a tablet, via an interface, wherein a housing of the treatment attachment which extends over the treatment attachment is provided with a heating element directly underneath the surface facing away from the data-processing unit in the coupled state, the heating element being coupled to a temperature sensor, wherein the heating element, with the interposition of a control unit, is connected to the electrically conductive interface or, via a Bluetooth connection, to the data-processing unit in such a way that the heating element is supplied with power via one or more rechargeable batteries integrated into the data-processing unit in such a way that the heating element can be heated to a temperature predefined via the control unit.
PAD FOR ALLEVIATING AND TREATING PLASMA PROTEIN EXUDATION SKIN DISEASES INCLUDING ATOPIC DISEASES
The present invention relates to a pad for treating skin diseases, comprising agar gel and a fiber layer fixed to the inside of the gel, and a manufacturing method therefor. The pad of the present invention inhibits blood vessel exudation symptoms according to vasodilation by maintaining a low temperature of the affected area, reduces an itchy sensation and, at the same time, removes, from the skin, plasma proteins and various plasma-derived substances accumulated in skin tissue, thereby having an effect of alleviating the symptoms of the affected area.
DEVICE FOR HYPERTHERMIA TREATMENT OF PRURITUS
The invention relates to a device for hyperthermal treatment of pruritus by applying a treatment surface with a size between 1 cm.sup.2 and 18 cm.sup.2, whereby the treatment surface during the treatment phase is held at a temperature between 40 C. and 65 C. for 2 seconds to 12 seconds, preferably 4 seconds to 6 seconds. The device according to the invention allows a significant relief of itching over large areas of the skin and an effective treatment of pruritus, chronic pruritus, dermatitis, allergies, and cnidarian stings.
DEVICE FOR HYPERTHERMIA TREATMENT OF ITCHING
The invention relates to a device for hyperthermic treatment of itching, for example following insect bites, wherein during the treatment a treatment surface is regulated at a temperature of preferably between 42 C. and 56 C. for a period of 2 sec to 12 sec and a hardware-implemented temperature monitor limits the maximum temperature of the treatment surface and a safety fuse shuts off the device in the case of a short-circuit or uncontrolled continuous heating.
Instrument for and method of treating venomous bites
A method and instrument for treating the toxic effect a patient experiences as a result of insect bites and snakebites comprises applying multiple instantaneous 20,000 to 30,000 volt electric discharges from a hand-operated piezoelectric device to a site of the bite.
AFTER-INSECT BITE DEVICE AND METHOD
They are described an after-insect bite device (100) and method. The device (100) comprises a container body (10); an applicator head (30) extending from one end (14) of the container body (10); and a reservoir (50) housed within the container body (10) and adapted to contain a mixture (M) that is intended to be applied, through said applicator head (30), onto a part affected by the insect bite. The mixture (M) is a mixture (M) of completely vegetal substances and the device (100) further comprises heating means (40) housed within the container body (10) and which can be activated by switching on/off means (70) of said device (100) to heat said part affected by the insect bite, before applying said mixture (M).
TOPICAL COOLING DEVICE
A topical cooling device for cooling and desensitizing the surface of the skin of a patient is provided that includes a thermally insulating container having at least one side wall, an open end and a closed end, and internal cavity. A thermally transmitting member is included for closing the open end of said container. A refrigerant medium is provided within the cavity of the container and in contact said thermally transmitting member for cooling the surface of the skin of a patient in contact with the thermally transmitting member. The refrigerant medium can be hypertonic aqueous sodium chloride solution. The thermally transmitting member can be flexible bladder that is received within the container where the refrigerant medium is thermally insulated by the container. A lid can be attached to the open end of the container to close the device until ready for use.
