A dispenser head (100) for dispensing a unit (C) of a pharmaceutical drug or a food supplement or food is provided, said dispenser head (100) comprising: a dosing duct (102) extending along a dosing axis (104) and connecting an inlet port (106) for receiving the unit (C) from a reservoir (11) with an outlet port (108) for dispensing the unit (C); a support section (130) for the unit (C), which extends from the exit port (108) parallel to the dosing axis (104); and a retention section (110), which extends from the support section (130).
APPARATUS FOR MONITORING A POWER CAPACITOR AND ADAPTER FOR SUCH AN APPARATUS
An apparatus for monitoring a power capacitor having a housing with a housing interior to be gas-tightly closed off at a housing opening, includes a sensor device outputting a signal as a function of a gas pressure in the housing. An adapter mechanically connects the sensor device to the housing at the housing opening and fluidically connects it to the housing interior. The adapter has a cylindrical adapter body divided into a plurality of functional longitudinal sections and a feed-through for the fluidic connection extending over the plurality of longitudinal sections. A first longitudinal section, disposed in a region of the housing opening after connecting the adapter to the housing, caps or closes off the feed-through in a plane perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the adapter body and fluidically connects it to the housing interior in at least one plane parallel to the longitudinal axis.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CHECKING SEALING OF A BRAKE CALIPER HOUSING
A system and method of checking sealing of a brake caliper housing. The method may include determining a level of moisture in a cavity of a brake caliper housing with a sensor. In another configuration, the method may determine whether a detected pressure inside the cavity remains stable for a predetermined period of time.
HYDROGEN LEAK SENSING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FUEL CELL VEHICLE
In one aspect, disclosed are a hydrogen leak sensing device and method for a fuel cell vehicle. The device comprises a processor configured to control a valve of a hydrogen tank, wherein the processor may calculate a state of fuel (SOF) of the hydrogen tank when the valve is closed and a SOF of the hydrogen tank when the valve is opened, and determine whether hydrogen leak has occurred based on the calculated SOFs.
FLUID MONITORING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A fluid monitoring system is provided to detecting and modifying conditions relating to fluid. The fluid monitoring system may include a sensor component, sensors, analytic component, interface, control component and server. A method for detecting and modifying conditions relating to fluid flow using the fluid monitoring system is also provided.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETECTING LEAKAGE OF COOLANT IN BATTERY COOLING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
Disclosed is an apparatus for detecting a leakage of a coolant in a battery cooling device for a vehicle. In particular, the apparatus includes: a first pressure sensor to detect a first pressure in a coolant pipe; and a controller to receive a first pressure value from the first pressure sensor. The controller determines whether the coolant leaks in the coolant pipe based on the first pressure value.
Device for placing a stopper while simultaneously checking that the stopper is correctly positioned
A device places a plug and simultaneously checks a correct position alignment of the plug with a holding element for fixing a hollow body. The device has at least one first and one second opening and a plug placement mechanism with which the plug is be inserted into the second opening of the hollow body. The device has a measuring head that is traversed by at least one channel. The channel can be fluidically connected to the first opening of the hollow body. The device can further include a pressure sensor which can be fluidically connected to the channel of the measuring head.
APPARATUS AND METHOD
In one aspect of the invention for which protection is sought there is provided an apparatus (1) for providing access to pressurised pipes (24) and the like, the apparatus comprising: a body member (2) having attachment means for attachment of the body member to a pipe or vessel or a fitting coupled to a pipe or vessel, the body member having an internal barrel (6) that may be provided in fluid communication with the pipe or vessel or fitting when the body member is attached to the pipe or vessel or fitting; a hollow piston (3) slidable axially within the internal barrel, the apparatus being configured such that when an internal volume of the piston is pressurised by a fluid from the pipe or vessel a force exerted by pressurised fluid on the piston in a first axial direction is opposed by a force exerted by pressurised fluid on a counter-pressure portion (9, 10) of the piston, the apparatus being provided with a conduit orifice (15) adapted to allow a conduit (16) to be disposed therethrough so as to pass into the apparatus to an interior of the piston, wherein a pressure tight seal (15s) is formed between the conduit and conduit orifice, the apparatus being configured to allow a first end (3a) of the piston to be translated axially into the pipe, vessel or fitting, the piston having a port (21) arranged to allow egress of the conduit from the piston into the pipe, vessel or fitting.
Device for inspecting canister for vehicle
The present invention relates to a device for inspecting a canister for a vehicle, the device including: an inspection unit fixing a canister and inspecting airtightness of the canister using pressure of air supplied from an external supply source; a control unit controlling the pressure of the air and showing inspection process and result by the canister; and an alarm unit providing least any one of a voice and light warning in cooperation with the control unit in an inspection process when a defect of canister is detected.
Fuel vapor treatment apparatus
A fuel vapor treatment apparatus is provided with a fuel tank for storing fuel of an internal combustion engine, a canister for adsorbing fuel vapor generated in the fuel tank, a pump for reducing a pressure inside a detection target system including the fuel tank, a pressure detection sensor for detecting the pressure inside the detection target system, and a fluctuation detection unit for detecting a fluctuation width of the pressure inside the detection target system at the time when the pressure inside the detection target system is reduced to a predetermined pressure value.
