METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PACKAGE STRUCTURE
A method of producing a packaging structure, including the steps: coating at least one surface of a first sheet base material and/or a second sheet base material with a synthetic polyisoprene latex having a weight average molecular weight of 500,000 -5,000,000 and/or a styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer having a weight average molecular weight of 100,000-300,000, sandwiching an article to be packaged in a state wherein the first and second sheet base material are in contact with each other via a latex coated surface formed on the first and/or second sheet base material to thereby obtain a laminated body, pressing a portion where at least the first and second sheet base material of the laminated body are in contact with each other via the latex coated surface at a temperature of 100 C. or less to thereby obtain a pressed laminated body, and performing a sterilization treatment on the pressed laminated body.
Silicone gel-coated wound dressing
A wound dressing product that includes a substrate layer having an upper surface and a lower surface; a tacky silicone coating composition present on the upper surface and on the lower surface; and upper and lower release sheets covering the substrate and the tacky silicone coating composition on the upper and lower surfaces, respectively, and adhered to the surfaces by the tacky silicone coating composition, wherein the upper surface is less tacky than the lower surface whereby the upper release sheet can be removed from the upper surface more readily than the lower release sheet can be removed from the lower surface. Also provided are methods for making such dressings.
Protective splint kit for the treatment of joint pain and wounds
A kit for assembling a device designed to prevent flexing of a joint to reduce joint pain or to prevent reopening of a wound over said joint. The kit allows a user to assemble a device of any desired size or shape.
Protective release sheet for microneedle patch
Provided is a microneedle patch which is easily to be applied on a skin surface. One or more holes are provided inside a protective sheet of the microneedle patch, and one or more cutting lines running from an outer edge of the protective sheet toward the holes are also provided. The cutting lines may be symmetrically arranged on both sides of the hole. Providing an incision on the outer edge of the cutting lines of the protective release sheet facilitates cutting along the cutting lines. In the use of the microneedle patch, both sides of the cutting line of the protective release sheet are held and torn so as to bring out a microneedle array adhesive sheet and apply it on a skin. Then the microneedle array surface is slightly compressed, thereby the microneedle is inserted into the stratum corneum.
MODIFIABLE BANDAGE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A modifiable bandage system; the modifiable bandage system is a modifiable bandage that includes a malleable material, an attached absorbent material, and a removable backing. The malleable material includes a longitudinal severable indicia that defines a severable-longitudinal area. The malleable material further includes a transverse severable indicia that defines a severable-transverse area. The modifiable bandage system functions such that absorbent material may be extended longitudinally by removal of the severable-transverse area and coupling multiple modifiable bandages. Further, the absorbent material may be extended transversely by removal of the severable-longitudinal area and coupling multiple modifiable bandages. The modifiable bandage system is useful for covering various sizes of wounds.
WOUND DRESSING SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USE
A wound dressing system has a dressing. The dressing may have a bandage; and the dressing may form a patient-contacting face that defines an interior wound-contacting portion and a peripheral adhesive portion, the peripheral adhesive portion at least partially surrounding the interior wound-contacting portion, with a removable outer cover overlying the peripheral adhesive portion. A method involves securing the wound dressing system over a wound on a patient.
Adhesive sheet for affixation to body, housed in container
Provided is an adhesive sheet for affixation to the body which is excellent in enhancement and persistence of the blood circulation promoting action, has high affixability and conformability as a sheet, and is easily and widely applicable to the body in any use situation. That is, the present invention relates to an adhesive sheet for affixation to the body housed in a container, containing the following components (A) and (B): (A) bubbles containing carbon dioxide gas in a bubble fraction of 10% or more and 40% or less, and (B) water, wherein the total area occupied by bubbles having an imaginary diameter of 5 mm or more is 10% or less, in 100% of the surface area of the adhesive sheet for affixation to the body, a content of carbon dioxide gas in the total amount of the adhesive sheet for affixation to the body is from 100 to 20,000 ppm, and the adhesive sheet for affixation to the body is sealed in a low gas-permeable container.
Bi-directional packaging adhesive
In aspects of bi-directional packaging adhesive, a sterile package includes an adhesive patch that adheres to an applied surface. The sterile package includes a non-stick backing that adheres to the adhesive patch, with the non-stick backing being removable for application of the adhesive patch. The sterile package includes packaging that encompasses the adhesive patch and the non-stick backing, and includes a bi-directional adhesive configured to release in a first package opening direction to remove the packaging while maintaining the adherence of the non-stick backing to the adhesive patch, and hold in a second package opening direction to remove the non-stick backing from the adhesive patch along with removing the packaging. A portion of the non-stick backing is attached to an inside of the packaging with the bi-directional adhesive, and the attached portion peels the non-stick backing from the adhesive patch in the second package opening direction to open the packaging.
MEDICAL DRESSING PATCH AND METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Provided is a medical dressing patch which is used to simultaneously protect and treat an injury to a skin such as burns, wounds, and traumas, and a method and an apparatus for manufacturing the medical dressing patch, and more particularly, to a medical dressing patch including: a release paper; and an adhesive sheet which is fixed to an upper portion of the release paper and attached to a skin, in which the release paper includes a fixing release paper, and a separation release paper which is fixed to the fixing release paper through a cut-out portion and a connecting portion formed on the fixing release paper, and positioned such that a predetermined region of the separation release paper overlaps a lower surface of the adhesive sheet so that the separation release paper is separated together with the adhesive sheet when the adhesive sheet is separated from the fixing release paper, and a method and an apparatus for manufacturing the medical dressing patch.
Wound care product
A wound care product is provided. It comprises a sealed chamber in which a wound care article is arranged around a support member in such a manner that a curved portion of the wound care article is in contact with the support member. The curved portion interconnects two other portions on opposite sides of the support member.
