Flow measurement apparatus and method of use
The invention provides an apparatus and method for measuring fluid flow rates. The apparatus comprises a meter body comprising a throughbore with a fluid flow path and a flow displacement member. The apparatus also provides a sleeve slidably mounted within the fluid flow path. The sleeve is configured to be movable between at least two axial positions within the fluid flow path to select a predetermined flow rate measurement range for the flow measurement apparatus.
Utility flow meter with display mode controller
A utility flow meter and a method for measuring a flow of a liquid through a flow conduit having a liquid sensing arrangement, a display device, and a display mode controller for controlling the display mode. The display mode controller is configured to control the display mode based on a first display mode when the liquid presence criterion is fulfilled and a second display mode when the liquid presence criterion is not fulfilled. The first display mode consists of at least one flow representation, and the second display mode consists of at least one further representation.

LIQUID FLOW INDICATOR DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
A fluid transport system, comprising: a first container; a second container; a coupler coupled between the first container and the second container, the coupler including: a body portion, the body portion defining an aperture configured for fluid flow through an interior of the body portion; a flange and one or more indicator objects sealed within the body portion of the coupler, the flange has means for containing the indicator objects; wherein the fluid transport system is configured to permit fluid flow from the first container through the coupler to the second container; and wherein the indicator objects make a noise, when the fluid flows through the means for containing the indicator objects, thereby providing audio notification to a user that the fluid is flowing from the first container through the flange sealed within the body portion of the coupler to the second container. A Liquid Flow Indicator Device and a method of using the device.
LIQUID FLOW INDICATOR DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
A Liquid Flow Indicator Device comprising: a sight glass having one or more cages positioned around the sight glass for containing one or more indicator objects, so a user can see the indicator objects, which are visible to the user looking through the sight glass, thereby providing visual notification to the user. When the liquid is flowing through the cages and also the sight glass, the indicator objects will float around inside the cage, thereby providing visual notification to the user that the liquid is flowing through the cage and the sight glass. The indicator objects can also make a sound when the liquid flows through the sight glass and through the cage by banging around inside the cage, thereby providing audio notification to the user that the liquid is flowing through the sight glass. As such, this invention provides Audio notifications and/or Visual notifications regarding the flow of liquid. A fluid transport system and a method of using the device.

SYSTEM FOR SHUTTING-OFF FLUID FLOW AND MEASURING FLUID FLOW RATE
A system for shutting-off fluid flow and measuring fluid flow rate may include a housing defining an inlet, a valve body chamber, and an outlet opposite the inlet. The system may also include a valve body at least partially received in the valve body chamber, and an actuator coupled to the valve body and configured to reposition and/or re-orient the valve body. The system may also include at least one pressure sensor configured to generate a pressure differential signal indicative of a pressure difference between pressure at the inlet and the outlet, and a controller configured to receive a valve body signal indicative of a valve body position and/or orientation and the pressure differential signal, and determine a flow rate of fluid flowing through the housing based at least in part on the valve body signal and/or the pressure differential signal.
Flow Sensor
Flow sensors are provided that can provide both leak detection and flow monitoring. The flow monitoring enables a determination whether there are blockages or leaks in a fluid system during normal operation of the system. The leak detection enables detection of leaks when the system is shut off. The flow sensors can use a frusto-conical flow guide to provide a more compact flow sensor.
