The present disclosure relates to a glove with both flock-lined and unlined interior surfaces The glove generally comprises a hand region including a palm portion and a dorsal portion; a thumb region and four individual digit regions projecting away from one end of the hand region; and a cuff region extending outwardly from another end of the hand region opposing to the thumb region and the four individual digit regions. The cuff region terminates to a terminal end defining an opening for insertion of a user hand therein. Preferably, the hand region comprises flock lining on at least the interior surface of the palm portion or one or more selected areas on the interior surface of the palm portion. The cuff region is free from having any flock lining.

Article containing both thermoplastic and elastomer

A latex formulation comprising elastomer, thermoplastic, accelerator, antifoaming agent, antioxidant, crosslinker, colouring agent, surfactant, filler, pH adjuster and dispersing medium, wherein the latex formulation has a total solid content ranging between 5% by weight to 40% by weight. A method of preparing a latex formulation to manufacture a glove containing both thermoplastic and elastomer, wherein the method comprises the steps of blending elastomer with thermoplastic to produce a dispersion and stirring the dispersion, adding while stirring accelerator, antifoaming agent, antioxidant, crosslinker, colouring agent, surfactant and filler one after another with no particular order and followed by pH adjuster into the dispersion to produce latex formulation and stirring continuously and allowing to mature, wherein total solid content is adjusted to between 5% by weight to 40% by weight by way of addition of dispersing medium and wherein pH range of the latex formulation is adjusted to between 9 to 11.

The forward end and the wristward end adapted to each other may include a first finger portion configured to receive a little finger of a user, a second finger portion configured to receive a ring finger of a user, a third finger portion configured to receive a middle finger of a user, a fourth finger portion configured to receive an index finger of a user, and a thumb portion configured to receive a thumb of the user. A panel is adapted to the back side of the glove body. The panel may be configured to receive a removably insertable cleaning cloth.

BIOHAZARD BARRIER AND SYSTEM FOR A HUMAN HAND
20220250369 · 2022-08-11 ·

A skin barrier system includes an adhesive layer that reasonably secures on the underside of a palmar region and phalanx region of a hand; a biohazard barrier layer attached to the adhesive layer, biohazard barrier layer being configured to come in contact with surfaces and prevents containments from traveling through the biohazard barrier layer and the adhesive layer. An aspect of the disclosure includes a two-sided, molded material for a barrier on the palm side of the hand and fingers. One side adheres to hand and the other side may be configured to contact surfaces while keeping bacteria from getting through to the skin of a human hand.

DRUG RESISTANT GLOVE

An ambidextrous or hand-specific glove including a wrist region, a palm region, and a digit region. The glove may be fabricated of nitrile rubber that is free of or essentially free of zinc, sulfur and accelerators to reduce allergic reactions in populations required to frequently wear protective gloves. A band region that partially or fully encircles a user's finger knuckles may be provided for easier finger bending. Texturing may be provided on glove surfaces that are used to grip articles. The fingertip regions on the front surface of the index and middle finger regions may be un-textured or smooth to enable a user to take a patient's pulse. These fingertip regions may be of reduced or smaller diameter and circumference so as to pull the glove material tightly around the tips of the user's finger and thereby applying pressure thereto so that even a faint pulse in a patient may be detected.

MEDICAL TOOL FOR FINGERTIP

A medical tool for fingertip of the present invention has a resin layer that emits red fluorescence or near-infrared fluorescence, and is used by putting it on a fingertip. More specifically, the medical tools for fingertip 1A to 1E have a finger cot shape and an opening portion 2 from which the ball of the finger is exposed when put on, and are formed of a resin that emits red fluorescence or near-infrared fluorescence. Alternatively, the medical tools for fingertip 1F and 1G have a globe shape, and a printing layer 8, 9 that is formed of a resin that emits red fluorescence or near-infrared fluorescence on or around the ball of the finger thereof. Further alternatively, the medical tools for fingertip 1H and 1I are a sticker-like medical tool having an adhesive layer provided to one surface of the resin layer that emits red fluorescence or near-infrared fluorescence, and have a size that allows it to be attached to the ball of the finger. When the medical tools for fingertip are put on the tip of a finger of a surgeon used for palpation of a living body, the position of an affected site which has been specified from the mucosal side by the palpation can be accurately specified from the serosal side.

In certain embodiments, the antimicrobial additive is a neem extract, a lemon extract, or combination thereof. The coagulant solution includes an antitack agent, a coagulating agent, a wetting agent, a pH adjuster and a solvent.

SELF-DISINFECTING GLOVE COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF PRODUCTION THEREOF

A method for manufacturing a self-disinfecting glove, the method comprising dissolving an elastomer in a solvent to form a solution, wherein the elastomer is selected from the group consisting of synthetic rubber, natural rubber, and nitrile. Adding of a photosensitizer to the elastomer solvent solution and evaporating the solvent solution to form a film, wherein the photosensitizer is selected from the group consisting of methylene blue, hypericin and titanium dioxide. Next hot pressing of the film above elastomer's melting point to form a sheet. Finally cutting, stacking and hot pressing the sheet again to enable even spread of the photosensitizer throughout the sheet.
