COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED LIQUID-HANDLER PROTOCOL
A server stores a set of laboratory applications to process batches of samples. The server receives, from a first lab administrator, a selection of a subset of the laboratory applications to process the batches of samples and an admin configuration for a laboratory application in the subset. The server receives configuration(s) of batch(es) to be used for running at least a portion of the subset of laboratory applications configured according to the admin configuration. The server receives, from a first scientific device, a request to run a laboratory application form the first subset to process a batch. The server provides the laboratory application(s) that are capable of being executed using the first scientific device. The server receives, from the first scientific device, a selected laboratory application. The server transmits, to the first scientific device, a signal for executing a first part of the selected laboratory application.

Methods and systems for characterizing clay
A method of improving agricultural treatment includes identifying a mineralogical feature based on a collected soil sample, generating a soil clay characterization based on the mineralogical feature, and generating an agricultural prescription. A system includes a processor and a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the system to identify a mineralogical feature based on a collected soil sample, generate a soil clay characterization based on the mineralogical feature, and generate an agricultural prescription. A non-transitory computer readable medium containing program instructions that, when executed, cause a computer to identify a mineralogical feature based on a soil sample, generate a soil clay characterization based on the mineralogical feature, and generate an agricultural prescription.
MOLECULAR PROFILING OF TUMORS
Provided herein are methods and systems of molecular profiling of diseases, such as cancer. In some embodiments, the molecular profiling can be used to identify treatments for a disease, such as treatments that were not initially identified as a treatment for the disease or not expected to be a treatment for a particular disease.
Biochemical analysis apparatus and method of operating the same
A sample installation part in which a sample container accommodating a sample to be subjected to biochemical analysis is installed, and consumables installation parts in which consumables to be used for the biochemical analysis are installed are accommodated in an apparatus body of a biochemical analysis apparatus. The apparatus body is provided with an opening part that leads to a sample tray. An instruction receiving unit receives a movement instruction for moving the sample tray from a normal position where the sample installation part is disposed on the opening part side to a consumables replenishment position where the consumables installation parts are disposed on the opening part side. A driving control unit moves the sample tray from the normal position to the consumables replenishment position in a case where the movement instruction is received by the instruction receiving unit.

Disclosed are methods, systems, and articles of manufacture for performing a process on biological samples. An analysis of biological samples in multiple regions of interest in a microfluidic device and a timeline correlated with the analysis may be identified. One or more region-of-interest types for the multiple regions of interest may be determined; and multiple characteristics may be determined for the biological samples based at least in part upon the one or more region-of-interest types. Associated data that respectively correspond to the multiple regions of interest in a user interface for at least a portion of the biological samples in the user interface based at least in part upon the multiple identifiers and the timeline. A count of the biological samples in a region of interest may be determined based at least in part upon a class or type of data using a convolutional neural network (CNN).
Automatic Analysis System
Provided is an automatic analysis device that shortens the confirmation time for calibration or precision management. This automatic analysis system includes an analysis device configured to perform an analysis for deriving a property of a specimen on the basis of the relative relationship between a measured value of a standard specimen for which the property is known and a measured value of the specimen, and a display device that displays information about calibration or precision management carried out on the analysis device using the standard specimen, the system being characterized in that the display device displays: a request list including request information about request for the calibration and/or the precision management; and/or a preparation list that displays, in an empty manner, a field of the standard specimen that corresponds to an in-rack position number where the standard sample is not to be placed, as preparation information about preparation of the standard specimen to be used, in accordance with the request, in the calibration and/or the precision management.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING QUALITY ASSURANCE FOR VALIDATION OF CALIBRATION DATA
A system and method for calibration of analytical instruments includes a software application allowing users to compute, construct, display, review, select and evaluate initial calibration models. The software application summarizes the initial calibration using the method evaluation parameters and the user selected evaluation criteria in the initial calibration evaluation table. The software application is a mathematically based program that will independently compute, construct, and display the initial calibration for each target analyte. This program then uses logic functions to review and select calibration variables against evaluation parameters. The software application is a user friendly tool performing all of the calculations independent of the on-boarded software and displays that information on a novel data visualization platform. The software application is the answer to questions centering around software limitations users encounter with on-board instrument software.
