Transport control device
A transport control device includes a state predictor that is machine-learned to output, for each candidate of a setting value of a parameter to control the operation of a transport system, state prediction information indicating a predicted state of the transport system associated with a second period after a first period, and a determinator that determines state prediction information associated with a prediction target period for each candidate of the setting value of the parameter, and determines the setting value of the parameter to be applied to the transport system in the prediction target period based on an evaluation result of the state prediction information for each candidate of the setting value of the parameter.
CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a control system for a host vehicle. The control system comprises one or more controllers. The control system is configured to associate navigation data for the host vehicle with a value indicative of a time point; determine an indication of time elapsed since the time point; and disable use of said navigation data based on the result of the determination. Aspects of the disclosure also relate to a vehicle, a control method and a non-transitory computer readable medium.
PROCESSING ROUTE INFORMATION
Server apparatus comprising a processor and a memory, the server apparatus being configured, under control of the processor, to execute instructions stored in the memory: to establish a route data record comprising data indicative of plural routes, each said route being between a start location and a respective destination, whereby each respective destination has at least one route to it from said start location; to process the route data record to determine a zone data record indicative of zones making up each route; and to combine the zone data record with a prediction data record to score the route data making up each said route to each destination based upon a prediction of the probability of a job or expected revenue in each zone making up that route.
VEHICLE ENERGY BUDGET MANAGER
A controller, after a cumulative amount of energy consumed by at least one auxiliary load during travel of a vehicle along a route exceeds a predetermined amount of energy allocated for the at least one auxiliary load during travel of the vehicle along the route, reduces the power provided to the at least one auxiliary load from an energy storage arrangement.
Relative position management of autonomous vehicles based on data bandwith requirements
Aspects of the present invention disclose a method for routing one or more autonomous vehicles to minimize a density of autonomous vehicles and passengers passing through network areas with oversubscribed bandwidth. The method includes one or more processors determining a bandwidth requirement of a first autonomous vehicle. The method further includes determining respective bandwidth requirement for one or more additional autonomous vehicles utilizing a wireless network. The method further includes determining a total bandwidth capacity of one or more nodes of the wireless network. The method further includes determining routing instructions from a current location of the first autonomous vehicle to a destination of the first autonomous vehicle based at least in part on the bandwidth requirement of the first autonomous vehicle and the total bandwidth capacity of the one or more nodes of the wireless network.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An information processing apparatus includes a controller configured to acquire schedule information, upon acquiring information regarding a need to transport a product of a first shop to a second shop, for at least one user who is staying near the first shop or is scheduled to pass near the first shop, select, based on the schedule information, a user for requesting transportation of the product from among the at least one user, and transmit, to a terminal apparatus of the selected user, information requesting transportation of the product.
ALGORITHMS FOR OPTIMIZING UTILIZATION
A cloud service receives locations of priority vehicles (PVs) and non-priority vehicles in a metropolitan area. The cloud service accesses a database storing indicia of restricted road portions in the metropolitan area. The cloud service allocates restricted road portions from the database to the NPVs based on the locations of the PVs, the locations of the NPVs, and locations of the restricted road portions. The allocating includes preventing some of the restricted road portions in the database from being available to be allocated to the NPVs based on determining, according to the locations of the PVs and NPVs and according to pre-stored routes of the PVs, that estimated uses of the road portions by the NPVs would conflict with estimated uses of the road portions by the PVs as they travel along the pre-stored routes. Routes generated to include the respectively allocated road portions are provided to the NPVs.
Optimization of network service based on an existing service
A network system can receive, from a user device of a requesting user, a query related to a first service. If the network system determines that a first service provider is in progress of providing a second service for the requesting user, the network system can identify, based on a service location of the second service, a plurality of entities that provide items available for selection in association with the first service. The network system can further determine whether to select the first service provider to fulfill the request for the first service based on an estimated first service duration associated with the first service and an estimated duration remaining for the second service. The first service duration can be estimated based on respective timing information associated one or more items selected by the requesting user. The network system can update a route for the first service provider.
Identifying stopping place for autonomous vehicle
Among other things, a vehicle is caused to drive autonomously through a road network toward a defined goal position, and, if no potential stopping place that is in the vicinity of the goal position and is acceptable and feasible can be identified, a human operator not onboard the vehicle is enabled to drive the vehicle to a stopping place.
Information processing device, information processing method, and information processing program product
According to one embodiment, an information processing device includes: a first memory; a first receiver; a first determination section; and a first transmitter. The first memory is configured to store first image data of interior of a vehicle at a first point in time. The first receiver is configured to receive second image data of the interior of the vehicle at a second point of time from the vehicle. The first determination section is configured to determine whether a change has been caused in the interior of the vehicle between the first point in time and the second point in time. The first transmitter is configured to transmit first data based on the determination result.
