A gas leakage treatment method includes detecting a target gas concentration of a target gas in an environment at a corresponding position of a gas delivery pipeline in a process of moving along the gas delivery pipeline. The method further includes, if the target gas concentration is greater than a preset concentration threshold, determining that gas leakage occurs and performing a gas leakage treatment operation.

METHOD FOR CHECKING THE LEAKPROOFNESS OF A LEAKPROOF AND THERMALLY INSULATING TANK FOR STORING A FLUID

A method for checking the sealing of a sealed tank for storing a liquefied gas at low temperature, the tank having an inner hull and a secondary sealing membrane, a secondary space that is arranged between the inner hull and the secondary sealing membrane, a primary sealing membrane and a primary space that is arranged between the primary sealing membrane and the secondary sealing membrane is disclosed. The method has the following main steps: generating a pressure lower than the pressure of the primary space in the secondary space using a suction device, measuring the temperature of an outer surface of the inner hull, and detecting the location of a sealing defect of the secondary sealing membrane in the form of a cold spot on the outer surface of the inner hull.

The probe head comprises activation means (18) for shifting the clamp between an open position (20) and the closed position (22) by interaction with a pipe section (2). The leak detector (1) comprises a common conduit (60) configured for detecting purpose and for purging the sample area.

Methods of fabricating conduits for transporting fluids

A method of fabricating a conduit comprises steps of attaching a first first-tubular-outboard-ply-end of a first tubular outboard ply to a first inner collar portion of a first collar with a second weld and attaching a second first-tubular-outboard-ply end of the first tubular outboard ply to a second inner collar portion of a second collar with a fourth weld. The method also comprises steps of inserting a second tubular outboard ply into the first tubular outboard ply and inserting a tubular inboard ply into the second tubular outboard ply, so that the second tubular outboard ply is interposed between the tubular inboard ply and the first tubular outboard ply. The method further comprises steps of threadably interconnecting the first inner collar portion and a first outer collar portion of the first collar and threadably interconnecting the second inner collar portion and a second outer collar portion of the second collar.

CONTAMINATION TEST RIG

System and methods are provided for a contamination test rig that includes a particle injection chamber including a pressure chamber, wherein a hopper, scale, and feeder are inside of the particle injection chamber, and wherein the test valve is disposed in a valve line that runs parallel to a by-pass line. A by-pass valve permits at least a portion of a mixture of air and contaminate particles to flow through the by-pass line instead of through the valve line when the by-pass valve is open, and prevents the mixture of air and contaminate particles from flowing through the by-pass line when closed.

METHOD OF INTEGRITY TESTING OF A SINGLE-USE SYSTEM

Disclosed is a method of integrity testing of a single-use system for processing a fluidic material. In the inventive method, a single-use system for processing at least one fluidic material is provided. The single-use system has at least one plastic component. A test gas is applied to a lumen of the single-use system. The test gas has one or more of spectral absorption or spectral emission properties in the infrared spectral range distinguishable from ambient air. At least a part of the single-use system is monitored using an infrared camera. A method of processing a fluidic material by using a single-use system and a test system for integrity testing of a single-use system are also disclosed.

Gas sensor fault detection device, gas sensor fault detection system, and gas sensor fault detection method

There is provided a gas sensor fault detection device that detects a sensor fault in a gas leak inspection device. The gas sensor fault detection device includes: a gas blowing unit that blows a gas toward a detection area of a gas sensor of the gas leak inspection device; and a position fixing unit that fixes a position of the gas blowing unit with reference to a hypothetical gas leak position of an inspection target being inspected by the gas leak inspection device.

Process-based approach for the detection of CO2 injectate leakage

The present invention includes a method for distinguishing between a natural source of deep gas and gas leaking from a CO.sub.2 storage reservoir at a near surface formation comprising: obtaining one or more surface or near surface geological samples; measuring a CO.sub.2, an O.sub.2, a CH.sub.4, and an N.sub.2 level from the surface or near surface geological sample; determining the water vapor content at or above the surface or near surface geological samples; normalizing the gas mixture of the CO.sub.2, the O.sub.2, the CH.sub.4, the N.sub.2 and the water vapor content to 100% by volume or 1 atmospheric total pressure; determining: a ratio of CO.sub.2 versus N.sub.2; and a ratio of CO.sub.2 to N.sub.2, wherein if the ratio is greater than that produced by a natural source of deep gas CO.sub.2 or deep gas methane oxidizing to CO.sub.2, the ratio is indicative of gas leaking from a CO.sub.2 storage reservoir.
