Apparatus and method for switching navigation mode between vehicle navigation mode and personal navigation mode in navigation device
An apparatus and method are provided for switching a navigation mode between a vehicle navigation mode and a pedestrian navigation mode. The apparatus includes a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver configured to receive a GPS signal; and a controller configured to calculate a speed of the apparatus by using the GPS signal received by the GPS receiver, compare the calculated speed of the apparatus with a threshold speed, and determine the navigation mode of the apparatus between the vehicle navigation mode and the pedestrian navigation mode based on the comparison.
Method for providing information to head unit of vehicle by using template-based UI, and head unit and computer-readable recoding media using the same
A method for providing information to a head unit of a vehicle by using a template-based user interface. The head unit acquires information on multiple applications belonging to a specific category among built-in internal applications of the head unit and external applications stored in a mobile terminal connected with the head unit. The head unit acquires information on available applications that support detailed functions included in the acquired multiple applications belonging to the specific category by individual detailed functions by referring to the information on the detailed functions included in the applications belonging thereto. The head unit to displays one or more lists of the available applications by the detailed functions through the template.
Information provision apparatus for vehicle
Provided is an information provision apparatus for a vehicle, the apparatus capable of providing information that fits the situation of the vehicle to a user. An information provision apparatus for a vehicle is provided with a vehicle-mounted device which comprises a report means for reporting various kinds of information including vehicle information to a user, and a control means for operating the report means, and is connected to an external device via a connection means. Upon receiving a manipulation input signal indicating that a start switch of the vehicle is turned on, the control means operates the report means in order to report to the user that a communication connection between the vehicle-mounted device and the external device is not established, until the communication connection is established.
COORDINATED DRIVING THROUGH DRIVER-TO-DRIVER V2X COMMUNICATION
According to one or more aspects, a system for coordinated driving may include a vehicle communication system receiving a proposed driving maneuver from a tractor vehicle, an input device receiving a response to the proposed driving maneuver from an occupant of a trailer vehicle, and a route generation module generating a route corresponding to the proposed driving maneuver based on the response to the proposed driving maneuver. The tractor vehicle may be engaged in segment-by-segment coordinated driving with the trailer vehicle utilizing a cooperative adaptive cruise control (CACC) module.
LOCATION-BASED GENERATION OF MULTIMEDIA CONTENT
One or more embodiments described herein can provide for location-based generation of multimedia content. In some embodiments a system comprises: a first generation component configured to generate a first set of multimedia content corresponding to a first location of a vehicle; a second generation component configured to generate a second set of multimedia content corresponding to a second location of the vehicle; an interaction component configured to facilitate generation of detailed information associated with a first subset of multimedia content of the first set of multimedia content or a second subset of multimedia content of the second set of multimedia content based on a set of received input data; and a presentation component configured to display the first set of multimedia content, the second set of multimedia content, the first subset of multimedia content or the second subset of multimedia content at a user interface.
Activation of cryptographically paired device
An event is detected at a first device. Responsive to the detection, at least some functionality of the first device is deactivated. The presence of a second device, cryptographically paired with the first device, is detected by the first device. Responsive to the detection, at least some functionality of the first device is activated or reactivated.
SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE AND SEMICONDUCTOR MODULE
Input and output terminals are arranged so as to be adapted for an environment in which they are to be used. A semiconductor module (5) is surface-mounted on a surface wiring layer (30a) of a main substrate (3). A first module terminal group (11) located on a module first side (2a) of the semiconductor module (5) and a first substrate terminal group (301) located on a substrate first side (3a) of the main substrate (3) are connected by a first surface wiring pattern (311) formed in a surface wiring layer (30a). A second module terminal group (12) located on a module second side (2c) and a second substrate terminal group (302) located on a substrate second side (3c) are connected by a second surface wiring pattern (312) formed in the surface wiring layer (30a).
INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An information processing system includes: an acquisition unit configured to acquires position information indicating a position of a vehicle, sensor performance information indicating the performance of a sensor mounted on the vehicle, and weather information corresponding to the position of the vehicle; and a database creation unit configured to creates correlation data indicating a correlation between the weather information and the sensor performance information on the basis of the information acquired by the acquisition unit.
INFORMATION COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE
An information communications system (100) for a vehicle includes an on-vehicle information device (10). The on-vehicle information device (10) includes: an information collection unit (11) which collects vehicle information from an on-vehicle device (41, 42, 43, 44), communication interfaces (14A, 14B) connected to mobile terminals (20) having a communication function and being brought inside the vehicle, and a control unit (12) which transfers the vehicle information collected by the information collection unit (11) to any one of the mobile terminals (20) via any one of the communication interfaces (14A, 14B).
